Worst experience EVER IN MY LIFE – Forgot to turn up for booking, kept calling on a mobile they gave me and woke up some girl who said she’d had a big night out and prob still drink and would call me back needed to check booking, no surprise never called so I was trying to book another company finally called said sorry she fell asleep. register. Eventually guys turned up with wrong size truck, didn’t bring tools just to disconnect washing Machine (I had to knock on neighbors doors to find one), then because they brought the wrong size truck said they would finish off the next day. They arrived hungover struggling to work and truck broke down. When I complained they put me on to their boss as their were so many other things that went wrong (too long to go into) and the boss said you either pay cash now or they would take all my belongings and put them in storage till I paid. I am a single woman in my own so drew cash and paid. Realised they stole all my alcohol and when I tried to call never picked up and never heard of again. DONT EVER USE THEM I should have reported them but I was so drained, exhausted and upset I wanted to forget the whole thing. I have no idea how they live with themselves I believe in karma.
Worst experience! – The worst interstate removalist experience I've ever had. They were late on arrival and delivery, VIP service booked to guarantee times and this was disregarded. Furniture didn't fit (I don't believe the truck was the size I paid for) and needed to arrange another service through another company as they couldn't help and left me, my husband and… Read more
baby stranded. Damaged furniture and boxes which included breaking my couch, scraping my dining furniture and when a small table fell off the back the comment was "your contents insurance will cover that". Complete disregard for customer service - hung up on and argued with by staff in person and on the phone. Threatening demeanour by driver, I didn't want to sign successful completion of job based on experience however I was verbally harassed and forced to do it. The staff didn't take accountability or ownership to help me even though I had paid them thousands of dollars. I will never recommend this company and they ruined a time that was supposed to be a happy experience for us.
Worse moving company – My god customer service = Terrible. They are worse than 3Rd world country customer service ppl. We moved stuff from qld to Nsw. Arrived a day late to pickup removals. Arrived 7 days late to Nsw Reason stated - truck broke down. Stuff came with damages when asked was said damages are inevitable moving interstate Really?

Would recommend the boyz were awesome – 2 bedroom apartment with stairs and the move was excellent as going to another place with stairs. They found solutions which was fantastic Noah and Ashok excellent workers.
Great Service from start to finish! – We made an enquiry and received the quote all within 24 hours; and finalizing the booking only took 5-10 minutes over the phone. Their communication and service should also be commended! The 2 men who were booked for us (Ashok and Noah) were very polite and professional, and made sure to keep us up to date on their time of arrival. We were… Read more · 1
located on the 16th floor of an apartment complex and moved to a house about 20 minutes away -The packing, loading and unloading of our items were done with absolute care and within a sufficient time frame.
This was the very first time we'd ever used a removalist, and we want to thank Extra Mile movers for their exceptional service! We will Definitely recommend this company to our family and friends.
Excellent Service from drivers, Saif and colleague – I used Extra Mile movers for a backload delivery from Sydney to Melbourne. Although only minimal items they were fragile & sentimental items so I also needed extra care taken. The actual booking process was not the easiest and left me exhausted, however the actual drivers themselves who turned up were exceptional and made the whole process hassle… Read more · 1
free from that point on! Saif and his colleague were brilliant! Both were extremely helpful, friendly and nothing was an issue. They moved the items from my 1 bedroom apt in Sydney in prompt time and delivered the following day to Melbourne to my mother successfully. My mum and her neighbours are elderly & unwell and they had nothing but rave comments to make saying how wonderful the drivers were in ensuring the items were unpacked and put where they needed to be without any damage. I highly recommend the use of their drivers Saif and his colleague, they are wonderful! Thank you to both.

