A nightmare! – No rating at all. A nightmare! Absolutely no idea of what they are doing. Had to stop the build at lock up. Take care Hobart. Do not go near. Paid extra fees for incompetence. My report to Company was fobbed off by receptionist.

I paid for a large 9 by 6 metre shed. I wanted doors opening outward from the centre. Retail staff convinced me to get sliding garage doors. Shouldn't have listened. Worst decision ever! Doors split in 2 halves, and rattle as the bottom of each door bangs and gets stuck on plastic brackets. Parts were missing, I had to go get them and I drove over… Read more

45 minutes. The company sent their own tradies which I regretfully let them work on the shed! Botched the gutters, no closing door latch, nails screwed in crooked all over the roof, and metal leftovers caused the roof to rust. What a pack of amateurs! The colour bond paint on the back of the shed came off and rusted out, showing the poor quality of materials. If I had known this I wouldn't have bought anything from this company. I wouldn't recommend them at all!

Great Little Shed – Purchased my workshop shed from 'Fair Dinkum Sheds' Wauchope NSW. Top people to work with, great communication which is rare in the building industry these days. Best price in all my quotes. Installation team worked hard to get it up for me in a day on a weekend. Well made and strong for a small workshop. Highly recommend them.

Very dissatisfied – My shed was handed to me in April 2021 & had problems with water issues with the concrete finish in carport & main shed , fell the wrong way in carport & water coming in on all 3 roller doors of up to a metre , brought this issue mid 2021 to Bathurst Sheds & when they came 6 months later Jan 2022 , the repair work was worse than the initial… Read more

problem , product used to fix the water issue in the carport was not suitable for outside repairs or drive areas (ardite) which has now cracked & separating from the concrete in large areas , after more multiple phone calls to Bathurst Sheds , no effort has been made to fix the problem again , my issue is not with Fairdinkum Sheds but with the quality of workmanship Bathurst Sheds provide provides & their efforts to rectify major defects

Great product, great service – Got a Fair Dinkum Shed supplied by Josh at Design Garages - Erina and we couldn’t be happier with it. Designed the shed through the app but wanted to make some changes the app wouldn’t allow; Josh made it happen in a heartbeat and it turned out unreal. I would recommend them to anyone thinking about getting a new shed.

Great shed and service – We purchased a shed from Inverloch Sheds and Garages to suit our holiday house. We were very happy with how easy the process was with the selection / design, permit, delivery and construction. I had spoken to a couple of other companies and came away from them feeling more confused. The purchase of this shed was so much easier and very competitive on price.

Design flaws – I had a 12x8 mtr shed and erected so $20000 plus and leaks water at Ridge and even hail comes in . The installer who was arranged by the shed coy said its condensation from the bar fridge. Gee it's 2.5 mtrs under. And does a house has that condensation? No . But he missed screws on the roof and left a mess of unused bolts screws etc. But I have… Read more

stood in the shed when raining and yes it's not satisfactory. You have to fix the shed yourself. You want your camper or vintage car in there just can't be kept dry. Just don't use fair dinkum You get flapping when it's windy.

Unprofessional and worst workman ship – A 2 day build took 6 days over 2 weeks the build is of very poor quality the manager doesn't respond to emails until you send multiple, they didnt return phone calls , workman rock up around 9 or later are on their phone more then they work , the concrete has more cracks then the Bruce highway , the uncovered form work pickets set up by… Read more

concreter ripped my dogs rear end costing us $1052 in vet bill no one offered any money off the concreting cost to reimburse us , it took me weeks of phone calls emails and finally with holding my final account payment before they came and fixed the issues and yet they still didn't fix all.of them .. So do yourself a favour and look at other shed builders in Townsville

lack of communication and poor after sale service – Company made no effort to check up after finished job done, sent video of sheets flapping in the wind, not fitted properly, seller just laughed it off. Shed installer only turned up 4 hours a day ( only worked from 10am to 2pm ) he's battery tools were always flat, only positive side was the guy who cleared the block and the concreters. Would not recommend or use again.

