Quite sketchy! – Renting add space to imply you are an energy provider, answering the phone like you are the energy retailer untill you realised I was in need of customer service then you clarified you weren’t actually a energy retailer and just a energy broker. Very dodgy.

Very poor experience – Contacted them to research better deals for electricity & when I requested to contact them back to calculate comparing to my current rate, i was informed they couldn't email me details to call them back on & then hung up on my call. I am aware that this is not the behaviour of all employees however left a very sour taste in my mouth! Show details

Stalking people to use their products! Not cool! – Yesterday for no reason this company felt the need to call me form 2 numbers 5 times. If you where a possessive ex I would call the police with that many contacts.

Use only for comparison, don't organise through them – I called these guys on Monday 29-April-2019 to get electricity connected on Friday 3rd-May. I was told a visual inspection had to be done, so they then supposedly requested / organised to get all done through PowerShop. Saturday comes, I move into the apartment and there is no power. called out of office hours. That's issue no1, no 24/7 support. I call PowerShop and I get the same message on the phone. I call Energex and thankfully they have weekend support. They tell me there was no inspection or power request submitted for the property and the next opportunity this could be done would be Tuesday next week as Monday is a holiday (labour day). So i spent 4 nights sleeping in a motel because I need power for my phone work laptop and hot water, and just livelihood in general. I've spent $500+ on accommodation because of this mishap. On Monday i get a call from ElectricityWizard to follow up on my weekend call, and they say they can no find any connection request submission with PowerShop. Wow. I really don't know what to say about this guys. I'm seriously considering compensation for the accommodation costs I incurred because of this. Please resolve this. I have already organised with AGL as they had 24/7 support. Convenience over cost anytime. I have attached my 28 minute long phone call with ElectricityWizard. Please resolve this, ive incured big expenses, inconvenience, and not to mention stress caused by ElecWizard.

Excellent service without being pushy – The agent(Ace) took her time in calculating an estimate of my next winter gas bill based on my last year's usage in detail instead of just giving me a ball figure. I have rung up a few companies and my current supplier and they just wouldnt do it as it is too much work for them!! It makes it so much easier for a customer to compare and make a decision. Well done for your customer service Ace. You were professional, patient and very sweet.

Service with a smile – Michey aka Michael was very patient in clarifying or repeating when needed and informative of my options. There was a very pleasant humanity about him and he even seemed to enjoy my humor. I had already been looking for an alternate energy provider, but with more than an hr on hold, but the response to my email reply was practically immediate.

Rude staff, terrible service – Called to ask about the prices. One of the female customer service reps asked for all my info, tried sign me up and called me a 'bellend' when I told her I did not want to proceed.

A 1 minute phone call turned into a 9 minute phone call when I was away on holidays – I was away on holidays when I recieved a call to upgrade my electricity contract. suggest saying 5-10 minutes of your time. This is honest and truthful. And does not leave your customes angry and frustrated at the end of the call. I would also suggest listening to your customers when they say it's gone longer than they stated at the start of the call. The customer is always right. And we also have lives, like holidays. Thankyou for reading this review and I hope you can improve your services and start listening to your customers.

Spammers and an unnecessary service – Started receiving spam emails from them out of nowhere. I thought I'd check things out online myself to see if there was any benefit. You have to give your phone number to see any results and they call you INSTANTLY. So now you have spam emails and spam calls. The only reason I didn't give 1 star is because they do actually give some comparison… Read more

rates and could save you money if you aren't already comparing services that you pay for (which is crazy - you should do this at every contract renewal for everything). At the end of the day though, at end of contract, just call your current provider and they will almost certainly just change the rates anyway, without all of the annoying spam.

Value for money! – One phone call, spoke to Amanda Synanidis, she knew all the facts and answered every question, and I am saving money. Under this new plan I am receiving 15 cents per KW for my solar feed-in compared to 8.5 cents from my current supplier as of Jan 8 2021

Unwanted emails – I have contacted wizard by email and phone on a number of occasions to stop getting email ads from them. Still they keep coming despite assurances they will stop. I can guarantee that I will not use wizard under any circumstances and I am very vocal against this company whenever I am in a discussion on electricity. They stop..I stop. Until they do I will continue to vent my anger when talking to prospective customers of wizard. Bill O'Donnell

I found Ola to be exceptional in dealing with me. Politeness is so welcome these days – For once I found it a pleasant experience when speaking with a sales/support team on any matter. If I have the person's name correct it is I believe Ola - was even happy to answer my question in relation to another matter. Rare for such a personal approach.

Waste of time – I was searching earlier this year at the start of COVID for a potential better deal on my electricity. After following advice from these guys I ended up swapping retail providers only to discover my bills were actually MORE thereafter ongoing. Very annoyed and complete waste of time. I have just ended up going back to my original provider ‍♀️

Lies to get my business – when calling them I gave my exact rates and discounts for electricity (47%) and gas (29%) They said with their plan I would save up to $100 on my electricity bill if I make the switch. my current provider and was lied to by electricity wizard to get my business. The new provider took over my account before the due date Now my electricity is stuck with another company and I have to wait to have my account returned to my original provider. I am furious Never again will I deal with electricity wizard.

Feedback on customer service – Oliver Grose provided information in a timely & professional manner. His initial email response was followed up by a detailed analysis of market comparisons & there was no pressure applied to customer decision making. Also, he provided a follow up option.

Ridiculous!!! Waste of my time. Offer 28% off in QLD but then say "Can't compare in QLD" – Yes! You read it correctly. Their 'Ad' says "28% Off in Qld" but I live in Qld and I tried to use this service to compare electricity rates, but all I got was a 'drop-down' that said "We can't compare in your area". Why do they advertise that they can and then they can't? False advertising. Wasted my time. Use someone else.

Helpfull deciphering electrical provider issue – Tom listened to my problem and quickly in lay terms explained my options to have the cheapest provider in Qld for electricity. He clearly provided information on the company and price structure that would suit my needs and made it easy for me to make a decision to connect the service.
