Making life difficult for this renter – We only learned Eview Chelsea was our property manager by accident. For more than a month we'd been paying rent to Barry Plant so learning about the change in this way was unsettling. Today I received a text message reminding me of a routine inspection planned for tomorrow. Wow! Didn't see that coming because we weren't given 7 days notice for a start. I don't like the way this is going.

information regarding the actual size of the property and this was ignored on a couple of occasions. I was eventually told by [Name Removed] that it was 50 square metres. It turns out it was actually 42 square metres at best. I was then advised by the property management group that there was a waiting list in place and this would be for at least a few months and the space would be $275 per month. We had the sales contract and I needed to amend it to include finance and we never heard from [Name Removed] again. The standard in low in Melbourne for estate agents ethics but this guy really is the bottom of the barrel.

Told one thing by an agent and another thing happened – Certainly consider a 1 star far to high for this agent. As a purchaser I can only feel sorry for the vendor not achieving the best possible outcome in the pearcedale area.

Very bad experience regarding renting a house – Terrible experience regarding renting through eview, they only working for the sake of landlord not the tenant. They keep changing the property manger. I evacuate the house since one month now and still not get my bond back although the house already been rented to another tenant. Also they are lacking good manner and communication skills. Totally unprofessional – Recd an unsolicited call offering a valuation on my prpperty. An appointment was made. Frankston Head Office – Found this organisation and the agents a little slimier then your usual lot. Was shown around a couple of properties and never heard the end of the calls. Met the owner or director of the business and found him to be a little daft... and very self absorbed. A generally weird experience - so much so i had to share.

I informed the agent that we are not negotiating price now, we have already agreed on the price. To surprise me, the agent said your offer was never accepted. Off course a big lie. The agent is using unethical and subtle sales tactics. I confronted the agent with his written communication. The result is rudeness, lies, personal attack and shifty work to cover their rubbish work ethics.

I advise everyone to refrain from dealing with this group. They will waste your time and money.

At the first inspection, [Name removed] spoke about renting the property out. And he was promising that he could easily rent the premises out to Chinese people with higher rental revenues. He then didn't answer his phones. Instead, he texted us with some stories about his so called tenants were sightseeing in Sydney. We could sign the contracts once they were back, etc. As the weeks passed, his so called tenants somehow disappear. He might have someone else to rent for basic market price. 3 months! Before I signed the contract, he promised me that I could rent it out easily higher than market price as he had strong resources with Chinese tenants. Then as soon as I signed the contract, he made himself so hard to contact! Apparently he only had time to text us back!

Even when I booked the final inspection, I received a text message from [Name removed] ten minutes prior to the appointment time to contact him. When we eventually spoke, he advised me that the vendor’s property wasn’t ready for an inspection and advised me to reschedule. I found this very unprofessional as I had already driven 40 minutes before being notified and this appointment was scheduled weeks ago! We still went and unfortunately found 4 broken windows, 1 broken door (was obviously punched by someone and then repainted to cover), and 1 big crack in the bedroom. Everytime we pointed out a problem, he straight away asked the owner who was always "staring" at us and present. Of course, he would say it was like that on your first inspection! However, none of these were in our building inspection report, so we asked for another final inspection.

On the final inspection day, we were told that he was no longer dealing with the property. Therefore, his co-listing agent [Name removed] from Chelsea Eview would meet us there. However, when we arrived at the property 5 minutes later, [Name removed] did't show up. Instead, his girlfriend from Chelsea Eview arrived. She started speaking to me in a loud and aggressive manner. She had no interest in hearing my concerns about the unrepaired damage. Her response was “I don’t want to talk to you, I don’t want to argue with you, you are wrong, just go, go do your final inspection! just go! Stop wasting my time!”. For an officer in effective control to talk down to myself in such a manner is extremely unprofessional. The vendors also were not very cooperative and aggressive to me. I felt quite threatened and very uncomfortable during the whole process.

Additionally, keys to the property were not provided to me by the agent at settlement. She called in the morning of the settlement day advising that the vendor would leave the keys in the meter box at the property, because it's too far and difficult for her to handover keys to us in person. When I arrived to collect the keys on settlement day, there were no keys in the meter box as previously arranged. I phoned Eview’s office and spoke to a staff member who informed me that no one knew where the keys were. Then she said" Oh, the vendor locked all the keys inside of the house". After an hour of waiting at the property no return phone call was made, so I had to call again then the staff member at Eview slowly arranged for a locksmith to open the property. When I eventually gained access, I was horrified to discover that the naturestrip was fully loaded with chairs, couches and rubbish. I emailed her regarding my concerns but never received any return emails or even a phone call regarding the settlement exchange.

I am left feeling bewildered after the whole experience and have a good mind to report the issues due to their unsatisfactory conduct. I believe that agents are to act in the best interest of the parties involved in a legal contract of sale and this was not my experience.

They just will not communicate, they jump straight to court. Yet in the court, they do not know what – I have asked on 3 meetings, and an explanation, as to why [name removed], my property manager would not give me a reference. After nine years of renting, my rent always paid on time, I only failed one inspection, yet when her manager came back to redo the inspection, walked out mad, as her time had been wasted. I need a reference from the property manager to obtain another place, yet this immature female, will not give one. I have rang properties managers I applied for, they said, no she has not returned my call. Yet under oath in court, she said she did. Then outside the court, she back down. Her manager then stuck up for her, then back down, when I said, I know the property, you gave the referral on. Since this date, I will still be home less as of the 29th, this month. Simply because, [name removed] is not mature enough to do her job and can not understand that she holds the future of peoples lives. As it is up to her to stop the catch 22. But to Eview rental, they do nothing wrong. Its my fault, I am in this catch 22. So in the long run, they can not be trusted. When I told them this, they were shocked. Ignorance, immature, and plain stupidity. I also have another 4 court hearings, they have booked, yet the judge agreed with me, with moving out on the 29th. But the just keep applying to VCat, for no reason. Which will be sorted in a Liability court. As they have fore gone there responsibility of care, and duty. But since they do not believe, this applies to them, this will be short, quick, and they may loose the rental department here in Frankston. As judges take this very seriously.

The tenant trashed the property at the end of the lease and when I requested the agent to pursue the damages, I was advised by the agent that the property's condition was in accordance to normal wear and tear. The exit condition report stated no abnormality. The agent refused to pursue the damages and even returned the bond money to the tenant when I repeatedly (3 times in writing) told them not to as I was pursuing this with VCAT. Lucky for me, VCAT ruled in my favour and we got paid our damages. This is an agent that does not look out for Landlord's interest.

Monthly statements DO NOT add up to the EOFY statement. The EOFY statement had extra expenses, amounts not adding up and when I queried, they were not cooperative, they refused to answer the queries. I requested for copies of used services or bills that they paid, up till today, I have not received all copies of used services and when I sent reminders, they were rude and nasty.

If you are looking for an agent, do not use them, they were rude, unreliable, provided inaccurate statements and even raised their voices at me.
