5 trevor squire  · Fallen wildpeak – I’ve had two sets now 130 kms first one now at 40 on the second and set no warier yet?
1 josh  · Low quality, no manufacture support – Mine started to split at 30000klm. No off road and Falken dont want to know about it
5 Michael  · Best all terrains I've owned – Next to no road noise. No noticeable extra fuel consumption. Great tyre on and off road
5 Craig  · Great tyres, as expected based on description – Does what it says on the box, my biggest surprise is the low road noise.

I've been running these tyres for a little over 3 years now on my six wheeler and have nothing but praise for them. I find them great in the wet (maybe the 3.8 tonnes helps) and the dry. Off road they are amazing in the sand and rough dirt roads and tracks. I don't do rock crawling so i cannot comment on that with the exception that aren't… Read more

aggressive mud tyres! They're pretty quiet for an All terrain and are coming up to 40K and are about half worn, so if I can get 70K out of them I'll be extremely happy.

Whilst I can not fault these tyres both on and off road I am going to be lucky to get 35k out of them as the wear can only be described as appauling. Tow a small off road caravan 30 % off road use the rest highway so 35k is totally unacceptable. Great off road grip minimal noise never had a puncture so 10 out of 10 there. 35k not good enough… Read more

regularly rotated and balanced fastidious with tyre pressures but hasn't helped sort fulkan but won't be using your brand again.

Wildpeak pajero – A serious off road tyre. Great tread design, quite on road . Bit more expensive but worth it. Super grippy in all conditions. I've had Toyo Open Country AT2 -LT ( great tyre) for 4wd before so I'd thought I'd give these a go on a black Friday deal from cluse bros Tyre Power. 265/ 60 R18 Show details

Wild Peak tyres are fantastic – Put a set on my Navara about 2 years ago.. Have put around 30000ks on them.. Been off-road in mountainous conditions over Fraser Island, driven in torrential Queensland rain many times.. They have performed excellent in all conditions.. I think there greatest trait is there wet condition traction. Fantastic in the rain. Also nice and quiet.. I… Read more

will buy them again definitely. I recommend them to people every chance I get.. Buy them.. Trust them. Best bang for buck 4x4 tyre on the market by far..

These tyers boss level, A1 – I've had these tyers on for the last 30,000ks. They are fantastic in the wet weather as I live in regonal Victoria and that's a must out here. They are A1 when it comes to durability and wear rate, they still have thousands of ks of life in them. Off road They perform perfectly, good side wall tread and you can get them down to a very low psi. All round a smart safe choice of tyer. Show details

Safety, Stylish, Super – I’ve had these on my car for one month now. The performance and handling these offer. As well as piece of mind in the wet are unprecedented and hard to contend with against other brands. Definitely recommend wild peaks to my four wheeling buddies. Show details

Will be putting these tyres on my ute again – Bought the Falken Wildpeak AT3W to replace the stock Dunlops on my Ford Ranger which wore well but were dangerous in the wet. The Falkens have the most remarkable amount of grip on wet and slippery roads, they are almost like a snow tyre and I look forward to trying them out in the snow. They have good grip offroad on rutted climbs and muddy… Read more ·  1

tracks, they will take the Ranger through anything it can handle clearance-wise, even better if you drop the pressures down. They are quiet on the road, only a smidge noisier than the standard HT tyres. Fuel economy did suffer slightly, although the trade off for the wet-road grip was well worth it. So far I have done almost 20000k's with them and they seem to be wearing quite well. Update 2024 - now at over 80000kms and these tyres still have about 10000kms on them. The grip levels are still just as good on road, and now seem to be about as quiet as normal road tyres on my ute. Can't wait to get a new set now.

best tyres I've had so far – Bought a new set for Hilux 2016 SR5 , 18" rims ,then proceeded 3 days later on a 5000K trip round all over central western and Northern QLD inc. a Cape York west to east crossing All up approx. 2000K of dirt , bulldust , gravel, sand and and dried out mud ridged roads with washouts etc. (throw in a few water crossings!) + 3000K of various bitumen… Read more ·  1

roads. i.e we really gave these a workout ! Probably should have aired down fractionally on the rough stuff , but they rode so well I didnt. In fact we didnt air down once and these tyres performed flawlessly. Not a cut ,scratch or mark on them and we travelled some very ordinary roads and tracks. As an ATR they are also great in the wet having spent 9 hours straight driving through pouring rain (on bitumen) they handled very well. Previously had Bridgestone Dueler 697's, and in my humble opinion the Falken Wildpeak's are a better tyre, which should also last longer. Cant fault them so far and would highly recommend. Good all round tyre. Not noisy, look good on the lux too, which is a bonus.

Love these tyres – Update, as at 23 Jul 24 and 2nd tire rotation. Have now clocked 21K, the tires are wearing evenly nothing weird developing. I remain impressed how the tires continue to grip our local winter roads, there is no signs of hardening. I strongly recommend these to those needing an alpine (winter) tyre. Update to below, as at 8 Jul 23. Just clocked 10K… Read more

and negligible wear. I remain very impressed. In the past, tyres I have owned harden in winter, providing less traction. Not these WildPeaks. They do everything, I expect from a tyre, given the conditions I drive them under.

