Everdure e2go Range

Love this unit - for 5 years! – We cook everything on the e2go rather than the kitchen stove. We keep the lid DOWN for most things. It gives a much better result than our kitchen stove. obstructions**. Being outside it is exposed to bugs and debris that can block the very small outlet hole.
We recently had a problem with it only having LOW flame regardless of the setting. I had changed to a new hose and regulator but that did not fix it. I removed the burner (easy with 1 screw) and pushed a needle into the Injector hole... and FIXED! Good as new!! Just be careful of not breaking the ignition electrode when refitting the burner tube into position.
Although exposed to the weather, this unit has not rusted. The burner is just like new :-) I assume it is made of stainless steel. The plates are in good shape and so is the lid and body.
Great little bbq – Bought this little bbq second hand for a camping bbq but found it was much better than my bigger bbq and will use this instead as uses less gas and cooks thins alot better. I find it very easy to clean and starts very easily and doesn't blow out easily in the wind. Show details · 1
Everdure e2go .. Great Little Hooded BBQl – Had my e2go for 3-4 years now and it works just fine. No issues provided you maintain it and look after it like you would any other BBQ. Lights easily (normally 2 clicks) and cooks evenly particularly with the hood down and can use less gas cause hood down allows even heat and better gas efficiency. Looking for the E2Go flat bbq plate to use on… Read more · 1
one side and round foil fat collection trays are a bit hard to source. Can Everdure help please assist with this thanks.
Did not last long enough for the cost involved – The cooking surface was a disappointment as there was only one control but the grill was okay, not hot enough in my opinion but the worst thing was the storage/marinade containers which clip onto both sides. Both of them cracked and broke off within 6 months. Now it is a BBQ with virtually no space to put anything beside it unless you have a table nearby. Would not recommend it to anyone. Show details
Once it gets going it cooks really nice meat – This is my first hooded BBQ and it makes so much sense in windy Perth, when the sea breeze came in the in the past with other BBQs my meat was getting cold from the top quicker than warm from the bottom. The E2Go with its hood solves the problem. The only issue is that it takes a few times to ignite the gas and with the flame hardly visible in daylight that is a bit tricky. Show details

Always wanted a barbie – Absolutely delighted with my new barbie. Cooked steaks tonight and they were delicious. Great size, a bit more room than the Weber. Attractive colour, good bench space either size and a protective bag that slides over the top easily. Purchase from Bunnings with a good price that included trolley. The only reason this Barbie doesn't get a five… Read more · 1
is I had trouble putting it together but I am not good with flatpacks so not a manafacturer's issue.
Decent portable BBQ – Bought for trips to the beach. Nice little unit for what I paid. Not too heavy. Wish it came standard with a grill and hot plate. Connected it to a 9l gas bottle and rarely had to refill the gas. Had a few issues with excess food/marinade dropping onto the burners and stopping flow of gas but easily fixed with wire brush Show details · 1
Damaged out of the box and handle broken – I bought my Everdure E2GO for our trip over the Christmas holidays. I bought it online from Elgas. When it finally got delivered I took it out of the box and the gas control nob was damage and the shaft on the gas control valve was bent. I set the BBQ up and tried to fire up to season plates but the igniter didn’t work. This is an easy fix but… Read more
wanted to make sure I wouldn’t void any warranty if I adjusted as I am a gas fitter. I contacted Everdure customer service line in Sydney. The service tech was rude and unhelpful. I was told to take it to a service tech in Brisbane. The Brisbane service tech was helpful. Over the Christmas holiday, the handle to lift the lid broke. When I contacted the service tech in Brisbane to book it in to get all items fixed he advised that Everdure wouldn’t replace broken handle. It has been a very disappointing experience. I have a BBQ that is no older than 4 months and it is falling apart.
On a good note was really happy with the way it cooked and the BBQ plates are great.