Don't Use! On the NSW Fair Trading Complaints Register – I asked in writing if this company was an agent or the actual removalist (after having had a bad experience before unknowingly using an agent). They said the actual removalist. This turned out to be a lie. '[name removed]' rang me to try to get the job. I asked her to communicate via email and answer the questions I had about the company. Avoid. Avoid at all costs – “Avoid. Avoid. Can't be clearer than that. Don't be tempted by incessant phone calls and or any discounts they may offer. The removalists even ate food that I had delivered for myself and my pregnant fiancé which I then had to reorder.
During the drop off day, they were also very slow (even our concierge mentioned how slow they were) often seen taking food and smoko breaks.
Simple instructions weren’t followed. We had labelled some boxes and items and advised the removalists that these boxes were for the storage cage down a few levels. This did not occur and I had to move all boxes and items to our storage cage myself.
They failed to attempt to move our couch to our unit, stating multiple times that “it won’t fit” and placed it in the storage cage. A friend of mine helped me the next day and the couch fit easily in the door frame. They also brought two tables up to our level and left them in the common hallway without offering to help detach the head and move the table into our unit. Leaving it up to me and my pregnant fiancé.
They even brought in a third removalist on the dropoff day and then asked me to pay additional cash for his involvement. Which I refused. Once they had finished, one of the removalists put me on the phone to "the boss" who said that I needed to pay extra because they took longer than 4 hours. I advised him that the removalists took exactly 4 hours, and have proof of the arrival and finish times. I also mentioned that I have proof of the removalists taking multiple extended smoko and food breaks. I refused to pay extra and "the boss" then mentioned that someone would be calling me tomorrow to discuss further. Not surprisingly, nobody called the next day.
Terrible customer service. Not helpful at all and it seemed at times they couldn't care less. Multiple times they would be unable to locate our reference number. Since the removal I've tried multiple times to retrieve another copy of the invoice without reply.
1/5 stars. The 1 star is for moving stuff successfully.
Avoid.
Horrendous – Dodgy. Provided itemised fixed price quote ($1900 inc $200 deposit), however, whilst our gear was half loaded they demanded an extra $1700 paid immediately to complete the job. They then threatened to drive off with our stuff unless we paid them immediately with cash $500 (which we didn't have). Paid them $295 cash to unload our stuff. They then… Read more

Terrible Business – I received a quote via email from Extra Mile Movers that stated that if I booked on the same day I would get a discount. received my confirmation email the discount had not been applied. I tried to ring and email multiple times to find out how much I was going to have to pay but no one answered. When the movers came to pick up my stuff (which they were late doing) they made me pay the full amount, without the discount. I paid because they wouldn't load the truck without payment and I needed my stuff moved ASAP. The movers themselves looked very unprofessional and dropped one of my boxes splitting it open and weren't going to do anything about it (luckily nothing was damaged and I was able to quickly tape the box back up). They were then late again delivering my stuff at the other end. After the move, I again tried to call the company multiple times to find out what had happened with the pricing, but it was as if they were screening my calls so I never got through. There were others companies that were cheaper than Extra Mile Movers but the 'discount' they offered made them the most competitive so that's why I booked with them. I wish I had read these reviews before! I submitted a complaint with NSW Fair Trading but it seems that Extra Mile Movers can't get back to them either. Something needs to happen to stop this scam of a business from operating.
You couldn't pay me to deal with them again – Extra Mile Movers quoted us $450+GST with a $50 discount for booking that day; we paid a $200 deposit. we owed the larger amount even when I showed her the original quote email we received from them. The emails I received from them were badly worded, poorly formatted and the math was incorrect, for example saying $490-50=450.
Several times I tried to call and no one answered, they say in their email “please do not hesitate to contact me on 1300 882 040”, yet I called them literally six times and they did not answer once. I left a message every time until I left a message saying that if I don't hear from them I would be contacting the ACCC. When she finally rang me (from a blocked number) she said she had tried calling me the previous day, which was an outright lie, as I had no calls from them that day. She was friendly on the phone and fixed everything, sending a new confirmation email with the correct price on it. That evening, I received an email from them changing the date of the move even though when I booked they said they could guarantee the original day we booked since we booked so far in advance. Along with this, they sent a new confirmation email with a higher price again. This date did not work for us at all since we already had to be out of the house by then, so I tried to call them (during business hours) to cancel my booking and this time the phone doesn't even ring. I rang several times and every time it just went through to voicemail. I emailed and she said she would refund the deposit within 3 working days.
Four working days later and there was still no sign of the refund. I tried to call them twice and now I get the message that this number is suspended. I emailed asking what’s going on, got no response. Lodged a complaint with NSW fair trading and had no choice but to do a credit dispute with the bank to get the money back. I have emailed them again since and gotten no reply again.
Over all this time I called them 10 times and they did not pick up the phone once, they have also not replied to my emails asking about where my refund is. We didn’t even use their service in the end and still they are not giving our money back.
I saw the public warning posted on the NSW Fair Trading website which was posted after booking and wish I saw this earlier. This is an unorganised, unprofessional business and I feel bad for anyone who has dealt with them and anyone who has to in the future. We are just lucky that we were able to organise another company on short notice and not have to go through with the move using their service. Wouldn’t even give them one star, but that’s the lowest option here.

