DO NOT BUY FROM FOOTMASTER. I purchased Arches in Feb this year and 2 months later they have failed. I initially went instore at Westfield Mt Gravatt as the store I purchased from had closed. The staff member advised me that FOOTMASTER head office refuse to rectify stating it was due to fair wear and tear. I was also told that as they were on… Read more

sale I had no comeback which is incorrect as that is irrelevant under law. This company clearly refuses to abide by the Consumer Guarantees Act whereby a product must be fit for purpose. I have now emailed twice but have not received any acknowledgment. Next step is Office of Fair Trading. This company should not be in business when they sell sub standard products which they do not stand by.

My husband purchased a pair of thongs as a birthday gift to me. The thongs have sharp bits of rubber protruding from the thong which makes them unwearable. I have tried 5 times to contact the company, via email, facebook and even rang the Centre Management office in Harbour Town (they kindly took my details and walked down to the shop and asked… Read more

them to call me) - none of their phone numbers are working. Can anyone tell me if they are still in operation? My next step is Fair Trading. Many thanks Anne

On the positive side the day I purchased my sandals the store assistant at Robina was very helpful and attentive. I haven't seen her in the shop since my purchase on the 18 September 2025. The shoes were very comfortable and so they should be for $180. Because I was happy after a few months I discarded my receipt. On the negative side, the… Read more

shoes are still in very good condition but in December 2025 they started to feel loose so I tightened the buckle. By January 2026 they were falling off my feet because the elastic attached to the buckle had completely disintegrated. I took them back and had a piece of paper placed in front of me stating they had a 14 day return policy. I said the shoes were faulty and I was not returning them for a change of mind. I was then informed that a photo could be taken and sent to head office but it could take about 5 days. I had a copy of my bank statement clearly showing the purchase, in fact I had been previously told this would be accepted as proof of purchase. I do this where I work and then look in our records to find the receipt. The assistant showed no sympathy at all for the inconvenience of wasting so much money on a pair of shoes that last 4 months. They are the most expensive shoes I have ever purchased and I will never set foot in a footmaster store ever again. I even emailed head office over a week ago and have heard nothing from them

Purchased pair of shoes that were on sale. Gave it two weeks never heard from them via text or email so tried contacting head office but no contact number so rang a store. They were very friendly and said will chase up for me. This took another couple of weeks going back and forth with no outcome. Then one day noticed my money been refunded. I… Read more

rang the store that had been assisting and said why have I not heard from anyone and why the refund I just want the shoes. She said they must not have had them in stock. I said no incorrect I can see they are in stock online right now. I asked her to have head office contact me as was not her fault this is happening. She also suggested to simply place order again. I said they are no longer on sale I want the sale price I originally purchased them at. I emailed the customer service email many times with no response. I still have no contact from head office explaining why. Worst customer service from a company I have experienced. Do better and don’t leave it to your shop attendant that have no control over online orders and don’t seem to get any answers from you either.

I purchased a pair of shoes from the Runaway Bay store last summer and have been really happy with them. Decided to purchase two more pairs this summer as they were on sale. Could not get my size in store, so chose to purchase on line. Thinking they are a reputable Australian owned company, I did not deep dive prior to purchasing. I ordered two… Read more

pairs of shoes 10 days ago and I have not heard anything since my order confirmation. I have sent several emails - crickets. I have tried to find a phone number for their head office - there isn't one. I am a loud advocate of purchasing Australian made an owned whenever I can. This leaves a very bad taste in my mouth. Richard Grainger, you need to have your finger on the pulse of what is happening with your business. Having a successful Australian company is not something that should be taken for granted - STEP UP!

Having a similar problem where I've placed an online order then heard nothing. No shipping, no response to emails, just crickets. Two weeks so far. Really want the shoes but guess I'll dispute with my bank. Contacted a store to be told emails aren't really responded to. Terrible!

