Works very well. Efficient enough to work in winter
I've had my Envirosun thermo-siphon with E25 panels through a Sydney winter and am able to run our household of 4 off 100% solar for many, maybe most days. Way more productive/ efficient than my previous solarhart L. The E25 panels are I think about 20% bigger, but the quality of the tank insulation and installation (pipes, valves etc) insulation probably also helps. My electricity consumption is down consistently throughout the year, on many winter days down by 40%/ 10kWh consistently (excluding overcast days). To be fair the SolarHart's performance had no doubt deteriorated with age (about 15 years old). But the difference is huge. It's a big call, expensive kit, but it looks like the extra cost will payoff within about 4-5 winters

The supplier/installer is saying that it is because of the water that is causing this problem. !!!!
I have a Envirosun SHWS 300Lt Stainless Steel solar hotwater system. Does anybody else have problems with the booster burning out all the time. Let me know as this has happened eveytime there is a storm or bad weather. I had the system put in March of 2016 and by May of 2016 was the first time it blew and has continued ever since having to get it replace more than once each year. They are saying tha the warranty is only for 12months. They have replaced it without charge most of the time. The last replacement was in July and it has burnt out again. They will not replace it unless i pay for it. The ACCC say differently.
Just would like to know if it a fault with the system.