Really and honestly terrible – For those of you still debating whether or not to use this service, do not. I had a few questions about the quote they had sent online. So I paid the deposit and had my move booked.. to then get a call the next day saying that the quote was too… Read more
cheap, the "girl was only new" and they wouldn't honour the cheaper quote. Being desperate for time I opted for it anyway but was shocked at their blazee attitute.
Come moving day.. nobody came, nobody called and by 8pm I was worried as I had no bed to sleep on. I had called their emergency number on the voicemail but it was a disconnected number. I had hired a motel for the night and called first thing in the morning to ask what had happened. The response to no one showing up was "ooh yeh, I was here yesterday and was going to call you but I called another customer instead. The truck broke down and no one got their stuff picked up... so when would you like to book your next move with us?".
This was the first of 15 calls to try and sort out my move ASAP as I lost access to the appartment after the next day. After speaking to three people saying the manager would call me within the hour, I called and pleaded with the next person who picked up. She booked me in that afternoon for a truck, said that my housemate could let the guys in to pick up my goods and was all set to drive to Canberra. An hour later I get a call saying the truck was a mistake, I'm not booked on any truck and that I would have to wait another day. I started to explore all possible options from a country town, already on my way, when the truck manager hangs up on me after telling me "I have better things to do with my time than to listen to an upset customer".
The truck comes the next day at 11pm after I get a call that evening trying to bargain with me a time that suited him the next day (i.e. 4 full days after the original move). I then get a call the night after they pick up my goods saying I needed to call a guy on a mobile to give him my credit card details as they aren't Extra Mile Movers, they're another company that helps them out when their trucks are unavailable. Emotional and entirely over it I gave the guy my details who, to his credit, emailed me a legitimate tax invoice and receipt. Delivery came the next day to the storage unit and it was done.
TLDR; Do NOT choose this sham of a company to help you move.

everything. I had to do it the next day. I just wanted it over and done with and see the back of them. Even some residents at the unit block noticed how bad they were. One person said that they were the worst they had seen in 15 years living there.
Instead of taking everything to relevant rooms in the new place, I got them to just leave everything in the garage as I was very worried about them damaging new place. When they damaged a door jamb at the other place, taking the lounge suite out, instead of apologising, they argued that they couldn't avoid it as it was too heavy. Seriously.
Everything was too hard.
They were extremely rude as well and I was worried about saying anything.
They started at 7.30 am and were still unloading at 6.30 pm. The trip was 20 minutes drive.
Don't use them no matter how cheap they might be. It is mot worth the trouble and risk.

