No reply, cant get through on the phone.
Emailed an insurance question 20 days ago, still no reply. Spent 15 mins on hold trying to follow up - no answer so took the 'call me when I reach the front of the queue' option, 45 mins later and I'm still waiting for them to call back.
Time to move to a provider who values me as a customer, having the correct insurance in place is vital and I can't even speak to anyone about it!
They charge exorbitant fees, returns minimal. I tried to change super funds and it took 4 months and multiple attempts to prove my identity. Each submission was apparently incorrect or sent via wrong medium- it wasn't they just kept changing what was required. I would recommend moving from these frauds ASAP
Online access impossible
I'm an employer- one of my employees uses Equip super and I always have difficulty every quarter in paying her super. It would appear that every 3 months my login changes - their website changes and now they use a third party website for all super contributions - which has currently blocked my access - reason unknown - still awaiting a reply from them. I try to get all super payments in on time - all my other employee websites and access are easy and straightforward. Sending money to Equip is about as painful as root canal surgery and every 3 months I have to allow them 3 weeks to allow them to explain their "NEW" access procedure. A Total waste of time.
Poor online access
I have been equip super member since 2012 and I changed employer though staying with equip super so i get continuity of service and online statements, etc. To my surprise all the online account statements were unavailable as soon I changed employer, while still using equip. The only way to get your super transaction statement of previous employer is to call them and get it emailed. They charge loads of fee for the service but can't provide all online statements.
Longest claims process of all the superannuations!
Equip are currently making me send proof of address, a bank statement (when I've left the country!) and photo Id all whilst I'm out the country!!!
Just saying the call centre is ALSO only open 9-5 Monday to Friday just to make it easy to contact them while your working.
Easy to manage but..
High standard in reporting but asset switch and buy sell spread very high.. not suitable for those who actively manage their super investments. The flexibility of asset switch instantly is impressive. If they can reduce the fee I would not consider leaving them. Website is also well designed. Regards and Cheers!

I cant find anything for income protection or loss of income in equip super most other supers now cover this. Have i missed something?