I live in a mountainous sub-alpine area with lots of steep and winding roads. I am very hard on tyres, both on sealed and dirt roads; I frequently use 4x4 . I've never gotten more than 49K out of a set of tyres. I've tried many different brands, some have poor traction in the wet, some over or understeer, wear unevenly, balance poorly, break away in the rear as they age or float. I did a lot of research before buying, and this is the first time I've run the Falken WildPeaks. I am very surprised at how well they handle. I'm impressed, I've not driven on a better tyre. If they continue to perform, and I can get better than 45K, these will be my new 'go to' tyre.

Quality tyre for general road use which will not let you down off road – Was recommended this tyre by my local City Discount store. They have been excellent value and I have not noticed any road noise during use. Have been so happy with these (on a SWB Pajero) that I have put the same brand on my wife's Mazda 3 (Ziex instead of Wildpeak). They have also proved to be an excellent choice. Show details

Great grip, but didn’t last too long – Bought a set of these for my 2021 Hilux SR5. I never tow, and hardly ever go off road. Tyres have been rotated and looked after at correct pressures etc. Tread depth after 45,000km is now borderline legal. I might squeeze another 5,000km out of them if I’m lucky. Grip is awesome on road - both dry and wet, and also amazing on gravel roads, but I would have expected them to last a bit longer. Show details

Looks great, travels well, but lasted just 50K – After just 48,000 Km's the back 2 tyres are down to the tread wear indicator. The front 2 are a little better but I doubt I'll get 50K out of them. Travel was always on highways, mostly in the city. I did some towing of a 2.7t caravan but wouldn't have done more than 5K that way. Overall - not impressed. Show details

Wearing Quickly on rear of Ranger towing Caravan – Was impressed with earlier reviews so bought 4 in June 2022 for Ranger 4WD. Was initially impressed with grip and ride especially in wet. BUT now after 13 months (20000 klms) towing a 3 tonne caravan and car loaded at 3 tonne have found the front tyres are Wearing well BUT the rear tyres are almost shot. Perhaps the sway of the van and towing… Read more

weight Start Up has a big impact but not happy with the mileage at all on the rear. Done probably 500klms of really bad dirt rocky road. One tyre shattered going to Wolffe Ck Meteor crater. 40lbs in front 50lbs in rear most of the time. If less than 50lbs in rear ,bulging of sidewalls occurs asking for side wall damage/staking. They were good in sand/beach driving. Would buy them again when not on savage rocky /gibber roads and not towing constantly. BUT for now will be looking for something with more durability for rear of Ranger.

Best AT since the discontinued Mickey Thomson STZ – I drive the outback for a living and am based in Alice Springs. Over the last 35 years I've driven around 600,000k on bitumen out here and about 300,000k purely on dirt. "bang for your buck" AT tyres and I'm now on the Falken Wildpeaks, made in Japan I believe. A great, long wearing compound, strong sidewalls, sits up straight on the highway at 130+ Best AT I've come across since the Mickey Thomson STZs which they no longer make. Just back from a job for BBC up in the Gulf and flogged them, mud, deep sand (uphill), loose rock, near vertical climbs up and down, water crossings etc.

Quiet and capable – I've had the AT3Ws on the SUV for about a month and they are a marked improvement on the previous tyres. So much quieter on the highway, but are capable off road - only muddies would outperform these tyres off road. - and despite them being marketed as all-rounder tyres, they still sport an aggressive looking tread pattern and look good. - very happy so far, and I expect these will last longer than my previous tyres. Show details ·  3

Wearing too fast – After doing a lot of research I decided to put a set of these on our 2021 Xterrain before we departed on our lap around Australia towing our 2.8ton caravan. Great A/T Tyres but Prone to Punctures – I have these on my 4WD and they perform really well, they have good off-road grip whatever the surface and they perform impressively at lower pressures. On-road they are quiet and are wearing well and they perform impressively in the wet although I have had the back break away a couple of times on roundabouts likely due to spilled diesel or oil. … Read more

The biggest issue I have with these tyres is that they are prone to punctures and I have had to repair several punctures and a stick pierced the sidewall.

I have dropped my rating to 3 stars because I am getting sick of punctures. The tyres are great off-road and grip really well but they are just too soft and puncture all the time, mostly from road debris like screws and nails but, also from sticks and stems.

UPDATE* I'm shocked, there are loads of tread left on my tyres but I am replacing them, but, I am not replacing my tyres with Falken Wildpeak and here is why. I have lots of tread left on my tyres, they are wearing well but they have so many punctures that they look like pin cushions. They perform impressively off-road but when you get a small stick piercing your sidewall, you have to ask, why is that? Yes, the sidewall, are so soft, a small stick just pushes right through. Not good enough in my opinion, so I am going to try some Laufenn tyres which have protection from punctures.