late despite calling the night before to confirm a time, when they saw the job has stairs (only 2nd floor) they started refusing to do the job, despite all of this being confirmed during the booking stage.
I had emailed a full list of the contents of my house prior to booking to make sure the quote was accurate, this included a 125cc bike and they assured me EVERY truck has a tail lift or ramp but guess what - surprise surprise the one they sent didn't and the movers refused to try to find a solution and ended up leaving it at the house.. not ideal when I was flying up to QLD the same day.
They also told me I had more cubic meters than they had allowed for in the quote (31 m3) and asked me for more money. I measured the truck and they were well under, I suspect they just wanted some extra cash - also they managed to fit it all into a storage shed which was only 27 m3 with plenty of room left over, I wonder how that works??
They broke my big screen TV while moving, not only was the screen smashed but they actually snapped the plastic frame around the screen right in half - no idea how they did that but they don't seem to think it's their fault at all and despite the Office of Fair Trading saying they have a professional duty of care these guys don't care at all.. The OFT is now investigating.
They eventually got the bike up to me two weeks later but still no compensation for the broken TV and no crap given by this dodgy company..
Extra mile?? An absolute joke! – Extra mile movers are the MOST disorganised company with little or no communication amongst all their workers! I had my stuff moved from Cronulla to Queensland. no, they turned up 7 hours later at 11pm!! We lived in a unit block- can just imagine what the neighbours were thinking as they moved heavy furniture down the stairs after midnight!!
To make matters worse, they left behind stuff in our car space that was very clearly explained in notes left by my friend (who was now sleeping!!).
When we realised, I spoke to the removalist who said 'it wouldn't have fitted anyway' and that as it wasn't my fault, he would organise for it to be picked up and brought to QLD a few days later.
Problem solved....or so I thought!
Before delivery, you usually have to pay in full any outstanding money. Which is fine. If you are getting all your stuff. I was not comfortable doing this and wanted to withhold part of the payment until all of my stuff arrived. They weren't happy about this but eventually after I spoke to fair trading- who agreed it was a reasonable request, they agreed I can withhold $200 until my forgotten stuff arrived. They turned up for the first delivery and I was put on the ph to their boss who told me they wouldn't unload unless I paid the $200 in cash- which I found unusual considering I was told the company doesn't accept cash- only card or direct deposit. And then that I would need to pay $700 more to have the forgotten stuff delivered- as it was more than they expected. I had sent a photo of the stuff left behind to the removalist- so they knew exactly how much stuff was there! I told the boss that I had spoken to fair trading and they agreed it was reasonable, etc. and he started getting very angry and threatened to charge more for the storeage of my stuff that they had now collected. Eventually I said I'd sort that stuff out tomorrow- and the removalists unloaded the stuff- without me paying the $200.
There was all sorts of communication problems with this company and it added so much stress to our move. Eventually I did get on to one nice lady who sorted it out for me and it was delivered- and I paid the remaining $200. (Even then, they didn't know where my stuff was in storeage) - I'd been told it was at their depot- and after it had been apparently located, the removalists still went to my unit in Cronulla looking for it!!
I hope to laugh about it in a few years... I'm over the stress now, I have my stuff, whatever you do- DON'T use this company!!!

even though I gave full details at quote. Took forever packing then repacking the truck I suspect that they were stretching the time to get more hourly rate. After truck loaded Driver said he'd be in Newcastle Tuesday. First time I knew it wasn't next day delivery.
On Tuesday afternoon I rang all the numbers I had but no answer and they didn't return voicemails. At 8pm got someone who said they'd deliver 11pm - midnight. Delivering furniture at midnight in a quiet residential street is unacceptable. Promised delivery Wednesday.
Called boss Wednesday morning, he argued and bullied me. I had to remind him 3 times that I was customer. Boss said they never promise backload delivery days. They did!

