Hi, l have just purchased this cooker brand new from The Good Guys. I used the oven for the first time tonight only to find out that the fan was forcing the heat straight out the top of the door while it was closed firmly? I will be contacting Glem tomorrow morning but am wondering if this is something common? I cant use it to cook at all.

Hi jane, what your experiencing with the oven is extremely unusual, I've never had that type of problem with our oven but it may as well be blowing hot air from the front door as the knobs get extremely hot when the oven is being used, good luck with trying to get the problem rectified

yes its like it has no seal at all and almost as if no door is on it....but only at the top of the door tho the sides and bottom are fine, l tested it all with a tissue.

Well, l learnt this model has a front vent for the cooling fan whereas l was used to a back top vent. So buyer beware if you live in a hot climate it will limit the seasons you can use your oven ....

Id like to know if its normal for the front edge of the oven in front of the trivets to get very hot . Almost burn your hand hot when the oven is being used for baking.

Hi John I'm glad you brought that up cause I forgot to add that in my description, yes the front edge and knobs of the oven get extremely hot even if you have the oven fan running it makes no difference, this is a serious safety hazard and Emilia should look into this problem. Hope this information was useful...
