Best purchase for 2018 for me – Can’t believe I waited so long to get a cordless vacuum! I have been lugging around the Dyson (cord) and all the parts. I was having to carry it so it doesn’t mark our hard floors or the doors so needless to say I hated vacuuming! Now I love it -and do it twice a day after we eat ,so it’s mainly for the kitchen but on a full charge I can do… Read more
the bedrooms as well.
It seems to last for ages so I know I can clean where I want .
I actually enjoy cleaning even though it isn’t the lightest thing to push around but it feels sturdy and of good quality.
My parents had an Electrolux for 30 yrs and only got rid of it because I told them to move with the times even though there was nothing wrong with it-so I know it’s a good brand .
It’s also has little lights so u can see under furniture and get all the dust u can’t see usually.
I was static wiping then wet wiping the floors twice a day in between a proper vacuum -Over that !
So now I can easily just grab it whenever I need , it’s all set up in the charger ready to go.
I don’t know why the reviews aren’t better ,I hope it doesn’t suddenly break down .
Best $250 I have spent I don’t think I want to use my normal vacuum again .
Pet hair – I wanted something light and rechargeable that I could pick up pet hair with quickly on a daily basis. This one isn’t to bad, I have timber floors mostly and it works well on those. It’s not so effective on my older carpet, but I’m sure when I get a modern low pile carpet installed it’ll do the job well enough. It serves the purpose well when I want to give the floors a quick clean Show details
Easy to use – Bought this 3 weeks ago. works really on the tiles. Cordless is a win. Save me so much time to clean the floor. it is ok for carpet. But can be better. Tried to used the handset to vacuum my car, but it wasn't quite satisfying. Battery life is good. But for some reason it loses power itself if you don't use it for a few days. Show details
Very disappointed – Was happy with the vacuum for a start but diapointed that the battery doesn't hold its charge for long. I've had it since January 2016. It's mainly used on carpet floors & I used to get 20-25 min vacuuming but now only get 10-15 min at most. It's the 2nd one I've had but the 1st one was a different model. Show details
Had this for 20 months and it works just like new – I had this vacuum for nearly 2 years and the battery is still doing great job. A fully charged battery will get it runs for 30mins enough for me to clean up my 3 bed rooms house. Vacuum my kitchen with tile floor is so easy that the brush roller almost pickup all the tiny bits of rubbish or food left on floor. I am happy with this product, I… Read more
am glad that i didn't pay 3 times more for an expensive Dyson product which may still doing the same job great.
Battery wont keep charged – This product worked well for the first few months and did the job perfect was really rapped in the product but about a month ago I had noticed the battery wasn't lasting any longer than 2 mins,as I was given this item as a Christmas present, I'm now very disappointed that it hasn't lasted long at all considering it didn't get used every day I now… Read more
feel the company should either replace the item or offer a refund to the customers who have purchased this item would love a new one but am thinking of going to another brand.
Battery life good. Filter and dust capacity too small – Easy to move around but suction was be tad weak once the dust starts to fill the container. Emptying the dust can be depressing as I try to avoid getting in contact... using gloves, masks and goggles to empty this sucker... this is most annoying thing about bagless vacuum cleaners! Battery – I have two the same, first one only 18 months old and failed. I had the batteries tested and told all ok but only runs for short time and stops got quoted $150 for new head from Godfreys they weren't interested in testing only wanted to sell new vac. Very poor dealership. Show details
Pretty good considering – The on/off button on the hand unit was always a bit funny. And would work intermittently. I put up with this for a long time but a few months before warranty was due, I took it in for a service. They thought they fixed it the first time but the problem continued. I took it back and Electrolux agreed to replace the hand unit. It has worked… Read more
brilliantly ever since. Its basically a new machine now and works like one. I find its good for all light work. I use a bigger unit for some parts of the house.
I dont like the hand unit so much as the end isnt the right shape. I find it a bit awkward, its too square or something.
I would buy one again.
Great - until the battery packs up – This is a disgraceful product. A cordless vacuum should be able to hold charge. Like other reviews, ours is less than 2 years old and basically now an ornament. Very disappointed. For the first year or so it did what you'd expect, and was very handy. Then the charging stopped happening. Built in obsolescence? Show details

