it may be a faulty sensor. We spent an hour researching trouble shooting which ultimately recommended calling the service support centre, where I waited on hold for some time whilst constantly being reminded to do this online. Online not possible as did not hav proof of purchase after 4 moves. Anyway finally got a customer service officer who helpfully wanted proof of purchase for warranty reasons. I Explained machine would be out of warranty and just wanted a service call from the in-house team. CSO explained not possible to refer in-house and provided two independent numbers. I enquired whether in-house person would be available as we were hoping he would carry Euromaid parts with him, rather than independent repairer having to order in and wait for delivery. I can’t recall the response but at this point I asked directly if there was in house service? And was advised there was not. The purpose of this review is to flag that the information available on line is not accurate and is misleading, and time wasting and shows no respect for their customers time. Given how happy we are with his machine it is a pity their after sales customer service is so misleading.

Working fine. After cpl of years doesnt always start when door gets closed. The biggest issue is rust all over eventhogh no open water in these places. Previous waching machines were not getting rusty.

Lasted 11 years without a single issue. Even moved it to a new house twice – We bought our WM7 brand new in 2011 soon after getting married. It was all we could afford, at around $350 and with a 3 year warranty. I paid a little extra for the bonus 2 years warranty from the store, Appliances Online, worried that it wouldn’t last very long as it was one of the cheapest available. This machine has gone through 3 babies (and we did washable cloth nappies for 1-2 of them) and they are boys who love getting dirty in the backyard so it’s dealt with the enormous amount of washing required to deal with that.
I couldn’t be happier with how it’s served us for over a decade, considering its low price. If you’re thinking of buying one of these second hand and if it’s only a few years old and appears to have come from a good home, it’s worth giving a go.

rang Euromaid as the company has suggested on several posts with the same issue- we rang once, and was told to go the livechat. Once in the livechat, we were told to ring the number instead. So we rang back, was put on hold for half an hour and then hung up on as it had reached their 5pm closing time. We rang back a second time the next day and they said they couldn’t help us as it was out of Warranty, and gave us the numbers of two technicians, both who declined to see us as we were too far from them. In the end, we booked with a local tech, and so far it has cost $150 just for them to come and look at the machine. They are now sourcing parts (an inlet valve and a computer part) however we are as yet unaware of the final cost of parts and repair. The machine is just three years old.
In the meantime, as a household of three people, we needed to keep the washing cycle going. My sister, who is currently living with us, fortunately had her washing machine in storage in our garage and so we brought that in to use. Hers is a Euromaid WM7Pro, purchased July 2018. (So two and a half yeads old) However, despite it being somewhat newer, it also has stopped working! It does not drain, and is stuck on 1 minute just turning water around and around.
Until this week neither of us have ever had an issue with our machines, and our parents also have a two and a half year old Euromaid WM7Pro, also no issues to date. But now we have two broken machines in the house, neither very old, a hefty repair bill, and at Christmas at that, after a hard finacial year, and are having to take time our of our busy schedules to take our washing to our parents, our friends and laundromats just to ensure we have clean clothes, towels and sheets.
We are incredibly frustrated and disappointed by this turn of events, and will not consider purchasing a Euromaid again in the future and would strongly advise others against spending their money with this company.

Owned for 8 years and faultless! – I honestly can’t believe how many bad reviews there are here! I purchased this washing machine in June 2012, using it 3-4 times a week and it’s been faultless! My son with a family of 5, bought one soon after us and my other son with a family of 4, bought one the following year. They also have had no problems at all. quality on the outside than other machines, but for the price and performance it can’t be beaten. We have found occasionally that if you over fill the machine it doesn’t drain properly, so the clothes are quite wet at the end of the cycle. We then do just a spin cycle with half the washing at a time. This is the fault of the user rather than the machine. My son recently bought a Euromaid dishwasher because he has been so satisfied with the WM7.
I was a little wary at first because of the price, so I purchased my machine at Harvey Norman, where with a little extra cost, I also got a 5 year insurance plan on it. With this they would actually replace the whole machine if anything went wrong with it. The overall cost was still cheaper than other machines. Not sure if HN still offer this.
I owned a Miele washing machine before my WM7 and I can honestly say it performs just as well. I can’t justify spending twice as much anymore.

