Im in NZ and buy the farmers market chicken and freeze dried dog food because it says it is made in NZ but I’m not sure where the meat is sourced from. Can you please let me know if it is Australian lamb and beef. Also my dog loves this but I am worried about how much she has started drinking water. Is this product high in sodium? developed a cough but we did not associate it with the dog food. Owner suspected heart worm. Heart worm test negative. Owner declined lung x ray and opted for a 7 day course of steroids. Dog ate more dry dog food and was drinking more and cough went away. When steroids were ceased cough returned but not as bad. The dog was listless, no energy and developed diarrhoea. Began refusing dry dog food. I fed him chicken etc (no bones) to get him eating something. He started eating the dry dog food again and ate his evening meal. He was ok in the morning and went outside to toilet. Came back in and lay down at the end of his owner’s bed. When I checked on him in the afternoon he was still there... dead. I haven’t had a chance to shop and ran out of my regular dog food so I fed my border collie Farmer’s Market... from a freshly opened bag and within 10 minutes he had regurgitated it back up, was laying down drooling and panting heavily. He also kept going back and forth to the water bowl to drink. So now I’m suspecting the dog food is doing this. The two other dogs here are fine and not eating Farmers Market.

Great affordable option – My dog loved this food! The individual kibble is a great size, and we fed it to him normally, as well as part of training. The small size makes it really easy to manage serving sizes while doing that. Importantly, my dog didn't have any negative side effects of the food and the transition was really easy. This is an average dry food my picky eater didn't love – My picky eater Jack Russell came around to this food in the end but getting her to entertain it was a bit of a challenge. Overall I'd say this was just ok. It is good value for money if your dog doesn't mind this kibble.

Dog liked it but prefer my usual brand – This dog food was fine and my dog enjoyed eating it, but for some reason as with the other items tried with these free samples my dog had quite a lot of gas. Purfect nibbles for a fussy eater – It looks like our fussy staffy has found the food she likes. So after eating her chilled food she goes for a nibble of her dry food.