Ergorapido ZB3013 Won't hold Charge!! – Bought this hand held vaccum over a Dyson. Seems like the biggest mistake. Battery doesn't hold charge. After charging for 12 hours I only get 3 minutes of vacuuming. What good is that! You would think after paying $$$ for a li-ion hand held vacuum they would last longer than 15 months! Anyone out there thinking of getting this, think again and get a Dyson. Cause I will.... Apparently Electrolux knows that the batteries are faulty. Show details

15 months later - no longer charges – Loved this vacuum until it just died out of nowhere recently. Realised it just wasn't able to fully charge any more. Can only hold enough power to vacuum for 20 seconds at best. Have tried contacting Electrolux with no response received after 6 business days (their return email states someone will reply within 2 business days). Poor service and… Read more
not happy with product. I think I read somewhere the warranty was 2 years for vacuums (could be wrong), but this lasted only 14 months. Would never purchase an Electrolux product again and have decided to upgrade to a Dyson stick vacuum instead.

Short life span – Hi. I purchased an electrulux vacuum cleaner on the 4/09/2014. While it was in warranty i took it a repairer because of a burning smell when in use and engine speed fluctuations. It still wasn't 100% now it doesn't work. I don't expect items to last like they used to but just over 2 years is poor. It never got used much so we just put up with… Read more

I just then tried it again expecting a miracle but then it made a terrible noise and now the motor goes but the impeller doesn't spin (no sucking).

The perfect machine with a short life for price – Have been very happy to date although now it seems to run out of battery charge very quickly after being on the charger for the whole night you can only vacuum for 2 to 3 minutes when it was new would easily do the whole hose. it was quite an expensive vacuum and I would have expected more from such a well-known company any information would be much appreciated Show details
Do not buy this – Started out great...worked like a charm. Lite and easy to use. Easy to clean the filter. Don't have to bend over to vacuum the floor. Now...barely a year after purchase actually, it started to die after 5 minutes of use. Now I am lucky to get 2-3 minutes of use. Very frustrating. I don't typically write reviews online - but this situation… Read more
calls for it.
I bought this unit because of the brand name. We had an Electrolux growing up and I inherited it when we bought a new vacuum for my parents. So I thought this had to be great and didn't think to check the review. Had I did my good consumer research beforehand I would not have purchased this. I don't like to buy disposable, cheaply-made products. That is what this is. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. Don't fill a landfill -send it back to Electrolux.
18V Li-ion Battery Won't Hold A Charge – I was initially happy with the 2in1. I think it is an excellent idea. Unfortunately the battery stopped holding a reasonable charge after about 12 months. I only get about three minutes use out of it now before it dies. I don't use it very often so i definitely don't feel like I got value out of it. Show details

18V Li-ion Battery Couldn't hold its power after 6 months of use – Bought it in Nov 2015, and the battery could last for about 35 mins of use on full-charge. However, as time passes by, the battery looses its capacity to hold its power, and now (after 6 months) it could only last 5 mins or less. Can't even vacuum a small bedroom! Show details

Did not go the distance – I paid for half and the other half was given to me as part of a goodbye gift. It was great for the first 6 months until the battery started to fail. The unit would only run for 2 minutes on high and then cut out completely, it's now pretty much useless. Can't even get the battery replaced as you have to buy the actual handheld unit (which is super… Read more
expensive) and even so there is no replacement stock available from the Electrolux spare parts department. I love the idea if this stick vacuum, it's handy and so easy to use but the poor design makes this an unreliable and disappointing product. There are so many bad reviews about this vacuum, I have no idea why I bothered with this vacuum even though I knew it had a bad reputation with the battery life. Really disappointed with Electrolux for not rectifying this battery problem sooner and still continuing to release the same product that is guaranteed to fail within 12 months. Will be sticking to Dyson next time.