I purchased a pair of Remonte sandals ($249) and the experience has been extremely disappointing. The sandals were returned for repair three times, yet the issue has never been properly fixed. Despite repeated attempts to resolve the matter, the company has refused to provide a refund or carry out a satisfactory repair. Show details

Purchased women’s Arches Thongs, 22/01/25 for $80.95, as need arch supports but 8 months later have practically fallen apart due to faulty gluing. Footmasters said as purchased more than 6 months ago unable to replace , but will fix & I will need… Read more

to pay for repair. Due to cost of Arches thongs, the fact that they do not guarantee their product is appalling. Also fact that Arches is an Australian design makes it even more disappointing .

Follow-up  · Repair was $20 but had to pay for myself, at local shoe repair booth. Footmasters did not stand by their product at all or even refer to manufacturer. Suffice to say will not buy this brand again.

Online ordering is terrible. No service. No replies to enquiries. Go in store, if you can. Shopping in store is not an option for me at the moment so I placed an order online. tracking number/delivery date. No reply. Thinking I've ordered from a scam site. Phoned a store to see if they could help. Lovely person at Coomera trying to chase it up for me but given she's emailed the regional manager for information which she hasn't received a response to yet, she can only do so much as she is not responsible for online orders. Not sure what more I can do to chase up my order. I actually really need the shoes as soon as possible due to physical impairment. Hoping this review will prompt some service and answers about my order. Avoid online orders people.

I met Karen at the Runaway Bay store browsing and we immediately connected. Within minutes the right shoes at the right price were on my feet and walking out the door. I'm so happy with the shoes I'll make this my first choice for quality walking shoes in future. My podiatrist gives her vote of confidence too. Thank you. Show details

Follow-up  · I chose Arches shoes for walking, with my own orthotics fitted. My podiatrist agreed they are a good choice, particularly with good heel support. Karen recommended them from personal experience.

So uncomfortable! – I love the look of these slides so when i bought a pair of IvyZ Dune Slides i am sadly disappointed. I paid $223. and I have to say, they are the most unconfirtable shoes/sandals/slides I have ever bought. They look like they should be comfortable but they have created callouses on the big toe, turned my toe inward and my toe is numb!!

Absolutely terrible products and terrible customer service – If i could give a 0, i would. I bought two pairs of very expensive sandals from this store - i really wish i had checked the reviews before buying. One pair didn't even last two months, and upon returning (which was delayed due to major surgery), i was told initially they don't do refunds. Then after the store going to head office, i was told… Read more

that they don't do refunds after 90 days - both things that are illegal to say under consumer law.

The North Lakes store were terrible, my first experience, the girl had no idea what to do - advised they would call head office on Monday and get back to me - it took almost two weeks to get back to me, and only because she felt bad because i had been waiting so long. Again advised no refund, but she would order another pair in - I advised that I didn't want another pair, because if the first pair didn't last that long, then the 2nd pair definitely weren't going to either. I went in again to push for the refund, but now told it was over 90 days, no can do. So now, I have reached out to head office again (they ignored me the first time), and provided medical certificates and reminders to them of consumer law. Not sure i'll hear back, but fingers crossed.

Unprofessional – Purchased a pair of shoes from footmaster Robina They started to fall apart within 6 months. Few emails later I was asked to bring them into the store to have them assessed. the shoes. To my disbelief! I had already purchased another pair mean while as I didn’t have another pair of work shoes. I’m so p*ssed off with the out come as the shoes are expensive and to be told I wore them in water by one staff member and machine washed by another. After reading the reviews of all the bad experiences other people have had with footmaster I won’t shop there again. Very un-professional service.

Expensive, faulty after 3 wears & no warranty given! – DO NOT BUY EXPENSIVE SHOES HERE… there is no warranty on $219 faulty shoes that didn’t last 2 weeks and 3 wears (beautiful feature weave on front strap coming apart). I was told nothing could be done when I returned them- which I didn’t agree with. Given 3 different reasons the shop would not rectify the faulty product, clearly not fit for… Read more

purchase. They even told me I didn’t know my consumer rights and I was wrong!

When I emailed head office, with pictures of the faulty shoes, there was no response after 3 weeks! Thus I write this review, to warn others and proceed to lodge a complaint with ACCC.

Simply not good enough SHOEMASTER, not by any measure!

