Never again. Fumes nearlly killed me – My son had nits so I treated his hair with this. He has never had nits so I was out of touch on what the go to is these days and this sounded good (so i thought) I also thought since my hair felt itchy I may as well do mine just incase. The smell actually made me feel sick it was that strong. The fumes literally stung my eyes and my scalp was… Read more
burning. And then when I looked in the mirror my whole forehead was red and it didn't even touch my forehead. Never again will I buy this product. I will be ringing the company today to complain. This should be taken off the shelf!!
Burning head and eyes – This lice shampoo was the worst by far out of all the headlice shampoos I have tried. I only brought it because of all the high star ratings but as soon as I opened the bottle to do my hair the eucalyptus smell was way too overpowering and i should have known better but I thought I'd try it anyway. I put it on my hair and massaged it in, my head… Read more
felt hot and the smell was too strong it messed with my eyes. I didn't have it on for the full 15 minutes because I just couldn't handle it. I am hoping the headlice felt the same way too though but in the future I won't be using this product again

Great as long as used to instruction – I think it’s great. My daughter (11) loves how shiny it makes her hair. She does it without fuss because of the outcome. Makes scalp feel so clean and hair so silky and shiny. Need to use as directed (use 3 times once every 7 days) so life cycle of eggs is caught so all killed. Only need to coat about an inch from scalp. Needn’t cover ends of hair… Read more
just cover near the scalp. Need to use a enough shampoo to dissolve oil in wash (twice) after application then works a treat. Need to have doors open as the smell of the natural oils are very strong but what makes it work. Watch eyes of course.
I recommend it. And have used it when required for the past 5 years since I found it as the kids catch lice on sleepovers usually!
Only thing that worked! – I had nits a while ago and it seemed impossible to get rid of them, my mum and I tried nearly everything, we combed through so many times and they still found away to come back. Finally I was recommended this by my boyfriend do I bought the product not expecting it to actually work because it seemed to simple. I put it in my hair once, following… Read more
all instructions and BAM they were gone and they haven’t come back since. this product never irritated my scalp and was very easy and a huge time saver as I didn’t even need to comb threw it. I highly recommend giving this product ago.
Works but not immediately – Treated the whole family. After drying the hair, used the lice vacuum device and found live lice in the bag. About half of lice were dead and half alive. Therefore, my initial thought was that the product did not work. However, after treating on day 7 & 14 (per instructions), there were no lice left. So my thinking is that the product must only… Read more
kills some lice immediately and dehydrate the rest leaving them to die later (or something like that). So the product works but the results are not immediate.

Dangerous product should be off our shelves – I bought moov sensitive as I have psoriasis thinking it will be a bit more gentle on my scalp. My scalp and neck broke out in a red rash. My eyes felt like I poured boiling water on them. I was up all night putting distilled water on them. I had to go th the Dr next day He said this shouldn’t happen Fromm a treatment. Not sure how this is aloud… Read more
to be sold on Australian shelves. My concern is parents that buy this potent product and apply it to their child’s head. Dangerous stuff
Worst product – Son said his head felt freezing while waiting the 10 mins I didn't understand how that could happen, tired it myself and it was like a freezing burn on my scalp couldn't even leave it the 10 mins washed it out and now have chemical burns on my scalp this product is not safe foe kids or adults Show details
Awful product – This product is disgusting. Leaves your hair so greasy. Washed my hair multiple times and it’s still feel likes it’s been coated in oil. I will never use this product again. Show details

Is a gd product for ppl with sensitive skin just make sure you shampoo twice before conditioner – Good product, does work, like the sensitive moov, clean hair after no oily affect Show details
Do not use – My 4 yo had lice for the first time and wanted a gentle product - her neck, behind her ears, upper torso and parts of her facdd Ed have come out in a rash. Second day on and the rash has spread near her eyes and her eyes are now puffy. Have switched to conditioner and comb should it come back. Using telecast and dermaid 1% to help relieve symptoms. Burns scalp – Burns scalp and the eucalyptus oil (which is main ingredient) is very strong. Very surprised that safe to use on head! I would not recommend this product and will not buy ego products in the future. Please remove from shelf as this is not safe. Show details
Terrible smell – I found this product to be not very effective in dealing with my kids’ head lice and the smell was overpowering. It also burned my daughter’s scalp and she cried when using it. I have found a metal tooth comb to be the best way to deal with the problem and stop them coming back. Show details

