Never had any problem with seed germination but don’t expect refund on items they can’t provide. They need email address.

After trying to contact via email they don't have one only snail mail?? Better in writing phone calls "Yeah Yeah" My reason for contacting was to make aware of their competition, You can purchase higher seed count, convenient Paypal and cheaper seeds from Ebay? Even with their Ad insertion fee and their 13% Sales fee?

After purchasing around $400 of seeds a couple of years ago I have had nothing but failure. I cannot get one seed to grow after multiple attempts in different substrates and different temperatures. I have now switched to a couple of other brands and have had 80 - 100% germination rate of the same types of seeds.

well, eden seeds used to have a good not to say an exceptional reputation..... unfortunately, this is definitely a thing of the past! i have -over the recent past in particular- ordered a lot of seeds and bought eden seeds at local retailers and can only report that the quality of the seeds has gone down to unacceptable low rates of germination!… Read more

furthermore, the çustomer service', has been unacceptable and poor not to say rude! after my recent order (express deliver) the seeds still havent arrived after 16 days . to enquire about the reasons why, i rang twice and both times, the ladies in the office took absolutely no responsibility, no understanding, no " oh, i'm so sorry, lets see what we can do attitude. instead, they blamed it on cyclone, australia post, etc.

they done everything right, they dont care that i am upset and disappointed they were not at all interested to see my side of the story; they just regurgitated again and again , that THEY have done nothing wrong and that's the end of the story.. and it was them, that put the phone down!!! NEVER AGAIN eden seeds! how dare they, to have the audacity to not even listen to the customers? i guess, that after 40 years of support from the average grower/ gardener, they don't need to care anymore. they've got enough customers. they can afford to loose a few, like any other company, that is only interested in profit rather than offering good quality product and customer care. NEVER AGAIN

Dud seeds – These seeds are honestly garbage . I purchased over $250 worth of seeds. I planted over the 4 seasons. My success rate from seed to produce was less than 5%. What a waste of time and water. Bunnings have better seeds.

lousy seeds – absolutle NONE of the melon seeds have germinated [ charlston grey and honey dew ]. 30 % of the corn seeds have germinated. VERY DISAPOINTED. IN YOURPRODUCT.chris at byfield.

Rockmelon seeds – I ordered 6 packets of rockmelon seeds. I can't comment yet on the viability of the seed but two packets arrived empty - no little plastic seed pack inside. And the seed count on one variety was much less than the stated amount. Maybe machines pack the envelopes. In which case they need checking.

Well, I planted the seeds that did arrive. About 15 germinated which is not a lot from 6 packets paid for.

Awful – I am a long time customer of what used to be a great company. What a shame. I don't think anyone has told the new owners that it's hard for a business to remain solvent if you don't offer any product, service, morals or manners. Honestly don't ruin your day or waste your time dealing with these people.

Great seeds – Fantastic seeds. Provided some to the local primary school and the kids have had great success in their garden for 2023. Will be using Eden again for 2024. Thanks Eden.

Avoid at all costs – I have spent nearly $90 in seeds in 2021 nothing germinated, seeds should germinate I know some may not but none have. Gave seeds to my mother even hers did not germinate. She told me that she / Eden seeds have had success with seeds kept for 10 yrs.

She said I could purchase more ... I told her I have had success with Diggers seeds, my In-laws seeds who grow & save seeds (Italian Nationality). I was told maybe I didn't water enough, mulch, or store them correctly, or plant too deep etc. Have kept seeds in fridge ( as their recommendation) She said well Marigolds you just chuck them in anywhere & they will germinate...I said I was talking about the edible plants . I have an Orchard I know what I'm doing I mentioned this... Just such a shocking outcome... I will never purchase again She told me this is the 1st time she's heard of their seeds not germinating She stated she could not do anything for me.

I said I was more than happy to send them back , her reply well what am I going to do with them I can't re-sell them ...I said you can test them. I wish I had read the product reviews before I spent nearly $90 I even mentioned that a few packs had next yrs date and were they trying to get rid of seeds.

Obviously reading the others reviews there is a problem with their seeds. I do not leave feed back unless it will help others.

i bought those seeds from enfield produce NSW – i bought these seeds capsicum sweet banana 4 envelopes and not even a single plant has grown from these seeds. what a waste of time and hopes and efforts its all rubbish.

reliably poorly germination, time and time again – I am an organic farmer. I gave these guys a final (3rd) shot. Profoundly poor germination proved to be the case again.

fair enough, and also paid express shipping. it has now been 3 weeks and counting (15 business days) with no contact or shipping update. Tried calling them to find out what's happening, but no one is picking up the phone. Edit: Finally was able to get through. A lovely lady named Wendy was understanding and helpful. She was able to cancel my order and refund my money back. demand is high and with Unfortunately with covid and slow logistics they are getting hammered.

If you wanted seeds best to purchase for next season, until they catch up. Thank you Wendy

wanted to complain. Seriously? How professional. Surely, that person is a representative of the company? I simply said that I wanted to know when my order was coming. 5 minutes after I got off the phone, my credit card was charged and I received an email saying my order had been dispatched. I'll believe it when I see it! No explanation or apology whatsoever! I ordered from these guys because they have a few things others don't, but honestly, the germination rate from my last order was not good. I won't use this company again. I'd urge anyone else to use the Seed Collection or Seeds of Plenty. Much better service and products. Being in Melbourne, in yet another lockdown, I had hoped to spend time sowing seeds, especially given the warm weather. Lots of time lost. Won't use them again!

Very ordinary service – I ordered seeds and paid express because I needed them quickly. Despite advertising next day dispatch, Eden Seeds took a week to send the seeds, thus, rendering the extra I paid for express delivery a waste of money. The person I spoke to on the phone was officious and kept cutting me off mid sentence - rude. Eden Seed's response to my complaint was essentially "tough luck". A most unsatisfying experience.

Very fast delivery – Ordered seeds and they arrived very promptly. Have not planted all so can't comment on that. Unfortunately no email contact so I can't contact the company to complement them on their prompt delivery. Excellent range.

Terrible experience with owner – Terrible customer service from the owner. Unfortunately we had ordered seeds from here and were not notified that there was a minimum of 6 business days just to process the order. this the owner was extremely rude when I told him that if he couldnt supply me with a simple ETA then i would like to have a refund so i cpuld spend that money on a business that can provide basic details on purchases. Never again.

Order delayed due to the lockdown and seeds seems to be germinating well – Placed my order 8 May 2020, got an email that my order posted 26 May 2020, received seeds 29 May 2020. Very little communication with regards on when I will be receiving my order, I actually wondered if they had received my order. have staff to talk to customers because of the backlog.

When I did receive my order, I realised that one of the items ordered (sage) wasn't included but I also noticed that they had replaced it with a couple of other packets.

Haven't planted all the seeds received, so cannot say if it's all good. Having said that, the seeds planted appears to germinate well, so far so good.

First time ordering. Promising so far. Will most probably be ordering again as they have some fab sounding seeds.

Good range, good quality and fast delivery – I have been ordering from Eden Seeds for a number of years and they have consistently had everything I have asked for in stock (including bulk quantity items), and have delivered seeds well packaged and with quick delivery/postage. Germination rates have been excellent and they have a lot of interesting seed varieties to try.