Full Story.
My partner and myself booked our backloading move from Canberra to Melbourne.
We booked the move with Extra Mile removalists a month in advance to ensure all our plans were made and there would be limited stress on moving day. Our quote was $1700.
2 weeks out from the move date, we were informed that there was an extra amount that we needed to pay on top of to the total cost, this extra amount was GST. It was not clearly specified on the quote that GST was NOT included. We asked why we weren't told how much GST was and why it was not clearly disclosed in our quote and why nobody corrected us when we were confirming that there were no hidden fees and that the only money we would have to pay was $1700.
We did not receive appropriate email responses (responses did not answer the questions asked) which forced us to call only to have our questions unanswered. We did not push any further as we were hitting a brick wall when attempting to communicate. We sent an email stating that we recommend that they make the fact that GST is not included clear for future consumers. This email was also ignored (no shock there).
BUT! 2 days before the move we called to confirm that our move was finalized and what time we might expect the removalists.
We were informed that the booked day was not what was previously agreed and it was booked for two days later. We informed them that our contract was for the date agreed, and all arrangements, including my quit date of work was made around that date. We were told initially that the move would proceed on our contracted date. Unfortunately, we later received another call stating that in order for the move to occur on our contracted date we would have to upgrade to a VIP move which was almost double the cost. My partner and I spent majority of our day contacting Extra Mile to correct the moving date. Fortunately this was done once I spoke to a supervisor. I requested that they do not call us again for a change of date. A few hours later, they called my partner to attempt to move the date again. He denied their request.
MOVING DAY I had the house all packed up ready to go by 0800hrs. I receive a phone call at 1000hrs from Extra mile, asking whether I had heard anything from the removalists. We informed Extra Mile that no contact has been made. They said they will give them a call and we should hear from them soon.
I told my partner that a few hours had passed and I hadn't heard anything from anyone.
He called extra mile to get an ETA. Extra mile told him they should be arriving 1400-1500hrs. That time came and went. We called the driver next. The drivers stated he was still in Sydney and did not get the job for our move until 1600hrs and would not get there until approx 1800hrs (inconsistent with what we had been told by the company). Unfortunately, this time also came and went.
We called again to report that the day is nearly over and that they did not uphold their end of the contract by picking up our belongings on the day agreed.
Later that night, we got through to the drivers who informed us that they would not be there until midnight. I waited up. That time also came and went.
My partner called the drivers and asked what was going on. The drivers informed us that they would not get there until 0300-0400hrs on the next day and that when they get to our house they would need to have a quick rest before packing our belongings..
We attempted to call extra mile with no connection and attempted to call the emergency phone number provided to us. That number had been disconnected. .
At 0430hrs the removalists arrived. They looked exhausted. I had to make them a coffee to wake up a bit, this had me concerned for the safety of the removalists and for my belongings. After packing, they immediately began their drive to Melbourne.
The removalists themselves were lovely, and no items of furniture were broken. They informed us they would get to our Melbourne address between 1400-1500hrs. They arrived on time. We were very happy with the actual removalists.
At completion of our move, we decided to honour our end of the contract and pay the agreed fee, with intention to discuss compensation with Extra Mile after payment. Our attempts to discuss compensation for the move occurring a full day late have been ignored.
The day after our move took place, I emailed extra mile removers about what transpired the day before, and received no response. I emailed again. No response. I attempted to call. As soon as I said my name they hung up on me. I have given up at this point.
Their inability to manage caused unbelievable stress to myself and my partner.

they were still on time and they said yes. At 2:20pm there was still no sign of the removalists so I called. Customer service told me they were no longer coming. At this point I was so overwhelmed I started crying as I had someone moving into my place the next day. Long story short, they assigned new drivers to me who came at 10am the next morning. These drivers were fine at first and were doing an ok job. At the end of the move they asked for payment. I thanked them for their work but said I was going to pay over the phone wheh I call the office. At this point they started threatening me so I walked back inside. Note that the company already had my credit card details so I was in no way trying to get out of paying. From then I started receiving phone calls from the removalists. They were swearing and yelling down the phone and started threatening to kill us and come up to our apartment (we recorded this phone call). We called the police and had to have police check the permimeter and they took our statement and listened to the recording. We were too scared to leave our apartment for the rest of the day. To this day I still don't actually know why the became so aggressive!
I called the manager the next day and even though she seemed sympathetic, she insisted that I should still pay the outstanding amount of $127. What a joke!