Love this little beauty – Bought this on a promotion so got solid plate and cover part of price. Had it now several years and had no problems at all. Cook roasts every week and bbq regularly. Brother in law, avid bbq man, loves it too and will buy one himself. Great size for 2 or 20 people to cook for. Highly recommended. Show details · 1
Doesnt last – I used this BBq on an enclosed protected balcony and for about 10 times I was extremely happy with its service. However after the winter break( and I did replace the bottle) it only had a tiny flame. I sent an email to Everdure and they kindly sent me a hose and regulator. It didnt help and they gave me a repairman's no. He hadnt heard of this… Read more
bbq and it would cost $77.00 to look at it before even fixing it. Im not going to spend any more money on this bbq. I am very disappointed with its service.
Great product – After considering another similar bbq for double the price i decided to go with the everdure e2go. Setup was super easy. It cooks great crispy sausages, delishous hamburgers. Potato bake worked well. So far i am unable to fault this great little bbq. Highly recommended. Best bbq I've owned. Great for the patio, picnics and camping. My 4 burner has now been placed in the shed end all i use us the e2go. Plenty of room to bbq up a feast. Show details
Outdoor Lean, Mean Grilling Machine – Not wanting to get an oversized gas-guzzling barbeque or a tiny Weber Q, I went with the Everdure e2go. So far everything has cooked up a treat. Food doesn't dry out like it will on an open plate or grill and it doesn't seem to matter what is where because there are no cold spots to avoid. I like the contemporary design, it is easy to move… Read more
around, and easy to start. Some people have mentioned the flame going out but personally I've never had that problem even on a particularly windy day that blew a garden bench over.
Compared to similar products it has a larger cooking area and hood. If it was pinched I'd be happy to get the same thing again.
way2go! – We needed a bbq for when we go away camping. We wanted something compact but versatile, from a full roast to pizzas. I was looking at Webber, Beef Eater, but I didn't want to spend too much on it as we already have a six burner bbq for home use. I stumbled across the Everdure e2go at Tent World. The guy spoke wonders of it, as it's the bbq he… Read more
takes camping. $279.00 later I was assembling it at home.
It is as big as Webber Family Q, very roomy inside. It easily fits a family size pizza stone inside. Has one ring burner that is easy to start and precise with its cooking. The one thing that I will replace is the thermometre for a calibrated one, only $12 for a Gasmate generic and fits perfectly. I believe the new models have calibrated thermometre.
With holidays and camping coming up soon we wanted to try different meals before going away. We have cooked pizzas, which, once we worked out the right temp, came out evenly cooked and tasting delicious! Tonight we did a 3 kg lamb roast in it, with room to spare for a tray of veggies! The e2go did a stellar job! Keeps the temp well and even. All the cooking was done outside and had no issues whatsoever.
We are incredibly surprised by this brilliant portable bbq. We can't wait to go camping now!!!
UPDATE:
Just got back from two weeks camping at Yamba. We cooked on the Everdure breakkie and dinner every single day. All outdoor under the gazebo. We did roasts, pizzas, and just plain bbquing. It performed faultlessly. My mate next camp up owns the webber 2200. He was in awe of the E2go. The wind, which was blowing heavy one night, did put the flame out ONCE. All I had to do was turn it a little so it wouldn't blow straight into the bbq through the back slit. The Webber next door did exactly the same thing.
WE used it for 12 days straight on a 4kg gas bottle and still have some left over.
Very happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone.

Not a good BBQ for outdoors – I bought this BBQ on price. I paid $199.00 from BCF and initially very happy I have had it for less then 8 months and now quite disappointed . Firstly the lid stains quite easily if left out in the weather which prematurely ages the look of the BBQ. Living with this as I though it was a cosmetic thing and thought that the price was still right I… Read more
couldn't understand why I was going through so much gas for such short cooks. Then noticing a slight gas odour and after some detective work found the hose that came with it had a small leak around the fitting where it connects to the unit it self. After going through two bottles I quickly learned to remember to shut off the valve on the bottle. Which I usually do and now have come to a routine of shutting of valve first then the BBQ dial. After replacing the hose with another one I thought finally all good! But alas no. The ignition and temperature dial on the BBQ has a split in it making the knob useless. No problem I will use a pair of pliers to turn the metal control adjuster. But now the control adjuster has seized up. So now the BBQ is quite useless. I have come to the conclusion that although robust in looks ( which sold me) the finer detail and quality has a lot to be desired.
