Excellent store! Ordered a pair of cloud tilt sneakers and received a curtesy call to confirm order which I think is excellent as sometimes people order the wrong size ect and when it comes to shoes it’s a pain to have to return! The shoes arrived in perfect condition within 2 days of ordering. Also highly appreciate the $20 gift voucher upon signing up. Thank you!

Order 57762. Staff called to say you can return if not right. Then received goods its displayed item with sticky label mark also a bit faulty scratch not like new. Have to pay full postage to return at your own cost. No paypal payment and its awful not protected. No refund only credit how ridiculous selling strategy. Delivery faulty goods and no refund! the worst experience . Don't buy from footgear to take risk and waste money. Show details

Order #57568 – Women’s Cloudnova 2 (US 6) • Bought the all-white pair online. Day later Footgear emailed to say the shoes they were about to ship were yellow-stained. • I asked for a swap to the White/Orchid colour. Staff offered 30 % off the Orchid pair in writing (see screenshot). as the non white colours were more expensive and not on sale. •… Read more

I accepted immediately. • A few hours later the same rep said management had “made a mistake” – the 30 % only applied to the damaged shoes, not the Orchid pair. No alternative except paying full price or taking a refund. • After this back-and-forth I chose a full refund (confirmed 4 Aug).

Why 1 star? – Misleading written offer, then retracted. – I had to chase them multiple times; whole process burned half a day and I still have no shoes. – Quality-control failure on a brand-new $260 pair.

Footgear: customers expect you to honour written offers or at least propose a fair fix when you ship defective stock. I’ll take my business elsewhere and share this experience so others are aware.

Ordered some sandals on a Sunday. I was contacted by the store Monday morning to confirm delivery details and confirm order. Was sent same day and arrived 2 days later. assessment team deemed the shoes faulty I was sent a new pair free of charge the same day and received next day! I can’t thank them enough for their prompt reply and service and to not muck their customers around when clearly there was a quality issue. Thank you Denise for your excellent service

Couldn’t be bothered, just wanted me off the phone quickly. When I pressed for more answers she became more rude and condescending, giving me the incorrect facts, luckily a colleague prompted her as to the details of my order. Still don’t know when my shoes are coming though, unfortunately I paid upfront in full.

sales person should I have taken them off and walked in bare feet? Her response was Yes. That’s what she does and what I should have done.

They were sent away for repair assessment and if I pay $79 they will fix them. For close to $200 I’ll be taking it to OFT they are clearly not fit for purpose.

Footgear ‘customer service’ no better. According to them the soles are also worn and it’s being classed as ‘fair wear and tear’. 6 months old and I work away so effectively only 3 months wear out of them and not constantly. To have this much wear obviously poor quality and Footgear don’t care.

Not sure what the rest of their store are like but avoid Carindale and the manager [Name Removed]. [Name Removed] from customer support no help either. She is happy for me to proceed to lodge a complaint with OFT QLD. Clearly these shoes are not fit for purpose.

Don’t honour their returns or exchanges policies – Purchased and bought the wrong colour so tried to return for an exchange. Paid full price and returned in same condition as from the store. As they had footprint marks from when tried on in the store (when hot and offered to wear socks but they said not to) they said no new. So be warned they won’t honour exchanges or returns if you have worn/tried on the shoes or sandals. Very dodgy and best to find someone else. Show details

Birkenstocks – Customer service was outstanding. Purchased Birkenstocks for my son for Christmas and they arrived well within a week and with free shipping. Wouldn’t order again – I bought vegan Birkenstocks and when they came the box was ripped and taped together, the shoes were all open and packed terribly and tag ripped off. I would not buy from footgear again. Shoes had clearly been used to try on etc maybe even used and returned Doesn’t feel nice when spending that much on shoes! I did email and notify company so they were aware.

Buyer Beware... I wish I had read the poor reviews... because they are true! – Purchase was okay. Delivery okay. That is where the nicety ends... soon as you try to exchange they are shifty, cold and quote that their fine print evades the right to return. The Returns Policy is misleading by design. Excellent Customer Service – I placed an order on Monday evening and received a message from Joy the following morning confirming the two products I had ordered, and that they would be shipped that afternoon. Upon hearing the message I realised that I had made an error and ordered the men's Ecco Soft 7 by mistake. I contacted Joy who could not have been more helpful in assisting me rectify my order. the wrong sizes. I would have gladly exchanged but couldn’t, as there was no stock. I was informed, as it was a change of mind purchase, that I was not entitled to a refund. The problem was there wasn’t other shoes that I could exchange them for unless I wanted to pay an additional $171 ( $342 on top of the $158 I already paid) per pair for the only other children's Birkenstock’s that would suit school needs. Not wanting to pay $500 dollars for 2 pairs of school shoes for a 9 and a 6 year old that would likely not even last a year, I left the store. I am honestly so appalled at how they responded and handled the situation. It’s disgusting and I will absolutely never buy anything from footgear again. I will also be sure to tell every person I know my experience and what to expect from this company. As an expat living in a foreign country you don’t know what to expect, so I have been working on a welcome to Brisbane guide for expats and will be sure to share this experience in the guide as well as with everyone I can.

credit note. I told them a credit note was useless , 1. Because I could not be reassured the same scenario would be repeated endlessly, and 2. As I live in another state I could not visit the store to purchase any other item. They insisted it was a credit note or nothing, my choice. Never buy from this company, their customer service is abominable.

Went to Brissie store and had the manager being really nasty and loud - customer service really questionable. She insisted shoe was worn and scuffed whereas we couldnt see any scuff marking. Anyways she offered some Ecco insoles for free and we walked away disappointed. Next day tried our luck at a different store and was told the case had been emailed around the chain and as the Manager of a store had decreed unfit for return couldnt accept change , Getting very personal here and subjective ref terms of condition of shoes. Love the shoe design but totally disappointing shopping experience, Will never shop at Footgear again. Shoe design Customer should be advised of return policy before paying. put a big sign up.
