Quality tyre for general road use which will not let you down off road.

Was recommended this tyre by my local City Discount store. They have been excellent value and I have not noticed any road noise during use. Have been so happy with these (on a SWB Pajero) that I have put the same brand on my wife's Mazda 3 (Ziex instead of Wildpeak). They have also proved to be an excellent choice.

Purchased in at City Discount.

Falken AT3

The falken wildpeak AT3 tyre are reliable and durable.
I had them on my previous ranger. Both sets lasted, first set I got roughly 150k km and second set I got up to 260k km on the do before trading in my ranger for an Everest.
They have been on the Everest since 10k km. and I rotate them every 15k km.
awesome for sand driving never been bogged when dropping the PSI down to 16-18.
Great in wet weather no slip outs and I feel safe on the road with them

Purchased in at Tempe Tyres for $345.

These tyers boss level, A1

I've had these tyers on for the last 30,000ks.
They are fantastic in the wet weather as I live in regonal Victoria and that's a must out here.
They are A1 when it comes to durability and wear rate, they still have thousands of ks of life in them.
Off road They perform perfectly, good side wall tread and you can get them down to a very low psi.
All round a smart safe choice of tyer.

Purchased for $1,600.

Safety, Stylish, Super.

I’ve had these on my car for one month now. The performance and handling these offer. As well as piece of mind in the wet are unprecedented and hard to contend with against other brands.

Definitely recommend wild peaks to my four wheeling buddies.

Excellent product.

I purchased these tyres based on experience with my brother in law. I had the GVM upgraded on my own vehicle, 79 series Landcruiser and need A/T tyres that are load rated. My brother in law has these on his vehicle, same as mine. They are a strong, robust looking tyre. Handle well on the road with minimal noise. They have been used off road with a heavy load on the upgraded vehicle carrying tools for a mechanic and auto electrician. Pressures were up to 70 psi at times ( on board tyre pressure monitoring system ). Good feel from the road and expect quite a few K's from these tyres.

Great grip, but didn’t last too long

Bought a set of these for my 2021 Hilux SR5. I never tow, and hardly ever go off road. Tyres have been rotated and looked after at correct pressures etc. Tread depth after 45,000km is now borderline legal. I might squeeze another 5,000km out of them if I’m lucky. Grip is awesome on road - both dry and wet, and also amazing on gravel roads, but I would have expected them to last a bit longer.

Looks great, travels well, but lasted just 50K

After just 48,000 Km's the back 2 tyres are down to the tread wear indicator. The front 2 are a little better but I doubt I'll get 50K out of them. Travel was always on highways, mostly in the city. I did some towing of a 2.7t caravan but wouldn't have done more than 5K that way. Overall - not impressed.

over rated

265 75 16 on a gu patrol . Dry tar grip is good not stellar , wet tar grip is poor but its an all terrain and non of them are good on wet tar . Dry off road grip is excellent , wet off road grip is ok when pressures are lowered however once you get to below 30 psi they bag really badly . i have to run 40 or more on road or they bag out like crazy . My biggest gripe is noise . i also have km 3 mud terrains for when i do any serious wet off road work and they arn`t much louder if at at all on some surfaces . wont buy these again il be going with yokohama geolander g015 for better on road manners

120,000 km and still going

After much research I purchased these for my Isuzu MU-X, this was nearly 4 years ago. They have now completed 120,000 km (road/highway kms only) and still have life in them! I'll be replacing them with the same, very impressed.

Will be putting these tyres on my ute again.

Bought the Falken Wildpeak AT3W to replace the stock Dunlops on my Ford Ranger which wore well but were dangerous in the wet. The Falkens have the most remarkable amount of grip on wet and slippery roads, they are almost like a snow tyre and I look forward to trying them out in the snow. They have good grip offroad on rutted climbs and muddy tracks, they will take the Ranger through anything it can handle clearance-wise, even better if you drop the pressures down. They are quiet on the road, only a smidge noisier than the standard HT tyres. Fuel economy did suffer slightly, although the trade off for the wet-road grip was well worth it. So far I have done almost 20000k's with them and they seem to be wearing quite well.

I tow a large caravan, never off road, are these tyres worth considering

grant
grant ·

They will do absolutely fine for your needs but for the sake of fuel economy you're probably better off going for a highway biased tyre such as the Wildpeak HT

I have got a Holden Trailblazer and the stock tyres need replacing but I need a tyre that is good for both on road (80%) and off road as well as low noise level on bitumen and also good for towing. Would the Falken tyre tick all these boxes?
