Use this always – Have used this for both babies now from week 1 till age 4! Love the front fwd/ hugging facing, and back carrying function! Have brought babies for hikes esp with back pack carrying no dramas. Insert is abit fiddly but can make do. Honestly find the side carrying abit pointless though. Unlike the Korean models, doesn't have zip/ pockets… Read more

(would have handy to keep phone/ debit cards).

I think all baby carriers are unique and fits differently to the carriers(adults) body. Husband and my physiques about the same so we are OK with this, but others might prefer other brands.

I'd recommend to try a few out n choose most comfortable

Can’t live without! – We have two ergo carriers and they are a good investment, our baby loves being carried facing forward. If your spending money on a baby product that you need it a good carrier! Absolute life saver! Show details

Very good! But the strip went off the rail – I used to love my Ergobaby four position 360 Mesh, but one day I was adjusting it in my back and the strip went off the rail, and I cant put it back. (I bought it in the USA, I dont have the purchase ticket and in my country they dont want to fix it) so I cant use it any more! So sad.. Show details

The ergonomic carrier – The Ergo 360 carrier meets all of my baby needs from birth. The carrier is high quality and sturdy. I used a second hand one and it went through the wash countless times and still looks brand new. I used it with my baby facing me at the front, facing away at the front, and then a rear carry. It takes a couple of practice runs to get the hang of… Read more

putting it on and getting the adjustment right. I'd highly recommend new users go to a kangatraining session where the instructor will be able to adjust it correctly. If it's not comfortable it's probably not set up right. I wore it to weekly kangatraining sessions, shopping, fishing and did a 5km fun run in it. It's particularly good in the early months to settle bub and brilliant for a refluxy baby that isn't comfortable lying down. There's a newborn insert available for smaller babies.

Horrible design – We've purchased an omni 360 and an easy snug infant insert for our second child. So, this is not the first time we are using a baby carrier. We had an old style baby bjorn for our first child which worked brilliantly. However, it is since not recommended to use those old style carriers. Hence we needed a new one. reading very good reviews about ergobaby we thought that we couldn't go wrong. However, we were terribly wrong!

As two highly educated people holding Master's degrees, for the life of us, we spent hours and hours of our precious time trying to make this carrier work. We watched the videos and read the instructions over and over again. Wearing this carrier would make rocket science a piece of cake in comparison. Utterly awful design! Shocking that it gets good reviews. It baffled us and distressed our baby horribly in the process of our many different trials over several different days. Surely making a baby carrier work should not need this many hours of study and failure in the end. It should simply work just like our old baby bjorn carrier.

I've been told by a helpful person that I may consider going to a baby wearing support group to get their assistance in wearing this immeasurably difficult device - spending even more time on it! Probably I'll have to study another Master's degree in order to learn the secrets of this carrier.

Sarcasm aside, we will be trying to sell it secondhand to another unsuspecting purchaser.

Good, but has some flaws – I got the 360 Cool Air after using the Ergobaby Performance for 8 months as my son kept trying to turn around in the carrier to see what was going on. I LOVED the Performance, and it was my #1 baby buy. Unfortunately, the 360 just isn't as good. First of all, it's not anywhere near as comfortable as the Performance, the waist band digs into me all… Read more ·  1

the time, and I've adjusted it as best as I could. It's a stiffer material and is uncomfortable for long periods. Secondly, baby's arms just stick out the sides behind the shoulder straps rather awkwardly and my son gets sooo frustrated that he can't bring his hands together or up to his mouth, etc. Third, there are no pockets on it like there is on the Performance so you can slip in keys/phone, etc. so I had to get a custom pocket, no biggie, but would've been handy if it was built in. Now you might notice the complaints I have are all compared to the Performance - otherwise it is a very good product. It's just not the best Ergobaby carrier there is.

well worth the money – I use to carry my baby son forward facing on his walks (he was very definite about being forward facing!) for 20-30 minutes at least twice a day (loves his walks) but I started getting tendonitis so it was time for a carrier (I was too scared too get one as a newborn as saw too many little noses against mum and was scared they weren't breathing… Read more ·  1

properly), anyway waited till my baby bunting emails said carriers were on special and found they were simpler to put on then the BB brand (only two clips to click). Life is much easier now! but I strongly recommend the following:

- buy two long lengths of eg grosgrain or satin ribbon eg 1.5 cm wide to attach to each side of the upper back clip. You can actually slide this back clip along the length of the arm straps to get it in the best supportive position for you but this is hard without the attached ribbons to pull it down to a comfortable position, and to pull it back up when you want to undo the clip to remove bubs.

