Nice and comfortable.
Sound product, very comfortable,The Mattress comes in a box with wheels on, also purchased the double bed as a bundle package, Delivery was first class very quick, My 12 year old daughter and myself assembled the bed the brackets where a little bit stiff so I put a little dab of olive oil on and this did the trick

I purchased this mattress for my spare room queen bed. My son has been sleeping on it since purchase and finds it very comfortable. I had a couple also sleep on it for 2 nights and they are considering purchase too.

Great customer service
Our new mattress was delivery promptly, despite the pre Christmas rush. It was simple to assemble, and whilst not instantly comfortable, after a week, we have adjusted to the firmer style mattress and now love it to bits.

After having back surgery recently we decided to invest in a new mattress. After much research we settled on an ecosa. What attracted us was the ability to adjust the firmness, the memory foam and above all, the price. When compared with others in the market ecosa came up as the best proposition. The delivery was prompt and the mattress came in an easy to move box complete with wheels. Unpacking was easy as was rolling it out. After 3 weeks we are absolutely delighted. Our fear was it would be too firm for my partner but she loves it and claims...she is waking more rested and with less aches and pains. As for myself I'm so happy with the firmness and the fact that it helps keep my spine aligned and I'm experiencing less pain and I'm more mobile in the mornings. We are extremely happy that we chose ecosa.
I wish I can give less than 1 star
1. Mattress was not firm, do not buy, if you have any back issues, not that firm, mattress sinks while sleeping
on back, so imagine if mattress sinks than spine is in curve position, I am not heavy person as well.
2. The nightmare started when I had to return mattress and receive refund, the customer care girl said they have not received confirmation from Salvos of pickup of the mattress, although Salvos had picked it up 4-5 days back and they have sent the confirmation to them , I even forward the email (to Ecosa ), which was sent to to m...e by Salvos confirming that mattress has been picked up, but she was damn stubborn said Salvos has not sent us the confirmation and they they have to sent us confirmation directly. after multiple calls to Salvos and emails to Salvos they sent the email to Ecosa and Cc it to me to confirm mattress has been pocked up , after banging the head with Ecosa and rolling between Salvos and Ecosa like a soccer ball, they refund the money. I than the Salvos guy who was helpful and sent the confirmation 2-3 times. Also to add their phone number vanished from their website and so I had to chat with customer service breaking my fingers by continuous typing (they are dodgy mate) but that stubborn girl won't not budge and wanted to have confirmation form Salvos directly and she told me around 3 pm (near this time) that she had sent the email to salvos guy , but when I spoke to the salvos guy next day he mentioned he had not received email untill around 6pm, I think just to shove me off she told me she had sent the email to him Mate, just buy mattress from other company do not buy from Ecosa, save the hassle.

It takes a little time to get used to the support this mattress offers it is definitely worth the effort though I suffer from a degenerative disease in my spine and this is perfect I have a mattress Topper and love it I wake fresh and pain free every day now
One side seems to not be inflating and is very curved towards the edges
How can I fix this or is it stuck and needs to be replaced ?
Thank you in advance