Comes with everything you will need. Simple to use. Better than expected and good battery life and p – We looked at the Dyson which is a large heavy and bulky unit and not to mention a price which is higher than a new Miele ! So our Electrolux is for quick vacuuming which it performs extremely well and is small enough to fit into all the tight spaces when using in the car or caravan. Very easy to use, good battery life with the 18v Lithium battery… Read more
and a great design with the spinning brushes and led lights. 1/3 of the cost of the Dyson and in many ways a lot more practical.
If you simply want a go to ready unit that will do the car, house [ carpet, tiles and wooden floors ] that's good value look no further. Had the unit for just over a year and no problems at all. we use it daily.
The perfect vacuum for a small living area – I have had this vacuum for six months, using it a couple of times a week in a one bedroom apartment with low pile carpet and a tiled kitchen. Overall I'm very happy with the performance of the unit in both the stick and handheld configurations. The suction is good - I find I'm easily filling up the internal bin if I do a comprehensive clean of… Read more
the whole house.
The machine holds a charge well, and I have never had it run out while vacuuming, although I have also never used the unit continuously for more than ~20 minutes. I have found the vacuum light and easy to maneuver around furniture, and it can flatten out to reach underneath our bed. The lights on the front of the head make it easy to see anything you may have missed in a dark area. Converting it to handheld is done with one button, and it is easy to click back into place. The unit comes with an extended, brush-tipped nozzle for use with the handheld section, and this is useful for getting into crannies around the car or kitchen.
The internal dust bin is quite small, but fortunately it is just big enough for me to be able to do a thorough vacuum of my apartment in one go. If you are going to be vacuuming two bedrooms plus the living, dining and kitchen areas, you may have to pause vacuuming to empty the dust bin before continuing. Emptying the dust bin and cleaning the filter are easy. The the outer filter is a standard mesh shield, and the soft inner filter component includes a spring-loaded pull-tab, allowing most dust to be flicked away by pulling and releasing the tab a few times. The string/hair cutter appears ineffective, however I don't have much need for it in my situation so I can overlook that feature. The Ergorapido appears very safe for children, and is not too noisy to run.
I would definitely recommend this unit for a couple or small family in an apartment. It may be of use to a family in a large (e.g. 3+ bedroom) house as a secondary vacuum, but I would only recommend going down that route if you already have a good barrel or upright vacuum.
Rubbish! – The product worked well for the first few months and appeared to do the job exactly as promised. It had reasonable suction and was easy to clean. About a month ago I realised the battery would last less than 5 minutes. Over the next 4 weeks it has deteriorated to the point where it will remain on for less than 20 seconds. Considering the price of this vacuum, I am very disappointed.

Really pleased with the performance – Bought this one seven months ago and use it more than my $600.00 Meile. I like everything about it, it's quick and easy to use, battery is lasting very well, well designed. It has a hair cutter for the roller but that does not seem that effective, just as easy to remove the roller and pull the hair out. We were both very surprised to see how… Read more
much it picked up even after vacuuming first with the full sized Miele.
One downfall I did find is when you remove the hand vac from the unit it will no longer stand upright.
I have since bought two more units, both ZB3004 Models. One for my Mum who absolutely loves it and another for our son.
All three units have been different prices ( $229.00 $211.00 and $149.99 NZ ), it pays to shop around to get the best possible price.
MAKE sure you check the model before you buy! We did not realize that some models like our white ones DON'T have the charging lights on the hand held unit so you can't tell how much charge the unit has. Really annoying to tell the truth.
Just hope the batteries last!!
It was a gift,,It's so handy with no cords etc, lights for seeing under things and can take hand hel – As above, its a mighty machine, my regret is that I didn't buy one sooner It's light and a total alrounder, if anything should happen to it ,I,d have no hesitation in buying another one They have a good suction and the spinning brush gets everything of carpet ,even pet hair
Absolutely terrible!! – Okay i bought this as it looked very good for a small apartment. No longer will i ever trust electrolux again after my first time experience. It worked for 5 mins, then wouldn't charge, and no longer works. Worst product i've spent my savings on, i severely suggest others to steer clear of this brand.
Battery problem – Pros: Perfect device. Used by ma wife every day. Bought on December 2014. In the beginning and always till 2 months ago it was able to operate about 20 minutes on full power. Currently we don't know what happened but battery is able operate less than 3 minutes. Device is fully charges, after 2 minutes of use battery indicator shows that battery is empty and device stops.

