Do not use the builder for Total span Hobart. Never turns up when he says he will, does not contact you to say he can't make it and takes your money and doesn't complete the job . If you go with these guys get your own builder. Total span head office have been very good.
Follow-up · Do not use All about sheds Tasmania he was attached to Total span but I believe he is no longer. He takes your money for the build and never does the work. He always had some excuse, car broke down, family issues, workers sick and the list goes on. I ended up getting a very good builder so the job is now complete. It has been going on since July. Nothing but positive comments from start to finish. The design was a somewhat out of the ordinary to match the metal profile on an architect designed house. Overhanging eves, inline portals on half height block walls on one side to save space and build into hill side, contemporary metal profiles etc. Nothing was to much trouble for the contractor they arranged to complete the build. they were rude, dismissive, and constantly blamed everyone else for their shocking build quality instead of taking any responsibility.
The workmanship itself was horrendous, so bad that the entire shed had to be torn down and rebuilt. What should have been a straightforward project ended up dragging on just over a year. In the meantime, they left our yard an absolute mess: rubbish, offcuts, and screws just thrown into the grass, creating hazards for our kids and pets. Zero care, zero respect.
And to top it off, one owner proved himself to be an individual who hides behind excuses instead of facing customers.
This company also has a history of penalties and infringements with the QBCC. Don’t take our word for it, check their licence numbers with QBCC and see for yourself. There was no attempt at rectifying any of our 43 issues until we contacted QBCC. That’s when the blame game started.
I have plenty of photos of the mess and the poor workmanship if anyone wants proof.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Save yourself the stress, money, and frustration, there are far better builders in Mackay who actually take pride in their work and respect their customers.

contractors just to get the slab laid, which significantly delayed the project. To make matters worse, parts of the shed have been sitting on my front lawn for over three months now, creating an eyesore and adding to the frustration.
I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of reliability and professionalism shown by Total Span Ipswich. Based on my experience, I would not recommend their services to anyone looking for a timely and hassle-free shed installation.

Damaged, missing, customer service appalling! – We received half our shed a month late. Had to wait 48 hours for them to find(!) the other half and deliver that.
