change does not work, I was told that all 3 units (downstairs living room, 2 upstairs bedrooms) have to be on the same mode. Would have been great to know that before I made the purchase... DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS OR THIS PRODUCT

Difficult install, great result – The installers of our new Heat Pump hot water system did an exceptional job. Our home is on a steep slope and accessing the location of the hot water system requires navigating approximately 50 steps. Very Nasty Company – Further to my previous review. Energy Makeovers' Customer Support did nothing at all to fix any of the issues we are having with the installation of the heat pump. I had to call the manufacturer (Ecogenica), and they sent their technician who replaced a valve that should have been replaced during the installation, which improved the water pressure… Read more

and got rid of the loud banging sound. This valve is supplied by the manufacturer and is included in the installation package, but Energy Makeovers decided to save it for another job, not caring about the issues they created for us by their negligence and incompetence.... We still can hear a weaker hammering sound in the master bedroom wall where the heat pump is installed, that is related to the banging force that was applied by Energy Makeovers' technician on the pipes during the installation.

PATHETIC COMPANY - INFERIOR PRODUCT – Terrible workmanship. Weather strips were installed over the top of old weather-strips. They fell off within hours of being installed. More than 5 phone calls and email to the company and they have not bothered to get back to me. DO NOT LET THIS COMPANY ON YOUR PROPERTY. Show details

Would not recommend in any circumstances – The contractors created an absolute disaster of the heat pump hot water system, installing the condenser shoddily on a metal wall so that it woke us up at night. It took weeks and weeks to get the company to do anything about it. The contractors also lied and said that there was nothing they could do about it as the condenser only came with 500mm… Read more

of pipe .... instead of the 20m that it actually comes with. It could have been neatly installed out of view, but instead the guy they sent had to put it on the ground and I have subsequently had to pay $650 for further work tidying up the mess and trying to hide the condenser. Overall our experience is that this company leaves a lot to be desired in terms of their contractors and their customer service.

Shower head replacement – Replaced the shower head with another which fell off the wall. replaced that one with another used one he had in his bag. Dose not work properly but assured us a plumber would attend and affix the replacement one properly. Still waiting. Was happy with the original shower head. Show details

Booked 3 times, got cancelled 3 times last minute, possibly rorting government – This happened 3 times. 1) called the company's call center, got an appointment booked, everything looked fine at this stage 2) days later the appointment gets cancelled 1 day before the workmen are due to show up After 3 repeats of this, we just gave up setting up any more appointments. I suspect this company is a scam created to rort government funding. I suspect they charge the government for every appointment made, but send no one over.

Fast and efficient LED light installation – Call centre sometimes don't seem to know what they are doing so always get things confirmed with them but the young installer Rogelio was excellent, quick, efficient and friendly. Show details

Totally amateurish – The installer came in with only one suitable door seal for three doors. He was quite abrupt and was only interested in installing things even if it was obvious that they would not work eg. the shower head. He leftthe rubbish for me to clean up. Show details

Easy process start to finish – Energy Makeovers attended our site for an inspection shortly after I made phone contact and arranged for the changeover of our fluro lights to LED's in the office which didn't cost me a cent. Clear communication at every step with professional and courteous installation team arriving on time and meeting all my expectations. wanted fully functional dimming lights, and the first scheduled installation had to be rescheduled because the installer didn't turn up and didn't advise the call centre. Installer who ultimately did the job was great; friendly and efficient.

the person who installs represents the company – Really happy with the prompt service and the electrician who came to install my LED lights. got the government rebate as well. I was hesitant thinking $30 to replace all my 25 odd halogen down lights with free LED is too good to be true. the Electrician explained to me everything and even cleaned up with a box underneath all the light changes, that was a bonus being so neat and tidy coming to my unit. Show details
