Cost a fortune but the product was cheap and broken after just 1 year – We spent $12000 to have fair price blinds do all the curtains and blinds in our brand new home. Just over a year after they were all installed the outdoor blind completely came out of the wall and was broken. We were told the warranty was only 1 year and we had to pay to have someone come fix this blind. When you spend that much money you expect the product that last a lot more than 1 year.

Disappointed – I had blackout blinds measured and installed. They do not keep out the light and I'm now experiencing 5 am wakeups from my baby and toddler. I attempted to resolve the issue with the manager and consultant and the issue has not been addressed or resolved until now. I wanted to support a smaller business. Not happy – Had blinds put on all our windows of our new house firstly their is a gap between the the windows and the sliding doors which were told their wouldn’t be when they come two blinds were wrong and l didn’t feel the apology was really a apology than just recently one of the cords broke and the wrong was brought in yes the guy was nice enough he fix a different way but still l wouldn’t recommend them Show details

the blinds were installed with no issues and very professional installation standard, i will be purchasing any more blinds i require from this company any time in the future, i am not family or have any personal interest to support this company, apart from being a very satisfied customer.

7 months later and still no blinds – We ordered plantation shutters and paid the deposit at the end of august 2019. They gave us an install date for November 2019. They never contacted us we had to call them for them to say they were water damaged on arrival into Australia. week of the appointment we call them to confirm the date and time, spoke with the receptionist again, she had no record of our appointment, so we required a call back... Again, nobody contacted us, we had to call again, eventually Danielle / Danny the consultant called us back, set the appointment for measure and quote. Got the visit, got the measurements, business cards, all smiles and everyone happy, that was two weeks ago, and guess what... Have not received a quote yet I flatly refuse to call them again. I get it, they need double calls for everything, but not this time... My business goes somewhere else!

AVOID at all costs!!! Worst service! – 12 weeks for installation, given excuse after excuse. No compensation for transportation issues, just told to wait another 12 weeks! Not offered due frieght or local supplier to do the work. Zero professionalism. Customer service offered zero compensation. colleagues going through similar issues - 4 attempts at installation and it still not right! I was lucky enough to get a refund! Do not Bother – My husband and I had previously used Fair Price and we were more than happy, however things have gone down hill badly. My Blinds took Twice as long as I was told. Installer couldn’t finish job as he didnt bring everything needed. Calls never get returned. Would never recommend this company to anyone !! – This company Is full of excuses.... they take your money and then take months to install. I noticed their “good” reviews are years old and probably written by family members. I am furious with this company and would rate them -5 for professionalism. Even recommended where we could get suitable coverings for window till blinds arrived. When the installer came ask to wash his hands to not mark the blinds while handling them, and even used a cover over hands while installation carried out. Could not recommend this company and the product highly enough.

Some excellent staff on board – After initial problems, Tanisha and new manager have turned things around and made things happen. Looking forward to seeing my new blind up in the new year. someone else rather than the normal quote coordinator - Danni I think. No one is getting back to me. Have rung the office and the mobile number provided by the receptionist. Unfortunately Fair Price has lost a $4000 job because I've made the decision to go with Classic Shutters, who were extremely professional in their dealings and the quote reasonable, just remains to be seen if all goes well with the manufacture and install. :)

Furthermore, I'm not sure why Fair Price don't look and reply to reviews on this site - most other companies are proactive and actually answer or provide reasons to reviewer's issues, or thank them for their time to review their product.

are measured & made to fit, so it does take a few weeks for your new blinds to arrive, but this is a good thing. The fit of the blinds was PERFECT & installation was done by a real pro (Bruno). He knows his stuff!! I have given a 5 star rating, which is only my second one on here. SA owned & operated also, which was the bonus.

None better – They fully understand your needs. The quality of material and labour is the best. They even fixed a mistake by one of their competitors at no cost to me. You certainly will not be disappointed I can certainly recommended them

all our windows were anything but square and the wooden frames were quite bowed in places but no one would ever know now. Fair Price were not the cheapest quote and there is an approximate 10 - 12 week wait but it was well worth paying the extra and well worth the wait . We also had new carpet installed in our family room last year and a roller blind also installed by Fair Price last year so definitely recommend them to anyone wanting shutters, blinds and carpets.

Shutters, just remember they do take about 10 weeks in production, but it's well worth the wait. I think $5K of Shutters (that's 6 windows) has added $15K or more to my house value, without a doubt.

When I was visited by Kathy from the Sales team, there was no pushy sales talk, she just showed me exactly what I asked to see, showed me many photos and samples & answered my questions. You pay "half" when you place the order and the other "half" when they are installed. Perfect, I had some time to save up for the second "half"!!

The installer was extremely particular (fussy in fact!) and installed them to the exact millimetre (which meant the two fellas that came by to do the measurements also did an exact job!).

I expected more – I spent over $5000 on plantation shutters (and over $6000 in total) and there has been an instillation warranty problem. He told me it was an 'easy fix' that I could probably do myself. When I spend this amount of money I expect to have it last longer than 12 months. There was a massive delay with installation as the blinds came from China. They do not manufacture, they do not install, they do however take your money and refuse to help with after sales service.

They were local so I used them, but never again. I am extremely disappointed with the service or lack thereof.

Top quality blinds and great service! – This is the first time we've used Fair Price and we are very happy with the quality of the blinds and service. George the sales consultant was very knowledgable and spent plenty of time with us as we made our selections. Bruno did a great job installing them! We've had many good comments from friends and family. We would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

Excellent Service – We have used Fair Price several times. We've had two lots of ziptrak blinds installed as well as crimsafe doors. They were the only company to be able to organise safe, effective and lockable screens for our bay window. We would use them again

Buyer beware – Purchased roller shutter $1,000 worth, wanted convert manual control to battery, Fair price refused to do as it was not cost effective, they should advertise they won't upgrade.

Expensive after sales service – I just paid $120 upfront call out fee for a new spring loaded clip to be placed on one of my plantation shutter's slats. It took seconds to replace and the clip really shouldn't have broken in less than two years of wear. It is the first time a business has requested payment prior to the call out.
