you are selling your house you don't need any more stress so don't skimp too much. And have courage the place will sell eventually (my mums house took 5 months).

This works – The people were extremely helpful in getting the information onto the site. Once up and running the responses came in 'thick n fast'. I am extremely happy with both the process and results.

No phone connection – $199 wasted, phone number on my realestate.com ad won't connect, and after multiple phone calls and emails, I'm now informed by fsorbo it never will, customer can only email. Not what I payed for.

Producing my own add was easy enough with my own text and photos but the FSORBO site didn't allow for an availability date to be entered that would appear on multiple sites.

Big promises - NO results - better to use Gumtree – This business provides a cheap entry to property owners having their advertisements on Realestate.com and Domain.com. You supply the text and they advertise on the websites as the principal and supposedly re-direct any enquiries to you. websites which would be a turn off for anyone for someone wanting to rent a property interstate. Your draft advertisement with your phone number shown prominently has had the number removed (which they didn't tell you in advance)

I had a month on Domain.com and Realestate.Com without one enquiry (actually me using a different email address) whereas the same text - including telephone number on (free) Gumtree yielded dozens of enquiries and ultimately the client.

Getting corrections made sometimes took too long especially when it was correcting a mistake from FSORBO in passing on my text to the real estate networks.

I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE RESULTS AND BELIEVE THAT THE WAY THAT FSORBO PRESENTED THE PROPERTY, BOTH THE SMALL SIZE OF THE PICTURES AND USING THEIR CONTACT POINT IN SURFERS PARADISE RESULTED IN MY GETTING NIL RESPONSES.

That's right - my unit was advertised thru FSORBO for 4 weeks on three websites and generated no phone or email responses (because they didn't show MY phone number - but theirs)

However an identical advertisement on a competitive FREE website (Gumtree) generated heaps of interest with the potential customers contacting me directly and eventually making the deal !!!

Save your money and use Gumtree.

Brilliant immediate service whenever i had any changes to make to the listing – Very easy to list a property and extremely flexible in making any changes to the listing. I Highly recommend this to anyone property managing their own rental.

Excellent value for money for a private landlord – I have used this service over and over and have had good results every time.