2 Years Battery Life Is Not Enough – Bought for my mum & she loved it as it was very easy for her to push around. for her now vacuum every fortnight. This product cannot be considered as a replacement for a full size vacuum.
But literally one week & two years on, the battery fails to take any charge. And yes, the warranty is 2 years and yes, Electrolux refused to consider a good faith claim and advised warranty was only valid from the date of the invoice. That is pathetic for $131 appliance.
Note: the Ergoradio 2 in 1 vacuum actual model is unknown as the appliance is at mum's house.
Great to have again! – I bought the original Electrolux Ergorapido 12V about 6 years ago & loved it! We got a great 4 years use & then the charge would only last for a couple of minutes. Now finally we have bought the newer version which is 18V & I must say so far just as happy as when we bought the original. It's great to whip around the floors to pick up the… Read more
everyday mess. I've seen there have been some bad reviews however I don't have a bad word to say about this stick vacuum! Just a note I wouldn't buy one of these & expect it to thoroughly clean my carpet, I still use my Miele vacuum every week for that. We paid $199 from Harvey Norman at Gepps Cross, I just couldn't justify spending $500-$600 for the same thing with another brand. The only thing Electrolux could do with this product is make it easier & cheaper to replace the battery.
December 7th 2018 Update: Ergorapido is perfect for this family
I have had 2 previous models of the Ergorapido stick vacuum & each one lasted about 3 years before the battery gave up. I was talked into purchasing the Vax Verso last time due to the motor being better. The first one was returned as it was spitting the fluff back out onto the floor & they said they never heard of any problems & to swap it over & try again. So we took another Vax home but again after a month I kept going over the same bits on the floor as it wouldn't pick up properly, I'd had enough & returned it for a full refund.
I couldn't get to Good Guys fast enough to purchase my new Ergorapido! We have a standard sized 3 bedroom house & each day it's used to quickly run over carpet in lounge & bedroom & then tiles in entrance, kitchen, dining & hall. It never misses a beat & picks up everything even along the walls which the Vax always left behind. It's easy to empty which I do every other day & as I have long hair it's super easy to get the roller out & cut the hair off. I still use my Miele vacuum every week to properly clean my carpets but for me Ergorapido is a perfect fit for a quick daily clean & I won't be talked into another machine again.
Beware of your battery warranty – I bought this vacuum 8 months ago, I bought it because I liked the previous model. Whilst the ne model has a few good features I found it didn't vacuum as well as the previous model. After 7 months the battery stopped charging and I was unable to use it, it has been sent off for repair but in the meantime I wrote to Electrolux with my issue and… Read more
asked if they could refund the cost as I was not happy.
I was then advised by the customer service person that the battery warranty is only 3 months. I was a little surprised as it is such a major component of this vacuum yet the minimum amount of time that you may get is just over 3 months and Electrolux believe that this is fair for a battery. Considering the vacuum costs over $300 if after such a small amount of time the battery dies you may be up for the cost of replacement.
To top it all off after a few emails later I also stated that I thought that was unacceptable, but was advised I should consider a corded option! Such is the state of customer service in Australia. They don't appreciate the consumer and they don't understand that sometimes it is about goodwill.
Anyway my review is that the machine is not as good as the previous model and the battery warranty is not good.
