Perfect fridge, problem free since new, A+++ – This fridge has been great in every way, only repair since new was a new light globe. It's quite and as power is so expensive this was a great cost cutters from our last model. I have saved on average $68- per bill since we bought this fridge. It's already paid for its self, then some. Recommend. Only problem is if you scratch it it flakes away, it is old so can be expected.
Purchased in at The Good Guys Online store for $900.

Truly awful!! – ETM3900SB-R: Simply opening the door without unusual force, causes the dairy compartment lids to fall out, needless to say, one is already broken. The stainless steel is supposed to be non marking for fingerprints, unfortunately mine is not, with small children, my fridge looks like the CSI team has dusted for prints! And now my fridge which is almost 2 years and six months to the day, has decided that keeping things in the freezer frozen, and the fridge cool, is not part of its job! Brilliant, everything spoilt! Now as the fridge only has a two year warranty, I will see how I go trying to get it repaired, as the average lifespan of a fridge is 13 years, it is my opinion those 2 years is unreasonable for such a failure. For the first 2 years it did keep things cold Expensive; yet cheaply made. Dairy compartments regularly falls out, and of course eventually breaks. Shortly after the warranty expires, in comparison to the expected lifespan, problem with the thermostat, and all my food spoils.
Excellent – I'm really happy with the fridge, it wasn't that expensive, around the $790 mark for the 420L. Id buy another one for sure and definitely would tell friends to take a look at Electrolux if they were looking for a new fridge. I got the white one, not too sure what the stainless would be like for cleaning though. Anyway, definitely would recommend you at least take a second look, you won't regret it. Support Australia, buy Electrolux. The over all build of this fridge is fantastic. With thick tempered glass shelves, if there are any spills, quick and easy to clean up, also easy to remove if needed. The left side within the fridge has a indent to allow for taller bottles if you have the shelf on the top bracket. The over all appearance of the fridge is high quality and doesnt feel like it will fall apart. The crisper is of a high quality plastic and keeps fruit and veg fresh with the little air intake vent to allow or block moisture. It has wheels as well, so you can pull it out and clean behind and underneath. pretty light to move around with no hassle. Top mount freezers are all the same, limited space. The ice holder can be a little fiddly and annoying, but it's not too bad.
I tried to take off one of the cheese lids for cleaning (I split something on it) and thought I'd give it a soak. When I went to take it off, the hinge of it snapped. First time Ive taken it off and *SNAP*. Ive put it down to the coldness, however wouldnt have expected it to break first time. It was $25 to replace, not via Electrolux as they were too expensive. Go to a independant place to get parts.