Unlimited delays – Fantastic to start with on initial consult and planning, constant excuses to not being able to commit to build, unlimited delays and last minute no shows. Poor quality product missing some bolts and trek screws and top hat to finish front of building – Purchased a steel shed 11 mts x 11 mts x 3.6 x 20 degrees roof. Signed contract at Geelong Sheds told and got in contract that delivery was free! Informed them three times that it was a 6 hour drive in East Gippsland, Club Terrace 3889. Paid for shed requested extra bolts and screws as it is a 2 hour drive each way to Bairnsdale to get bolts etc… Read more

if short. Informed there would be plenty left over. Then was informed that delivery wasn’t free but added cost of $1000.00 extra. Ended up short of main bolts and trek screws and top hat. Some z purlins bent and c channel not square. Instructions hopeless. Wouldn’t deal or recommend this company to anyone. Would only give it half a star but unable too. Stay clear of Fair dinkum sheds. Poorly formed structural parts – Purchased from Just Sheds/Fair Dinkum Sheds at Wacol around July. I won't go into the construction process, but suffice to say it took over 5 days for 2 guys to put an 8 x 3.5 shed together. Regardless of that, I am stuck with quality issues due to the poorly formed parts that were supplied by Stramit Crestmead. Z and C beams warped, out of… Read more

square. C posts are splayed out at the bottom, Z beams that the panels mount to are nowhere near 90 degree angle bends, or worse they are 90 degrees in some places and splayed out or deformed at the ends. Stramit has some serious quality issues and the salesman at Wacol even mentioned they had had words with Stramit about the quality of components in the past. Well unfortunately I am stuck with it. Pictures in order show 1. angled z beams have caused the external cladding to buckle 2. z beam from internal showing it is around 85 degrees bend not 90. 3. another pic of internal z beam. 4. z beams at each end of the roof had to be squished down flat on top just so the top of the roof and the ridge capping would not kick up. 5. C post showing splaying out at base. 6. Roofing screw on bad angle. Other assembly issue is that the insulation should have been attached with double-sided tape, but they used normal hex head screws. Of course with the cladding bolted on over those screws they stick out like the proverbial - I have fixed as many as I could myself as I had enough of the 'fix-it' crews work by day 6 of assembly I was totally over it. Even the slab has heaps of plastic subsidence cracks, they finished working it around 2 pm on a stinking hot dry windy day but didn't put any plastic or other cover over it to stop it from drying out too fast. Overall I am extremely disappointed. They only just get a three star... based on that they put quite some effort into addressing my concerns, but when the components are faulty there is only so much that can be done... One day I will get up on the roof and re-screw the roofing screws that are on the wrong angle.

Dream Shouse! – I designed our Shouse and had the blue prints drawn for it and then ordered it through Select A Shed in Orange NSW. The service was fantastic and so is the quality of the materials. We are so in love with our 3 bedroom 'Shouse on the hill'. Highly recommended!! Show reply

don't buy one of these – I bought my shed in Feb the original plans were wrong so I had to re dig the footings, good job I hadn't had a concrete pad pored. corner molds were wrong, gutters were short, ridge cap was short. we have received the correct corner mold but are still waiting for gutters and ridgecap. It is now mid July, the local distributor promised that the bits were to be delivered today. they didn't arrive again!!

Cannot deliver on promise – Had a 12x7 4 bay shed built, one of the roller door motors wouldn’t fit, shed builders said “it would be easy enough to move the door but the boss can get a slimmer motor” well it’s been 3 months and still no motor. Apparently there is no slimmer motor.

Cannot deliver on promises – Had a 12x7 shed built, 1 slim line roller door opener wouldn’t fit and was basically told to bad, won’t fit. Not that impressed with the service. I came up with a solution but haven’t heard back since. They have put it in the to hard basket and won’t fix their mistake.

Very POOR plan & supply errors - don't buy one ! No Star rating – Quaker style shed 8x8.5m. Bathurst Sheds were helpful in the planning, & purchasing stages & tried to assist initially with the problems, but soon gave up. Plans were incorrect - positioning of braces across the mezzanine floor is impossible (of course) & mullions were across the middle of a window. Revised plans still had errors. Supply… Read more

issues - incorrect steel lengths, 4 columns had to be replaced by the distributor, screws were rubbish (we had to purchase more $134), no metal angles provided to stabilize the end wall sheets to purlins, one roof sheet was too short. On & on the problems occurred. No - one was willing to assist with instructions how to fit a standard roller door with mezzanine bearers in the way - we had to work this out ourselves & had a blacksmith supply extra columns which have worked. For a costly shed, we incurred extra costs. Don't go with Fair Dinkum. Find another company. The finished shed does look great, but what a drama for 4 weeks.

Fantastic help and follow up – We had an issue with what i thought was the electric opener on a 4 1/2 yr old shed. Tried the phone number on the unit. No good. Rang fair dinkum sheds and the girl assured me she would get in touch with the people who erected it. Long story short they drove 50km, adjusted things, fixed the issue AT NO CHARGE. Couldn't even get them to have a cuppa. Old fashioned great service. Highly recommended. Show reply

Buyers beware – If you have any damage with your garage on delivery don’t expect to much help from this company. Lame excuses and a very small amount of compensation. Buyers beware!