- get it fitted with bubs at the baby store - they did a much better job than I did

- my son at four months is long but I still thought in the forward position he should sit a bit higher so I folded a hand towel in half long ways then rolled up and insert this under his bottom when I place him in the carrier. when strapped in I just make sure it is sitting comfortably and evenly under him. You can get a toddler insert but as he was four months I didn't want to bother with it.

- I always make sure he is wearing a fresh bib and place this over the carrier bib to soak up the drool. You can buy a bib attachment for the carrier but what I'm doing works for now - just need to check it as it rotates a bit with bubs looking all around!

- I bought the cool air mesh one as live in Brisbane. Currently November and he has not overheated in it but I definitely don't over dress him in it or walk in heat of day.

- there is a rain/sun baby hood zipped under carrier bib. There is room to insert a small bag for a key, money, tissues but I wouldn't have anything bulky in case it presses against bubs, or rubs/wears against baby hood.

- I always check in a long length mirror before going out that he is looking comfortable.

I did have concerns about forward facing at four months (did try him facing against me to much objection) - in forward facing the carrier buttons are to be put in a different position for better support and I asked a midwife who wasn't concerned. He certainly hasn't objected and the only effects I can tell are a bit of redness around arms and legs - same as if we were carrying a bag over our shoulder type thing ie not a concern. Ive often checked his face in a mirror to see he isn't overwhelmed forward facing and able to make eye contact with me - nothing but smiles or a cursory acknowledgement because there is so much to see! Sometimes after a long walk he even falls asleep because he is absorbing so much it tires him out!

Need it everyday! – I have used this for both my babies. I’ve used it a lot more for the second one and couldn’t live without it. The insert is great for newborns, then I just used the bum pillow from the insert until he was big enough for no insert. It’s easy to put on and adjust once you get the hang of it. I haven’t really used it on my back. After 2 years of… Read more

solid use the only wear and tear is a bit of fraying on the fabric that covers the back straps where the adjustable strap slides up and down. Doesn’t affect the usage though.

Horrible design for hip wearing – So frustrating as the shoulder strap constantly digs in the side of my neck while hip wearing even after the staff fitted me with it. Taking it back for a refund or swap for a better one. Very stiff material that makes it very uncomfortable to wear for longer than a few minutes.

Love it but the rail material tore off the rails after just 1.5 months – A friend purchased an Ergobaby 360 Cool Air for us as a gift and we absolutely love it. After only 1.5 months of using it sparingly, the material that covers the rails that the back/shoulder buckle strap runs up and down (that you adjust up and down depending on fit) came… Read more

loose. Since then, the rail is in parts bare, on both sides! I'm still using it but it doesn't fit as comfortably anymore obviously, which is so disappointing. Can't afford getting another one and probably wouldn't buy another one as I'd be afraid it'd happen again and my friend lost the receipt and bought it in Brisbane and I live in Sydney so can't see if it comes under warranty.

A must have for new parents – We originally bought this when pregnant with our first child on the recommendation of a friend, and by the time he was 1 we couldn’t live without it. everywhere. We loved the freedom it afforded us in being able to quickly navigate through crowds and shopping centres, being able to walk at our normal pace when out and about, and keeping handsy strangers at bay!

It sometimes felt a bit bulkier than other carriers, but he always felt 100% secure and had enough height and freedom to move when he needed to.

I would have loved a pocket in it somewhere to store my keys and a card when ducking out for quick trips, as it could get cumbersome wearing this and a purse, but overall a great product.

It’s the best baby carrier I’ve used – I love my ergobaby 360 carrier. I’ve had it for many years and have used it for two babies. you get the hang of it, my baby looks comfy and likes it better than the pram, the big waist strap makes gentler on my back compared to other carriers, cotton means the material is breathable.

The bad stuff: nothing serious really, the infant insert is annoying but absolutely necessary for this model - at least until bubba is 4 months old. If you can afford it, I’d say opt for the ergobaby omni 360 which doesn’t need an insert.

