other plumbers who, when phoned, would not give pricing or said that their technician would quote once it was clear what needed to be done. Ember's plumbers were well-dressed and polite. Their van was neat and organised. I'd use them any time.

HWS failed on a Saturday. Called Ember. Tech quoted $450/hour! Very offputting. Called Monday, given a time for Tuesday to replace HWS (more gritted teeth). Pleased with techs efficiency/politeness. Unimpressed with out of hours labour rate. Also, this business does not issue receipts - you must request them. Given that charges can be in the thousands of dollars, am very surprised such a courtesy is not standard practice.

Love that I was told exactly when the plumber would arrive and could track his arrival! Jack did a wonderful job and was very polite and took his shoes off before entering the house - so considerate in the wet weather! My mother in her 90's had her hot water system split and leak. Ember Plumbing were fully booked on the Friday but arranged an emergency attendance. As luck would have it, they had a cancellation and were able to fit the job in during normal hours. The plumber who attended was polite and very professional. I found them to be rude and unhelpful – I contacted Ember Plumbing to assist with a job. They replied essentially implying that they wouldn't fix another plumbers 'mistakes'. This was a renovation, things as you would expect pop up that you may require assistance with. The existing pipes (20yrs old) needed to be moved to fit a NEW cabinet. This was after offering assistance then not replying once information was sent/received. The above was received after I sent question marks.

Firstly. Could have stated the job was too big in the first place, rather than not replying than when they did, doing so with the above. Secondly. If they don't fix the work of any other plumbers, why are they in this field at all? How am I meant to know who the plumber was 20 odd yrs ago?

I wasn't impressed.

First Class Job, Very Reasonable Prices. Highly Recommended – Dylan and co installed new hot water system at best price. Excellent workmanship, very neat and clean. They subsequently detected an inaccessible gas leak, probably under the concrete floor, may have been leaking for years. Dylan then came back with team to run new gas pipes to all points, tested and approved by gas authority. His 1st visit was to confirm my 15 year old hot water system needed replacing, so he wrote out a detailed quote and organised a date to install. He did a great job and I highly recommend him. Also, the electrician Dylan used was good. Luke let me know that the previous electrical work I'd had done in the ceiling didn't meet regulations, so I could follow that up.