Dangerous to call it sensitive – Got some in my eye and ended up at the dr with a chemical burn on my cornea. Be careful of this product. It is sold as a safe product but is very easy to drip into eyes due to its oily base. Show details
Disgraceful – I treated my 11 year old daughter almost 2 weeks ago with this product and after 5 washes on the first day and daily washes since treatment, her hair still looks like she has been washing and conditioning with duck fat! Now to top it all off, the last couple of days she has the flakiest scalp. Her head looks like a lamington and her scalp is so… Read more
itchy (worse than when she had lice). I’m appalled this treatment is allowed on the shelves and will never recommend the product to anyone.
Worst I've ever used! Don't get it – Brought the sensitive solution to use on myself and three kids. Washed our hair 6 times and still greasy will need to wash it again at least twice more to get it all out. We have all had a reaction! Red blotches, burning itchy skin, rash to face, scalp, neck and what looks like cemical burns behind ears. I do not have sensitive skin nor two out of… Read more
three children. Highly disappointed in this product.
I will never use this again and will warn all others off it. Wish I read these comments prior to purchasing.
Not one nit was killed during treatment! – Don't waste your time or money using this product to get rid of nits... It does not work! Obviously natural essential oils are not good for treating everything. Terrible! Waste of money!
Don't use this – This product doesn't work. Followed instructions, live lice still crawling around. Almost impossible to wash out. Covered my head in conditioner. Left for 1 hour. Combed with nit comb. Got rid of the nits and this horrible product.
BURNED THE SCALP – Killed the lice and nits. But the smell was so strong and over powering. My son felt very ill for a couple of days afterwards. His scalp was burned. Will never use MOOVE again.
Doesn't work! Nits keep returning – I use the shampoo version of this product. My youngest has persistent nits despite months of using this product now. As other reviews said, it kills live nits but does not kill the eggs & I believe very small nits also survive. It's an expensive & time consuming process to have it never fully work & the problem remain. In fact, I think the… Read more
nits have built up a resistance to this product & seem to flourish regardless of use.
Currently looking elsewhere for a solution.....
THIS PRODUCT IS RANK – This treatment was TOTALLY awful. it made me want to sell my scalp to satan. Those little nitty things just hung around after this chat treatment. I gave my friend that I dont like nits and i recommended this product cause it is so bad. chat chat chat
Didn't kill the eggs – Used it exactly as per instructions and found that it seemed to kill the nits but certainly didn't kill the eggs. Small nits in the kids hair when we checked 3 days later