I’ve tried resetting it (holding down the start button for 3 seconds and start and on/off) but nothing is happening. Changing the program has no effect either. been working like a champ for 3 years – no issues, I even use hot water through a Y inlet with a 2nd hose attached to the hot water tap, because I have solar hot water this makes a lot of sense. no issues whatsoever, still going strong on hot water 6 years now Show details · 1

advised that it’s too expensive and hard so the washing machine is just broken at four years old. The standard useful life for a washing machine is 10 or so years. I had hoped to get at least five years but you get what you pay for. I’d stay well clear of this brand.

Had ours for 10 years, hasnt missed a beat – Bought this 10 years ago, and it hasnt even caused an issue. The body is starting to rust, so if Euromaid have any spare bodies or if anyone has a faulty one, i could swap over all the bits from ours into it. So simple, efficient and affordable – Has a 39min short wash that cleans amazingly. The machine is easy to clean, accessing the filter is eas. It has a number of cleaning ideas you turn with a know. Worked fine for a few years, then the problems started – The Euromaid WM7 only lasts a few years. Once the problems start its one after the other. First the buttons wouldn't depress, then it stopped mid cycle and wouldn't restart, now it won't drain properly even though the drain and hose are clear. OK if you want a short-term machine, but if you want it to last and be fixable I wouldn't recommend.
Had it for 3 yrs and had to get it fixed 3 times – I had the washer for 3 years. Used it for 2 of them. Broke at least 3 times now. We spent $200 fixing it. For a $500 washer, it's not worth it. Some problems we had, lose circut in the back, front window leakage and, computer errors now it doesn't spin more than one revolution. What's wrong with it now? It worked for 7 weeks more before something major let loose inside. I didn't bother thinking about fixing it. i ordered another brand and it was delivered the next day. I wont buy this brand again.

Before it broke down we really liked the machine, hopefully we just got unlucky and the replacement works for a few years at least.

seems odd 3. If I do one load with bleach when washing white towels, the next 2 completely separate loads that I wash without using bleach (coloured loads) end up with bleach spots on them. I have ruined coloured towels and coloured sheets when I have washed them AFTER washing a load of white towels with bleach 4. The bleach dispenser doesn't release the bleach into the water to dilute it before it gets mixed into the load...instead it immediately pours it out on top of the items loaded into the washer. I tested this by accident because I still had the door open when I loaded my dispenser and while my powder stayed put, the bleach came flying out and landed outside of the machine as well as on top of my towels.
For these reasons, I would not recommend this machine. I'm so upset about my damaged items.

This machine is a great buy – We use this washing machine a lot. Always separate the towels from clothes. It has never let us down. It will take 2 X King size sheets, 2 X pillow cases and some smalls in one load. We most often use the Quick Wash at 34 minutes. Very inexpensive to run and does a great job. Show details · 1

and have had no issue. Machines go wrong. That is one part of the issue. The other is very poor customer service. Most of the people I spoke to were nice, but they mostly are aren’t they. My patience and understanding was taken advantage of. Really disappointing.
Works well, decent price – This was one of the cheaper front loader machines I could find. I've had it for a year and it works well. dissolves washing powder well - don't seem to find undissolved powder on my clothes as I have with some previous machines. The machine ain’t too loud or quiet, will not wear out your clothes, another good feature is it does have advanced features where you can set the timer to wash your clothes at specific time. It does what it needs to do – I bought this washing machine online and it surprised me in a good way. It has a lot more wash features than expected, and my clothes have been maintaining their good condition after many washes (although, I'm not sure if that has more to do with Organic for Poverty's soap nuts). Comes in Budget but have limited options – I have been using this washing maching for past six months. There is not oh so great and so bad feature with this machine yet. We bought this from applicances online, the delivey was very easy and relaxed. I mainly use the 28min option and wollen option. The 28 min easy clean but all option apart from this is very long. Best Washing machine ever bought! Better than Miele and Bosch – Amazing wash results. Very economical to run and water wise, too. Took a chance and it paid off – The old way was bashing your cloths against a rock, think of how a front load works. My cloths are cleaner than with a top load I use to use, only tapping into cold water is taking the heat off the hot water system. Handy hint, keep the door open to air the machine when not in use, stops mould etc and turn off at the power point this will save your power bill. As you are not drawing on the power, if you ever move the machine, replace the holders than were removed on installation.
Love the machine, still going strong... so very happy that I took a chance.