Very comfortable but tricky to put on with newborn and toddler – Very comfortable baby carrier. Excellent for forward or inward facing position. Too many steps for putting it on, tricky with newborn and toddler. Good value for the price. Very popular carrier. Machine washable. Great for keeping your hands free for shopping or doing jobs around the house. Very happy with our purchase.  Show reply

5 stars aren’t enough! – You can’t go past an Ergobaby! This carrier has been an absolute blessing for the past 3 months, I have used it everyday! It’s easy to use, my baby feels secure and I don’t have any back pain after use. I feel so confident with baby in the carrier and can get so much done with 2 free hands. I can’t recommend this carrier more - if you want free hands and a happy, settled baby then you can’t go past an Ergobaby!  Show reply

Good but not without flaws – I have a love hate relationship with this carrier. This carrier definitely saved my arms from being sore on many occasions as my baby only wants to be carried to sleep. Comfortable to use, but hard to teach others to use it – The carrier is really comfortable once on and baby seems to happy in it. Really nice as I can go about and do my things and baby feels close and sometimes even sleeps. However, it did take a bit of practice to put this carrier on with ease. Hubby wanted to try it on a day out, he got really annoyed trying to put it on. It wasn't an issue once i shown him how to do it correctly.

Poor design means product is ruined with only 2 months use – Material covering the "rails" that the shoulder fastener runs up and down is torn to shreds meaning rails are now bare and wearing out. The carrier is bulky and doesn't sit properly on shoulders no matter how you adjust it. The waist band digs in and doesn't sit flush at the front.

Great... unless you have narrow shoulders – I have a love-hate relationship with my ergo. It’s an absolute lifesaver with my little snuggle addict - easy to get on, Bub is ultra comfy (now is at 8 months, but we started at 3 weeks old and she loved it then too with the newborn insert), foolproof to adjust for my husband, and washable. matter how much I adjust it, the straps slip off. I’m constantly tugging them back on my shoulders. It’s gotten a little better as Bub has grown and her weight is spread over a wider area, but when she was smaller it drove me nuts, and it’s still not great - I’m contemplating buying another carrier with crossable backstraps for this very reason.

Can't fault this carrier – Comfortable and easy to use. Perfect for my Velcro-baby! It's adjustable so my husband or myself can use it, and it has multiple ways to use it depending on baby's age. My only negative is how hot it can be with baby against you in it, but would probably happen with any carrier.  Show 2 replies

Disappointed – Best and most utilised baby buys during my for my 1st daughter was ergo 360. I'm a sling loving mum and used the ergo 360 with an insert to begin with until she was 18 months. Loved this product from ergo baby. I now have a 3 month old and having moved to Australia using insert in this heat wasn't an option so I 1st bought the Adapt cool air mesh!… Read more

It looked a bit bulgy but not an issue. I tried around the house and found that the straps are much longer than the 360 and just won't sit properly on my shoulder. Little one hated it as well. Thought it could be something to do with the mesh, so I ordered the perl gray fabric one. It came look and feel of the fabric was much better than the mesh. I tried and found the same, straps are far too long and won't sit correctly on my shoulder. I tried the crisscross way, as this might be why the straps are longer in these new models. The cross bit sat right at the back of my neck! It was so uncomfortable and just not what I expected after having paid over $200 for it. After speaking to the online team, I went into the store to return these two, where I discovered the OMNI 360. Given I had used the 360 before and loved it I bought one as I desperately needed one that doesn't need an insert. Came home tried it and sadly, the strap issue again! Below is what I found with these new models(OMNI 360)

-No insert needed and Velcro to adjust seats, genius!

-Belt with buckle and lumbar support, AMAZING!

-Small purse in the front for your phone and keys, handy.

-Straps too long and rises up on shoulders once you buckle it. Disappointing!

- much hardest to buckle at the back v original 360 due to strap being too long.

-The carrier itself seems to be much longer than the previous 360 and my daughter, who is now 3 months and fits the specifications to sit on 3months positions with required height, she looks slumped in seat and the head rest is way above the recommended half ear level. You can only see the top of her head.

I red lot of reviews from those who were given these products to try by ergo and all of those reviews were good. I'm surprised no one had the issue I've faced! I'm going to have to return it (it's the 3rd one I bought all within last two weeks) as I can't be bothered or do I have time to alter it to fit me after paying $$$. I'm a short person(1.64cm) but not that short that I'm the only one with this issue?

Anyway, I really love ergo sling and have done so in the past but this time round unfortunately, I have to go look for some other brand which I'm not very happy about:(

I use my ergo almost everyday... hanging out washing, doing the groceries, walking along the beach... the list is never ending. I take it everywhere because I know that bub will always settle in it. For us, it was well worth the investment! I can't wait for bub to be big enough to wear on my back, hip and forward facing. At this point she's only been inward facing.
