Fantastic Fridge – I bought this fridge back in 2014 and it's been working perfectly fine since then. Low maintenance with great looking fridge, beautifully designed. Very spacious and easy to clean. Nothing to fault – Works fine. However when the fridge is too full, the back compartment starts to freezes food and drinks. The fridge is easy to clean as the panels are made of tempered glass. As for noise, it is not too bad as noise from other appliances seem to be louder. Overall it is good.  Show details

Does a great job, just small issues – This fridge has been mostly reliable, and easy to use/adjust. Keeps reliable even temperatures. However, the plastic insert above the fridge crisper compartments is very flimsy and is constantly an annoyance, and there was one instance where in hot weather combined with the fridge being a little too close to the wall behind the motor became loud and apparently stressed, however it resumed normal operations shortly after.  Show details

Great Refrigerator – Very nice looking fridge, easy to clean glass shelves. You have to regulate the temperature or it freezers things towards the back. Once you work that out, you won't have a problem. Large drawers for your frozen items and I love the ice cube section great idea to keep them level and not thrown in with your frozen items. Great Purchase – It is a perfect fridge/freezer for keeping my food in good condition. It is reasonably quiet and is very easy to clean. It has plenty of space in the freezer and I love the bottle holders that come with the fridge for easy wine/drink bottle storage. The removable tray (under the fruit/veg bins) makes it easy to serve large pre prepared delicacies at parties.  Show details

Overall a good fridge – This is a great fridge, does the job. Had an old F&P fridge that lasted 10 years so decided to stick to the same brand. Bought On special, with extended warranty. myself. Lots of reviews about the noise, it is a bit noisy but not all the time. Maybe once every couple of hours you will hear the motor humming away or the occasional loud crack but nothing dramatic. We have a baby in the house in a bassinette in the living room and it's never woken him up. You can't hear it from the other room. We did have an issue with the fan after only 3 months which we had to call a service technician for. My only complaint was that the guy who came was rude and didn't explain what he was doing or what was wrong. The least he could do was explain to me why the fridge had failed after such a short time. Anyway just have been a faulty part. It was fixed in less than 10 minutes and has been working perfectly since. I've had the fridge for about 18 months now.

Good fridge overall – The first one I purchased had a very noisy motor. F&P were very good at coming straight out and trying to fix it but a few days later it was noisy again. Nice fridge which initially was noisey, but after some adjustment we have a quieter fridge – Have only had this fridge for a week now. Replaced our old Westinghouse because the seals were going & it was too noisy! again for a while. It goes in cycles with its noise. Because it is in the middle of the house, not a big house & mostly open plan, I feel I can hear it nearly everywhere. Its driving me crazy as this was the reason why we replaced the old fridge, because I couldn't stand the noise! One month later - We have now adjusted the height (unscrewing little feet at the bottom of fridge) at the front of the fridge which has reduced the noise level, it looks like it slightly tilts back. So giving it another star as its much quieter now.

So happy – After over a year of struggling with the previous purchase finally I could afford to replace it. We have had the F&P for about 10 days and it answers all my requirements. There were some issues with the delivery subcontractors and when I contacted the store, the sales rep offered to come and double check the installation for me.

The absolute worst, 3 fridges later and it still isn't right – I had this fridge given to me as a gift 12 months ago. The first fridge was purchased from a Harvey Norman outlet and did not work, it just would not produce any cool air. I was told by Harvey Norman I would have to wait a week for a new one. was broken and it had a giant scratch on the front panel. As a week had passed Harvey Norman no longer took responsibility and I had to contact Fisher and Paykel for a new fridge again (number 3). Fisher and Paykel sent out a new fridge which is working but ridiculously loud. Every 5 minutes it rattles. I downloaded an app to test the sound and it reaches 60 decibels +. I havn't even bothered contacting them about this issue as I don't expect it will get any better. I had to jump hoops witch customer service and bug them for 2 months to pay for the cost of all the food I lost, which was about $500. Fisher and Paykel customer service did send a $200 cheque to their credit. But I did have to send in photos and list all the brands and prices of the products I had bought as I don't keep receipts for longer than two weeks. Overall I would not recommend this particular fridge, in saying that past Fisher and Paykel products have been quite good but I will not purchase any of their fridges ever again.