Ego Moov Headlice Treatment – Ego Moov lice treatment was terrible, live lice remained when checking hair two days later. Has a very strong eucalyptus smell and irritated the scalp. It did not work at all.... followed the instructions to the letter and combed for lice after application. It seemed to kill or stun the large live lice but must had no effect on the eggs at all. … Read more
The lice deterrent spray is mostly just alcohol and very drying and irritating to the scalp - it has a horrible smell and takes your breath away upon application. I feel both these items are a massive waste of money, and both ended up in the bin :(
Works, with side effects – We used this for our first ever lice treatment since I was a kid in the 90's and it worked very well. My dd had at least 30 adult lice, with hatched eggs and unhatched eggs in her hair when we first discovered the infestation and then treated it. After the first treatment we didn't have any further issues, and were very relieved. I treated myself… Read more
once mainly out of paranoia. We treated her once more before we were satisfied.
However, 3 weeks later and she and I have since developed flaky and inflamed scalps which is not fun either. We have sensitive skin and I thought that Moov would be the best product since we already love the insect repellent, but sadly our reactions have dampened our enthusiasm for the brand.
My son doesn't have skin issues and he has been fine since the treatment.
It may be ok for some sensitive people, but I'll be looking for and hoping for a more gentle alternative if we ever have to treat lice again.
I'm extremely glad I didn't have to use this on my toddlers head, as he's still got some cradle cap and I don't want to imagine the issues that would have been caused on him.
No wonder we keep getting it – I spent weeks applying this to my scalp, mostly because the other one burned it, made it itch even more, have me a reaction, etc. My hair is still oily after weeks and i keep getting them!!! I might need to resort to... the comb. But I shouldn't have to, right? This IS a lice treatment. In conclusion, do not buy, and moov onto another product. Also I'm in sixth grade and I can't tell anyone for social reasons. :P
Lice are resistant to this product – I have to agree with the other reviews here. Lice appear to be completely resistant to this product and it really is a waste of money. I applied the Moov treatment for my daughters' head lice exactly according to the directions, and applied a follow-up treatment to deal with any lice that had not hatched during the first treatment. All this to… Read more
have the lice return about a week later. This has happened at least 3 times and I'm looking for another product that can do the job.
Waste of $25 – Wish I'd read the reviews here before I listened to my chemist and bought this garbage! 6wks and as many treatments later and the kids still have nits. Our whole family has been treated, I've washed all linen and bed sheets, taken all the necessary measures and read the instructions carefully before applying. Nits hung around like a bad smell. … Read more
And speaking of bad smells, this stuff reeks to high heaven too.
What an absolute waste of $25. Can't believe Ego is still producing this in light of the unanimous reviews on this site.
Worlds worst head lice treatment !! – This is the worst ever headline treatment of all time. Used it on my daughters hair, worst decision I could ever make this product is a huge waste of money. It burned the crap out of my daughters scalp left it all red and it was bleeding. But that's not it after her hair dried it looked like she had poured a bucket of vegetable oil on her head.… Read more
She has washed hair hair and scrubbed it over 15 times in the last 3 days and the oil is still there. What a piece of crap and waste of money, would not recommend this product at all. Her hair now is falling out when I brush it and I've never been more angry at a product in my whole life. Trust me do NOT buy this product.
Not good! – Love the regular Moov product (in the green bottle) but my daughter didn't like the tingling so I switched to the sensitive version. What a mistake! It's nothing but oil, basically I paid $20 for the same result I'd get from a $2 bottle of vegetable oil. It won't wash out and now I'm reluctant to use our Robicomb in case it breaks it. I also now have oil marks all over my grey couch.
Disgusting – I care for disabled children in a community where headlice treatment is a part of the routine. I used Moov Sensitive on the head of one of my kids. He is wheelchair bound and finds the shower a very uncomfortable experience. When I got around to washing it out, it, well... didn't. I thought perhaps it was because his showers have to be quick… Read more
and I wasn't thorough enough. Until I tried it. I have scrubbed my hair with soaps, shampoos, and even dish soap. Still oily.
What's more is that it didn't even kill the lice. This product is not worth the money you spend or the time it takes to put it on. Definitely not worth the time it takes to wash out (still trying).
What in the hell? – Shortly after use, my son broke out in an allergy rash all over his face and neck!!! So much for 'Sensitive' I had to shower him more then once to get it all out the stuff was going everywhere! I will be returning the product today!
Waste of money – Followed directions did this for 6 weeks tormented my child. Lice kept coming back. Waste of time & money. Bought NITWITS worked first time and nits gone for good. Moov has awful odour as well.
Burning itching and rashes!!! – For the $$ I paid, and being told by the packet that it was good ingredients, I had high hopes. My daughter and I nearly choked from the fumes trying to wash out. It hurt her eyes. It killed the nits but it also has burned her scalp, and it has caused a rash on her face and around ears/back of neck. I am disgusted and will be contacting them directly. I highly caution against using. Wish I had read reviews prior to buying.,
Washed out live lice – Purchased this product with pharmacy advice. Never used treatment before so 3 kids I went with natural for sensitivity. Smell is strong, irritates head and washing out fumes are powerful with steam it burns eyes. Followed advice on package. First wash done not successful. Next day live lice near wispy hair on forehead. Washed again. Left for… Read more
25mins and combed in and good massage as well. Spent hours with a combed and live lice came out! How can lice still be alive with the treatment.! I washed every item including car seats. Used another non smelling, chemical base product that was expensive but worked amazingly. It was oily and easy to comb after. Hair felt silky. No problems since. I would NOT recommend this. So much money spent and time I didn't have with Ego. I'm sharing as we go in blind sometimes and people can sell us anything with the idea of safe. The natural product was more harsh on the hair the NYDA product I purchased was fantastic I could hug the pharmacy assistant from the next pharmacy as she gave such great education on lots of products and let me make the decision. $30 for the treatment but only needed one bottle for 3 small heads when the box said for 1 treatment. It spread so easy and the applicator was a great addition. Busy mum with 3 kids it worked a treat.!
Worst treatment – My 7 yr old son had some go in his eye and now has a chemical burn in his eye. Not very good for sensitive!
