Where is the filter on this machine?
Can you please confirm the electrical draw this machine has when operating. I want to know if I can run this as the same time as a dryer on the same double power point. The dryer is a F&P DE5060M1 if you can also confirm what this unit draws when in use.

That’s sounds like an error code. put it in google in this format 1 being on and 0 being off for example if the first and third wash light where on the first rinse light and the spin light are on, on the wash progress bar you would write 10100101. Hi, I bought one of these many years ago, although I still think of it as 'new', it's developed a single fault where it always fills to the top of the machine no matter what level the water level sensor is set to. What's the likely fault and fix for this? It's the low tech version, the QuickSmart, with no auto-sensing, etc, aka the 92103-A.
I never had this specific problem but we had a 6kg w/m for about 14 years and it started to play up by making beeping noises. I had a technician out and he identified the problem as the electronics system. He could have replaced the electronics but it would have cost about $400 and no guarantee that something else may break down so we decided to put that money towards a new machine for around $800. So, I suggest you need to get a technician out and you will then know if your w/m is worth repairing or if it's time to 'put-it-out-to-pasture'.

Power button doesn't turn machine on, it does 3 flashes
The power button turns my 6kg F&P machine on and then the first wash cycle light flashes until a wash length is selected. Yours may have a fault which would be covered under the warranty.
After electronics being saturated with water, I dried it out with a hair dryer and reinstalled the panels. It now has 3 flashing lights at 3,4,5. What does this indicate?
I like to ask someone who owns a MW513. How does the agitator of this model work? In some sources it said some machines have their agitators moving back and forth to effect rubbing clothings against each other. On the other hand this machine may have a different design. Its agitator simply rotates in one single direction. Is that truly the case with a MW513? People said you can simply know by turning the agitator. If it locks before a full turn that means it is designed to move back and forth.
I have found that every 2nd wash or so i do now is completely covered in lint almost destroying my items as it is then basically impossible to ever really remove it all from items. I tried all troubleshooting suggestions ; running an empty wash on high in hot. Did the same again including white vinegar to clean the interior. Removed the lid and cleaned all of the inside drum. Unscrewed the agitator removed it scrubbed down & painstakingly removed all of the trapped lint throughout all the holes all the way down the interior of the agitator (which seems really disgusting to be happening at all.) Returned the as new agitator & 2 washes later every item is coated in lint again. Why is there no lint filter on this machine? Had I known this I would NEVER pay for this product.

Oh no, Katsieb! What a thorough investigation you’ve done to no avail! I’m sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction with the machine after I’ve given it such a good review. I’m very very happy with mine and haven’t had any lint problems at all.
This model has a lint filter katsieb, it’s supposed to separate out the lint and flush it separately at the end - I would contact Fisher Paykel ASAP, as it sounds like yours is faulty. Have seen a couple of other reviews like yours, so may be a known problem, possibly with a specific batch. No there isn't. Maybe the newer model does,Automatic lint disposal is explained as lint flushed out with the water. It does not work. You can buy the lint filter from F&P for over $50 but it is not included.
seems there are lots of questions for this quicksmart machine but no quick and smart answers when the spin cycle will not intitiate. our machine purchased in january and has failed already because a DB sheet and 2 pillowcases were out of balance. redistributing the load did not work.
That did happen with sheets but no problem once redistributed. I had no problems with my first FP 5.5kg that's why I purchased a second one. My new 6kg is so far terrific.
would you believe Nise, my wife came in after two goes of my own and a i said to her, "no Luck, it still doesnt spin out but go ahead and do a load, ill just hang it out all wet." she put on a fairly big load, no bigger than ususal and we kept an eye on it for the whole time. the temperamental thing went right through to the end including the spin cycles for rinse and finish. work that one out. where is the lint disposable waste in this machine?and if it is internal I will like to know how it works ,because eventually could block the machine...I just bought this machine...I have always clean the waste in my other ones...

Hi I have a quicksmart MW513 and lint is left on my black clothes. Is there a lint filter I can clean? If so how do I do this. Thanks :)
There is no lint filter available to you. It is internal to the machine and suppose to automatically empty. In your case it appears to clogged. I suggest that you run a high-water-level hot wash and see if that will clean it. I run one of these at least once a month. Otherwise put a microfibre cloth in with the load to pick up all the lint.
I have just moved house. I tried to wash today using my very reliable F&P MW513. It washed and rinsed but cut out completely when it reached ‘spin’ and about 1min 30 it tries again but then stops. It just keeps going in this loop. Doesn’t seem to be able to spin. Any thoughts?
