the '80s was sooooo strong even one spray was too much... it also had a "sour"/nail-polish-y tinge common to vintage chypres. I can apply 3-4 sprays of current formulation and it settles nicely into a detectable, but not overwhelming cloud of loveliness. The mossy sandalwood base is still there, but the rich deep florals emerge more clearly. This is a comfortable fragrance for daily wear, but special enough for date night. It screams "classic."

Using this for years love it – Such a beautiful smell of this perfume have used it for years highly recommended ,the smell lasts for ages also got 2 bottles for Christmas as gifts I love it that much .

So disappointed – Treated myself to a bottle of Beautiful for memories and old time sake as my late mum was a fan of it.What a horrible shock. Couldn't believe what I was smelling. Disappointed in Estee Lauder – Estee Lauder cologne definitely not what it used to be. I am so disappointed..will not purchase again. Majority rules – I wore Beautiful for many years..was my signature scent I used no other scent. Then one day my world came crashing down. Estee Lauder has rolled over in her grave if she knows how one her most loved scents is not even a half a star worthy. Why did Estée Lauder change the formula for Beautiful perfume? – I’ve worn this fragrance for over 30 years and it’s very cheap smelling, doesn’t last long on the body and seems diluted down with alcohol. WAS! It's different! I sampled it several different times to make sure. The scent has lost some of its sophistication and smells of a cheaper scent of floral. I will not be purchasing this product, it does smell nice but the quality that made it special is missing.

I'm so disappointed I'm actually mourning.

Coty Lamaint, and you have to send to the USA for that one. I prefer to buy this one as i can bring it home with e and I know it might be what you would call pricey but beleive me you will appreciate it

I've used this product for over thirty years – I've used this product for over thirty years, however my husband recently bought me some as a gift, it's not the same, I can't wear it , it smells wrong. I quite upset because I wear it every day but I can't wear this....it almost smells like so sort of house hold cleaner has been added.

Sadly Overpowering – I used to wear this perfume when I was younger and I totally loved it but over the years I have been using more subtle fragrances. When I went perfume shopping recently I decided to buy Beautiful but sadly I found it quite overpowering, maybe I will use it during winter.

Beautiful as its name – Feminine but at the same time bold. When the 1st time i apply this perfume, my colleague noticed something different. The first thing she asked, "New perfume? Which brand?". Believe it or not, after i washed my clothes, the fragrance is will there. Just use a small portion. Do not over apply. It is quite expensive but worth it!

The only perfume I use – This is the only perfume I can stand the smell of and I love it. I only like the spray though, not the one you dab on - cannot smell that one as well. fragrance is a wonderful floral and fresh scent that lasts a long time on the skin! You really can't beat the floral scents to please everyone - it is a safe scent to wear. there is nothing I don't like about it.

want to rate it "10", but the overall rating system only goes up to "5"!! In my opinion, this is the most "beautiful" fragrance on the market. perfume. It has a subtle, floral fragrance, not overpowering. It is a large cosmetics label and you can often get excellent promotional deals when buying the perfume, especially around Christmas time. Packaging is dated and does not appeal to the younger market

getting some body creme and talc because they smell exactly like the perfume and you can use these on days when you want only a light fragrance. This is an elegant, feminine, floral fragrance, but it is not old fashioned or overpowering. I always recieve compliments when I wear it. Elegant, floral fragrance which lasts all day without becoming stale. It can be difficult to buy body creme, wash and talc in shops and you might need to get them online.

feel like a grown woman which was how every highschool girl's want to be thought of, I guess. I still love it, but I don't wear it much anymore. I find it too strong now. The product still smells the same to me but I think I changed. I find from asking most female friends that if they like their perfume more fruity or woody smell they'll hate Beautiful, but if they like strong floral and feminine smell like No5, they'll love Beautiful too. Very feminine and lasts very very long (parfum) I once gave my girl friend a sneezy day. Turned out she's allergic to some strong note of smell, and it was this perfume I was wearing (too heavily too). She sneezed non-stop the whole way to the restaurant in my car - poor thing. Don't wear too much of it.