Incredible lack of professionalism – I bought a pair of boots on line. The order was paid No emails re confirmation So over the course of the ensuing weeks I tried 4 times to contact online support via email to no avail. Costly shoes zero customer service – I have (had) been a long-term customer of this store due to having difficult to fit feet. However, based on the response, or more accurately, the total lack of response to questions I have raised about the deterioration of the inner linings of two pairs of expensive shoes bought from Footmaster, I will no longer buy my shoes from there. I first… Read more

approached the manager of the Indooroopilly store about the problems with two pairs of little-worn shoes. The manager told me she had forwarded my concerns to the head office and that she received no response. She let me know of her high level of frustration with the store owners, who she indicated who are unresponsive to all her communications. I then attempted to communicate directly with head office, and two weeks later have received zero response to my concerns, not even an acknowledgment of my email communication. If I had bought my shoes from Kmart, I would have taken no action when the shoes started to deteriorate. However, having bought from what is probably the most expensive shoe store in Indooroopilly — due to their supposed superior quality — to receive no response from the owners of this store demonstrates their view of customers. Zero customer care = zero customer satisfaction.

Customer service isnt good – My frustration has hit "karen" mode as my kids would say with lack of ability to provide a product or why its gone awol. In this day and age with costs climbing people cant afford $200 plus shoes so opt for inners instead. At least 7months if not mpre and counting I havent been able to get what I need. Not what I want. What I NEED to operate. I… Read more

have mortens neuroma and plantar fascia. Without the inners I get from footmaster I cant do running or walking. I have reiterated this so many times to cs. I have also clicked notify me emails multiple times for when they come into stock. So far I have chewed through hundreds of dollars trying other inners and aquiring exacerbated injury in the process. None have worked for me. All returned. I work hard to keep fit with mulitple ailments which isnt easy. If the product isnt going to be supplied anymore remove it from your website. For people like me its downright annoying and frustrating continually contacting you to find out when I can resume being half normal again. I am so cranky about the lack of info refarding something I rely on. Surely I am not the only one that keeps annoying you on when they will be stocked. Get it together footmaster.

DISAPPOINTING SERVICE – I purchased two pairs of Ivy Z shoes late last year. The shoes are extremely comfortable but one of them squeaks when walking. Very Bad Experience – After 3 visits with this store, I am left feeling upset, baffled and beyond disappointed. I was told if the shoes didn't work out, they would sort it out with no problems. The shoes I tried, and took home, aggravated my feet, and had to be returned. My visit to return the shoes was awful. They now advised me, they have a "no refund" policy, yet… Read more

failed to disclose this at the time of, or prior to purchase. This policy is only noted on the receipt. Ummmmm, what is the point of that? The damage is already done! Instead of refunds, they offer a store credit, allowing you to exchange at the time of return, or use the credit in the future. This policy holds the buyer to ransom, if no suitable alternative is found, and shoes are needed NOW. In fact, I'm not even sure such a "policy" would be legal or valid in the eyes of the ACCC? I could have tried other shoes, for an exchange, however they didn't have my size in any other alternative shoes, that met my requirements. Should I, the customer, bear the burden of their lack of stock? I think not!

My refund request was refused. I was forced to insist on a refund. I had to argue my point, as it was the ONLY fair outcome. How unfortunate the retail assistant failed to see this, and proceeded to treat me in a dismissive, belittling and condescending manner. She called the manager, and kept me waiting. Eventually, the refund was begrudgingly processed, in a very uncomfortable transaction. I don't quite know what the story is with this place, but I do know I will never be back, and will also let my Podiatrist know, of my poor experience. Let the buyer beware!

delivery truck went the other way and missed Carindale. Pretty Poor excuse considering I have clients on the East Coast of Australia that receive their product within 24hrs and Perth 3-4 days, and my Wife who Manages a high end fashion store can deliver to her clients all areas in Queensland within 48 hours. Sorry we will definitely will not be back and the $20 deposit is not the issue it is the poor excuse that annoys us and we were informed that we could not receive a refund even though the shoes did not arrive.
