Quality control from EzyTrail – Picked up Winton10 and once home found problem with cooktop and convection microwave not operating properly. Electrician confirmed the Inverter had be wired incorrectly. Electrician fixed this. which vibrated loose(not approved by manufacturer), the water leak from the pipe connecting the water tank fixed by a plumber at my expense (as I wanted to holiday), the fridge operates at 60db and I must turn it off at night so I can sleep. Ezytrail Penrith has an approved order for a replacement fridge but so far this has taken 2-3months and now I find out the original salesman and manager have left! Living 3 hours away has not made it easy. The quality control was obviously non existent! Im tired of this...I would like a caravan that functions.

Ezytrail Sterling Gt Mk2 – Rick and His father were happy to spend plenty of time showing us the features and answering our questions. Buyer beware – Our battery alarm kept beeping, contacted our dealership twice and they walked us through how to stop it. Walking past the van recently and a foul odor was coming out of it. Couldn't find the source until we lifted the cover over the batteries. All 3 batteries were quite swollen and the source of the odor. Immediately contacted the dealership,… Read more

they asked for photos and for me to lodge a warranty claim. They rejected the claim for poor photos. Asked me to remove the batteries. I had safety concerns about doing that so I asked the local battery dealer to come and do it for me. Sent more photos, again rejected. They wanted me to get the battery dealer to test and report on the batteries, they did and they were all not functioning as they were too damaged. He advised they had dropped cells. Again, the warranty was rejected. This time they claimed it was our fault for leaving them on charge too long. During sale and handover, we were advised they had a trickle charger and should be left on charge permanently while not being used. So then I read the charger manual and wow, first chapter, first page, it states, leave batteries on charge as they can not over charge. So we took photos and sent it back. Now, they have decided its possibly the charger, want me to remove the charger, myself, really!! Send it to Perth, advised it will probably take 2 weeks to get there so possibly without van for over a month, they advise us that it will probably be a case of the charger being fine, the batteries being faulty but we cant prove that we did nothing wrong, they cant prove that they did nothing wrong so in court it becomes a he said, she said. The batteries cost them $600. They would rather be seen in a poor light than replace the batteries, or give us a credit for us to purchase our own, than help us get our van usable again. We currently have no van to use and were book and paid to go camping next weekend. Unfortunately through facebook we have been advised that this is common treatment. I am appalled and will be taking this as far as possible. UPDATE: they have now decided that we let our batteries go flat and this is what caused the damage. They do not believe that it is possible to have received 3 faulty batteries. I have spoken with a number if auto electricians that have viewed the van and have been advised that the batteries are connected in parallel so it only takes one faulty battery to destroy the other 2. I asked him to do his research. But hey, I was offered 3 new batteries from them at a discounted rate, my warranty claim has been declined...again. Report has been lodged with the ACCC. My advice, purchase with the thought in mind that if anything goes wrong, you are on your own.

work weekends, Ricky was happy to fit me in when it suited me, even though it was after their opening hours.

We have had a soft floor camper for about 10 years now and when we decided to upgrade, we attended shows and showrooms. Ezytrail was not on my mind in the beginning but Service and Product finally won. One of the things that stood out is when Damien pointed out that I was not allowing sufficient time to do a thorough handover and that they would prefer if I could allow more time. Even though they initially did not have a model I was looking for, Ricky went out of his way to source one and get it to Penrith for me.

Very poor qauilty – We have owned our buckland lx for two years now on our very first trip we had a strut fail and went to the cairns branch for a replacment which i had to personally remove from one of there showroom campers. on our return journey the door of the main toolbox fell off and we lost all our gear and the door on the fridge slide started to fall of so we had to remove our fridge the pop rivets on the gas bottle holder fell apart and we nearly lost the bottle on a major freeway and to top that off the bed started falling apart. So we called in at the sydney branch to have all problems rectified they replaced the bedroom and replaced front tool box and tried to strengthen gas bottle holders with bolts which was done very poorly. We are now traveling oz and it is our home all the zippers are failing the tape over stitching is coming away midgee mesh has a ladder run in it which has been there since they replaced the bedroom there are stitching threads hanging everywhere holes in part of the canvas where they made stitching mistakes and the canvas is discoloured in hind site we should have gotten onto them as soon as we noticed these things but like a lot of others just thought well you get what you pay for but now we just feel like what a joke its two years old and our home is this thing gonna see its way around the country. We have contacted them about the issues but have basically been told its out of warranty so we get the feeling tough titties and they don't want to know about the poor qauilty of there product that will last a couple of years. But on a positive note the camper tows great has heaps of room and we love the kitchen

was a lot heavier and therefor not as much carrying capacity.

We have been on 3 weekend trips so far and love it.

There has been a couple of minor issue's but Maddie in the Sydney office has said no issue's they will fix them under warranty - the trailer is currently at the factory getting the issues fixed as well as getting out boat rack fitted.

The minor issue's we have encountered has been with the self ignition on one of the gas burner was broken on delivery, tear in the canvas where the storm cover poles sit and a bent pole.

Overall very happy with it would recommend other people to consider them when buying - value for money.