Partially Disappointed with the Service – Partially Disappointed with the service. The guys turned up at 2:00 PM instead of 9:00 AM as scheduled. This is utter mismanagement. I was busy moving my stuff and wasn't at home at 2:00 PM and the driver says that he will charge me from 2:00 PM onward. 1. These guys do not have any emergency response team for Sundays, the emergency no.… Read more
provided is disconnected.
2. When I had specifically booked for 9:00 AM then the driver should be there at 9:00 itself, he was 5 hours late.
3. I was busy moving my stuff, why would the driver charge me for waiting when he himself was 5 hours late.
This guy charged me the waiting charges for 30 mins extra, in that case I should charge you guys 5 Hours waiting charges as you were late in providing service.
I am disappointed with the service and won't recommend to anybody.
I am giving 3 stars only because the guys moved the stuff very carefully and not a single scratch was there. Both the guys were friendly and took care of the items.
really sorry for hearing that, we are doing our… Read more
Good until you book the service, terrible after that – I hired them for an interstate move from NSW to VIC, their rates were reasonable, however nothing was included contrary to their claim, you have to pay for boxes, tapes, butcher paper and literally everything on top of the move fees. I suggest you get all of this on your own as they are charging almost double the prices for this. The guys who came… Read more
to pick our stuff were very impolite and aggressive. they reached our place at 6 a.m. and their excuse was that they cannot find a parking later, which is not true. then they were supposed to drop the stuff next day but in afternoon they called me and asked if they can drop the same day at 10 p.m. I asked my friend who was supposed to recieve the items and he was OK with it so i gave them the go ahead but they showed up after 12 a.m. and finished their work around 1:30 a.m.

Shocking service..ruined furniture – After being given 6 difference quotes in 2 days from this company i was pretty unhappy with the service i received from the call centre staff. I complained and was contacted by the CEO [name removed], who apologized and convinced me to give his company a second chance, he assured me that he would look after me and gave me his mobile number to… Read more
deal with him directly.
The night before the move i called him and the office around 6 times and left multiple messages to get an approximate time to expect the driver to arrive the following day.
No calls or messages were returned..i continued to try and make contact the day of the move and still received no contact.
I wait until 3pm after sitting around at home all day until finally getting a call from a driver who gives me an hours notice.
Upon arrival in Brisbane i noticed my outdoor table (the 1st item off the truck) come off in a broken crumpled mess, i asked what happened to it and the driver tells me that heavy items were placed on top of it which is why the legs had buckled ..,i then noticed mud, grease and dirt covering the side of my brand new lounge suite and a huge chip of wood missing from my bed head. No apology or explanation was given. I immediately called [name removed] the owner and asked him what the process was for broken /damaged items and informed him of what happened. I'm not at all upset or angry at this stage as i understand that there is risk of these things happening when moving interstate. I'm simply wanting to know the process for damaged/broken items.
I email the office the next day with photos of damaged /broken items.
3 days later after multiple phone calls i am still being ignored by the office. No one returns my calls and I'm given attitude by all staff that i talk to.
I call [name removed] after it becomes obvious that no one from the office is going to help me. I receive a heated response from [name removed], he says that its not possible that they damaged the table or ruined the lounge as they protective wrap every thing that goes on the truck. I told him that i witnessed everything being loaded onto and off the truck and assured him that NOTHING was wrapped or protected. He tells me he will not compensate me for table or bed as i did not pay extra for insurance.
He then puts me on the phone to one of the drivers who denies breaking the table even though on the day we spoke about it.
Not one of my belongings were covered in any sort of protective covers, plastic, blankets or anything else described on the website, message bank or facebook page, my belongings were treated like rubbish and I'm so stressed out from this whole experience. I'm disgusted in this company and wish I'd read these reviews before trusting them.
[name removed] has agreed to pay for my lounge to be cleaned however takes no responsibility for broken table or damaged bed head.