Worst customer service!
If i could give 0 stars, i would! Ordered the single and double mattress and it wasn't comfortable. When trying to return after the 14 days, called 9 times and left several voicemails over the week and no response. Their phone number has now disappeared from their website. Dodgy and would never order from them again.
Purchased in December 2019 for $1,000.00.
The purchase was great. The website was clear and the ordering process was quick and easy. Delivery was faster than expected. As I am not in the ‘same day’ metro area, I did expect to wait a week but was pleasantly surprised when it was only two days. The box was easy to get into the house/bedroom and I unwrapped it and got it on the bed myself. It did initially appear ‘flimsier’ than I expected but I let it sit for a couple of hours and it inflated a bit more. It did have an awfully strong chemical odour for the first 48 hours. I have seen tha...t other people have written this too and Ecosa have replied to their reviews saying this is not normal - I can attest that I too did notice the smell, although it mostly dissipated within the 48 hours. The mattress is very light which means that if you like to tuck your top sheet under the mattress (as I do), it can come untucked very easily. I have found myself waking up in a tangle of sheets a few times. The mattress is delivered on the softest ‘medium’ setting. I left it at this setting for the first two nights but was waking up with quite bad lower back pain. On the third day I rose from the dead, I mean bed, and changed it over to the firmest setting. This was actually quite easy to do. Unfortunately the firmest setting is still too soft for me. I am a tummy sleeper and have been having some bad neck pain as I feel like I’m ‘sinking’ into the bed. There is also zero edge support which means that if you like to sleep close to the edge, you will basically roll off. I’m only one person so I’ve been sleeping bam in the middle, but I can’t see how two people would sleep comfortably spread out on this bed. Likewise, sitting on the edge of the bed to put socks on etc, you totally sink down. All in all I am a bit disappointed as I expected so much more! Clearly I just enjoy a much firmer and supportive mattress and will be going back to the brand I previously owned for 12 years (makin mattresses). I have initiated the returns process through Ecosa support and have received very prompt replies so far (thank you Grace), so I will wait and see how long it takes for the salvos to pick it up and my refund to be issued - I note others have had problems with this.

Don't touch this company
Hard as a brick totally destroyed our backs new it was not going to work after 3 days but you have to wait 14 days to return after sending them an email to get it picked up they asked us to try without cover on we said no next email offered us a free topper we were not interested then told up to 10 days for Sally's to pick up on the 10th day with no word we emailed again saying we doubted they had told Sally's to pick up they said they would email them again and within hrs we had a ph call from Sally's i asked them if this was the first corresp...ondence from ecosa they said yes once it was collect I took a photo of pick up truck and I got them to sign they had picked up again told up to 10 days for a refund I was totally surprised to get money back in account after a few days so extremely hard to get your refund all up just over a month and when I was researching no bad reviews for NZ yet I asked Sally's and they had picked up at least 10 from our area

Bought this mattress because of the ability to change the firmness and being waterproof.
Unfortunately even the softest setting was too hard for me but the hubby loves it. I will say it stopped his snoring! And it really does reduce partner disturbance.
Purchased for $899.00.
Not so perfect
It's a very firm mattress however u ajust it its still a rock. We spent another 500 dollors and a mattress topper and now I gotta say it's the best mattress we have ever owned but it need a good quality gel memory foam topper

Worst Support ever - Avoid at all cost
I have requested return of the mattress due to the fact that it caused my back to be sore. They organised a pickup by local charity, which didn't pick up the mattress due to parking issues (although there is enough room to drive into my driveway). Fair enough, I thought, they will organise someone else. No such luck. Have been in contact with their support almost daily for 7 weeks, they just kept promising pickup, without doing anything. Had to report the to ACCC and Consumer Affairs Victoria before they organised a pickup by AirTasker. Currently has been 2 weeks since the mattress got picked up, I am still waiting on refund.
Avoid at all cost, go with Sleeping Duck instead

Terrible for back support
Despite trying all three firmness options for the Ecosa, all three options have terrible support for back sleepers. The mattress is not comfortable, nor supportive at all. I wake up everyday with back pain and the Ecosa mattress is possibly the worst mattress I've ever slept on.

Didnt work for us.
We upgraded from a koala Double and thought we would try an ecosa Queen. Got a discount online and free shipping which was nice. Felt comfortable with the return policy.
Mattress arrived, but our queen bed had not so we waited 2 weeks to open and finally try.
The protector / waterproof cover / interchangeable stiffness sections are a good idea in theory, but in practice it meant the layers did not align perfectly creating small bulges that made the mattress look uneven. The covers are fiddly to unzip and therefore a standard mattress cover...would be far easier to manage, especially by yourself. Our mattress came out of the packaging folded in half and rolled, as opposed to just a continuous roll. When we put the mattress on the bed we immediately say the crease / sag in the middle of one side of the bed. As it was the weekend we thought wed give it 2 nights to regain its shape which should be plenty of time. After 2 nights of feeling like falling off the bed, and lower back feeling the effects of the sag we decided to return the mattress and go back to a koala Queen, which we have been happy with again ever since. Returning to ecosa required taking some Pictures of the mattress and emailing description of issue. This is annoying but I understand. I took photos showing sag and emailed. They tried to ask us if we could try the bed for longer but I told them without hesitation Im not sleeping on a faulty mattress and that we were not happy generally with the purchase and wanted a refund.