Not great...buy something else – I used this bbq once before the words all smeared on the handles....constantly blows out if there is even a little breeze...very hard to clean...comes with 2 grill plates...whats with that!!! should have had a grill and a flat plate...like every other BBQ...$50 for the flat plate...seriously not happy with this BBQ
Great barbie for the patio as well as picnics – Bought mine while on special at HN's. Has the advantage of cooking Weber style closed hood or Aussie style open hood. I don't know why Everdure push this as a picnic type bbq because there is plenty of cooking area and it looks good on the patio. Mine came with two grills and a flat hot plate which was a bonus as the latter is usually sold as an optional extra. Top product!
Absolulutely Awesome!!! – I was after a portable hooded BBQ for the caravan to enable a bigger range of menu whilst glamping. After lots of research, it was between a weber q 1000 and the E2GO. Every blog I read was pro Weber so that was where I started. After comparing size in-store, the E2GO was similar in quality but had a much larger cooking area than the weber. I… Read more
was lucky enough to pick it up at BCF for $195 on special and $50 for the cart.
The first night I cooked a roast pork which was so flavoursome and tender, my fussy children even ate it! The next night was steak and again a great flavour in a short amount of time. I follow the Weber youtube guides as the E2Go cooks exactly the same and there are lots of great recipes. One youtube clip said that vaccum sealed pork is harder to crackle and I agree as only half of it was crisp (still more than in the oven). Everdure do have a PDF recipe book and a start-up guide on the web which I downloded.
The E2go is so good, has now replaced the 6 burner as it far superior for cooking, easier to clean and a bloody good investment. Even at full price, which is around the same price as the Weber Q 1000, the E2GO is better value and another plus is that Weber accessories fit the E2GO.
Everdure is an Australian company and I can't recommend the E2GO highly enough. Weber's are great BBQ's, but now have some competition in the marketplace.
fantastic portable bbq – After one mth of use as a BBQ / oven I can not fault it , We have cooked home made pizza, roast lamb ,bacon & eggs, baked veges & normal steak sausage BBQs I had a oven thermometor which checked against inbuilt thermo once you get used to temp settings you can cook to perfection E2GO is very easy to clean this is the 4th portable bbq oven I… Read more
have owned & by far the best Size can roast good size meals, easy clean . well made temp gauge only calabrated in low med high
Tip top – It was so good I have stop using my pizza oven for the time being. I cannot wait to go camping up north and use it. Very impressed so far. We've cooked fish, steak, rack of pork and vegetables in the first day. Looking forward to experimenting with it more. The instant heat and it uses less gas
love it for camping and often at home – lady at bbq galore talked me into it. australian company. better capacity then the weber of the same size. small gas bottle lasts forever. . i use it maybe 4 times a week and also take it caravaning. have never had a problem. i just love it. can cook two whole chickens at once in it, hamburgers, breads..everything. use it more then my… Read more
oven at home. everything. size, capacity, light weight. efficent. fits in back of ford territory when we go camping. good price.
Dissapointed... Keeps turning itself off before its done cooking – Purchased an Everdure E2Go BBQ with Natural Gas Kit and extra Plate/Grill. At first it seemed a good idea based on the fact that it was a lower cost than the Weber we where going to buy. We are dissapointed with two main issues. The Plastic holders on the side keep filling with rain water and do not drain. The unit will flame out during any… Read more
cooking that has the cover closed. This means it is almost impossible to do a roast without continuosly watching that the flames have not gone off whilst the gas is still on.
I have had the unit installed by a professional gas qualified plumber.
Seems like the product is not designed correctly or completely for a permanent outdoor application.
Very Dissappointed after spending about $500 dollars. Bigger and Cheaper than a similar type. Flames out with Gas on. Cannot cook with cover closed, not good for roasting.
You may have to drill a couple of small holes in the plastic holders to allow the water to drain.
Love it! BUT – When I bought it, I was keen to get cracking. Unpacked it - what? No recipe book. what do I do now? Go to the opposition's website and grab the WeberQ manual. Contacted Everdure about my disappointment. Disappointing result. I now get by, thanks to WeberQ Good cooking. Efficient on gas. Easy to stow. Trolley has no wheels. No recipe book. Piezo ignition useless Show 3 replies