Absolutely disgusting customer service – The quote was too good to be true. $690 for a 9.5 cubic metre move from Canberra to Melbourne in a shared truck. Initially the customer service was good. But then It down spiraled. I was given no confirmation that my removal date had been changed, and I had to call them the day before to find out an approximate time for pick up. Initially I… Read more
was told 3-4 pm, but no luck. While waiting I rang the company at least three times to get an update on confirmed timings... one customer service rep asked me what she was supposed to do in regards to getting in contact with the removal track? When I asked another if thy had made any attempts to find out the timings of the pick up they said "No".
I eventually got out through to the company's "truck manager guy" who then texted me the number of the driver. No apologies, or real attempt at customer service.
The driver had no idea what time he was going to be able to get to me. The driver eventually arrived 5 hours late at 830pm, and I'd found out he'd been working since 7am having driven From Yass, and still have two pick ups scheduled.
While waiting I also overheard another customer call the driver complaining about her removal and when it was going to be picked up (this was 930pm at night). This is exceptionally bad management of the exhausted driver and extremely bad customer service.
Except for one helpful service rep the company made no efforts to assist in rectifying any of their customers problems.
The next day en route to Canberra, a sales rep from the company rang me to tell me they would be in Melbourne to pick up my things at 430pm!!!! Whhhhaattttttt?????

Read The Negative Reviews And Be Warned – BUYER BEWARE!!! These guys are hopeless. It all looks good until the time for them to do something and that's when it will all fall apart most of the time. My experience is very similar to several below. Basically they never showed up and left me in the lurch. Massive headaches and dramas to organise a new mover with a few hours notice. Not to… Read more
mention the additional $$$$$.
They may be a little cheaper but you are taking a huge risk. If you have plenty of time on your hands and don't care about whether they turn up or not then go for it but if you're on a schedule STAY AWAY.
Never again will I use this company – I rang and booked my removals in December 2016 for a pick up on the 4/1/17. This booking has been paid in full. On the 3/1/17 I rang to confirm my booking and was told my furniture would be picked up in the afternoon and dropped of first thing on the 4/1/17. 45 mins later I received a call saying my booking had been postponed till the 5/1/17. explained that this was not possible as I needed all my stuff out by the 4/1/17. I was then informed a smaller truck would come and get my stuff and take to other truck on the 5/1/17. I rang the company at 5pm as I had heard nothing. I was told the guys where running late and would be there between 10 and 11pm. No truck arrived.
I rang this morning and was guarenteed it would be picked up today. I received many calls with no answers and just more confusion. My stuff is still sitting 8 hours away and I'm looking at loosing everything I own.
I have lost my bond, had to pay extra rent to save my property and have paid accommodation for the new tenants and now living in a property with no furniture at all.
I am only moving a small amount of furniture from a 2 bedroom unit on the Far North Coast to Sydney.
I have never been treated with so much disrespect. I didn't post my review straight away as I was waiting to hear back from company. And guess what I'm still waiting.

Use this business @ your own peril!! – An impressive website and prompt replies in terms of quoting - unfortunately it was all downhill from there. The VIP service was booked Melbourne to Sydney guaranteeing a pick up and delivery time + 2 hours packing + 20 boxes. That was the end of the dream, from hereon it became a nightmare. The truck was due @ 10am but arrived @ 3.15pm after… Read more
far too many non returned calls asking where they were - not only do they treat their customers like rubbish the driver & his jockey had not slept for 2 days - clearly Basic Fatigue Management is not something that they adhere too. Artwork & other fragiles were not wrapped as promised just a moving blanket placed over them - so much for the VIP service.
Delivery promised for between 11am - 1pm, they arrived after 3pm, with a call less than 20 mins before they arrived. The van was dirty, the driver dead on his feet from lack of sleep and the 2 guys sent to help unload had little if any regard for my property. The front door jam was damaged - oh we will come back and fix that - still waiting, boxes clearly labelled as fragile were stacked on the bottom much higher than they should have been and when I asked them to not stack so high as I could not reach them - they started speaking in their native tongue in aggressive tones towards me. An inventory list was provided in advance and all they kept doing was complaining about how much stuff there was - it was not our fault that the owner lied to them about the contents.
'Stress Free Removalists' - I think they meant STRESSFUL Removalists. Oh and to top it all off cash was stolen as well, not to mention damage to our belongings, no opportunity to confirm that the truck had in fact been unloaded and damage to the garden because they were too
Good news is don't expect to hear back from the customer service team, the operations manager nor the owner - they are all about grabbing your money and running.