Uses charities to do their dirty work, appalling customer service and return policy
I Would give 0 Stars if i could!!
Our Mattress developed a massive structural integrity fault very early into its life
and our experience with their customer service and refunds/returns has been absolute hell
please see below
18/11/17 Date of purchase
2/7/19 initiated a claim for an manufacturer defect in the form of a massive reduction to the structural integrity of the mattress on one area
ecosa have made us jump through a million hoops in order to even initiate the refund procedure
note some of the ridiculous things ecosa are asking in regard to returns...

A total waste of money. Please don't get sucked in.
The bed is as hard as sleeping on concrete if you are a side sleeper.
I woke up so sore feeling like I had been hit by a truck.
Company has no after sale service and the mattress is totally impossible to return.

Incredibly hard and uncomfortable
It's a lemon. The NZ site is biased and I wish I'd seen this site first. The mattress is hard and unforgiving. Do not buy if you are a side sleeper, you will regret it
We picked Ecosa from research & 2 weeks into it, it is awesome! Really stunned by reading reviews seems a bit harsh??
It is comfortable it is awesome. Love it and sleeping better yes. I am. Its better than expected. We researched all mattress boxes and went with ecosa as price competitive. Have loved it in the 2 weeks. Not hard and Im a fussy tummy sleeper. Recommend it. Bit baffled with negative feedback

Questions & Answers
I just received my ecosa queen mattress, and it's been an hour but it's looks lopsided and hasn't inflated fully.
It also is off the ground at the edges, is that how it's supposed to be ?
We also used the cutter and we're super gentle.... Can you pls advise what's wrong and what can we do ?
Hi, Chadni. Thank you for purchasing and Ecosa queen sized mattress. Our mattress normally takes a couple of hours to inflate but we suggest our customer to leave it for 10 hours to do its thing. If this issue has not been resolved yet, please send our customer support team an email at email@example.com so we could further assist you with this. - Ecosa Group
Anyone actually had the mattress picked up by the salvos? I have a faulty (Confirmed by ecosa) and very smelly mattress from ecosa that they said will need to be donated to the salvos. I’m wondering how this process works as it seems like many people have had problems. Also the mattress and topper stink!! A strong burnt plastic smell that had stunk out my upstairs so I am trying to get it out ASAP and get a refund.
Apologies for the delayed response. We donate returned mattresses to charity to help people in need. Can you please provide your order number so we can follow-up the collection?
Hi There. You say that it takes 2 - 4 weeks to get used to the mattress. I have slept on some mattresses that are perfect after 1 nights sleep (unfortunately in hotels in other countries) . If we are unhappy with the mattress after 4 weeks do we get a refund immediately or must we wait for 100 days before we can get a refund.? Thanks
From reviews I have read Ecosa encourages users to sleep on the bed for 14 nights before considering wanting to return it. It seems a lot of people have had problems with either getting Ecosa to take the mattress back or Salvos (who Ecosa donates the mattress to) refuse to take it as it has something as little as a couple of hairs on it. Having said that not everyone writes reviews and in my experience people will either write them if they are very displeased or very pleased.
I have not had to return a mattress but have found Ecosa helpful in my dealings with them.
I’ve emailed them before the 100 days and they try to push it to 100 days so they don’t have to refund you sadly :( they’ve done it to other people
Ecosa would not even lodge the request to collect and refund the mattress within 14 days. They said we need to wait 14 days to even make the request. Based on the service so far with the faulty mattresses we received I suspect that actually getting the refund is going to be extremely difficult. Collection by Salvos is also a long wait time and the mattress needs to be kept immaculate or they will not collect. Ecosa would not refund after a faulty mattress was received - they insisted on sending another mattress and then the trial process continues.
