Does not sync with phone
On the odd occasion it will sync with my phone and send messages, even though my Bluetooth says it is connected. All the settings are correct. I wouldn't recommend Fitbit. There are much better options out there.

My versa 3 stopped syncing about 5 months after I purchased it. That's when I met one of the most incompetent support agents I've ever encountered. Yes, agents - plural. Some of the bright ideas they gave me: don't be near other Bluetooth devices (WTHHH?!?!), disconnect all Bluetooth devices from my iPhone and lastly, disconnect all my devices from my WIFI network so Fitbit can connect and update.
Never mind the fact that I have 20 devices around the house that works just fine other than the stupid fitbit until 3 days ago - they still insist I do all these to consider a replacement. I would have to spend the next day reconnecting all my devices!
Avoid at all costs.

Fitbit Versa 3
I purchased the Fitbit versa 3 one week ago and for the first couple of days enjoyed being able to answer calls from the phone and for 1 day was able to receive text messages. I checked on web for help to fix loss of messages, and turned off phone and watch when this didn't help did a factory reset, this worked for 1 day. However I am now unable to even sync my watch. I have done a factory reset and when this did not work reinstalled the Fitbit app but does not connect on Bluetooth and pairing page. I downloaded the Fitbit app on another phone ...to check if it was the phone but had the same result. Very disappointed. I had originally purchased a Samsung watch but this was not compatible with my phone to receive messages, but at least it did not keep loosing Bluetooth connection.

Best affordable smart watch for Android users
Upgraded from versa 2 to versa 3 two weeks ago. Watched reviews on YouTube on versa 3 prior to purchase. Majority of those reviews in general are useful to understand features available so I recommend people to check them out before purchase. One of concerns brought up by critics was the difficulty in activating the touch sensitive button to the side of the watch. I haven't had this issue, and it may be because my fingers are small and I wear my watch slightly loose. I like the ability to accept calls and talk on my versa instead of reaching ou...t for my phone (like I had to for versa 2). I don't care for uploading music on my Spotify, but if that matters to you, versa 3 doesn't do that. Battery life is great, last for days without charging and I have gps on. Screen is vibrant and watch is super light. Great for small wrists as bands come in smaller sizes and watch size is sleek (not chunky). Annoying thing is the bands aren't easily accessible in stores, you have to buy them online which means you can't see them / test them before purchase. Despite having a high end mobile (Samsung s20 plus) fitbit app sometimes glitches and doesn't sync or gets stuck on start up screen (on phone) especially when changing clock wallpaper/watchface. Restarting app or phone usually fixes any freezes.
