arrived and someone will come to replace, a guy came knowing nothing about issue, didn’t bring parts to replace and abused us telling we would have done scratches ourselves.

through warranty WOOOOOOWWW they are refusing to refund me!!! i offered to purchase the next level down bed and still not interested. even if the warranty states it is the same what next?????????? i hate this mattress and they dont care. tens of thousands of dollars i have spent at forty winks over the years. what a way to look after your customer

Terrible Product and Customer Service – I purchased an ARMIDALE queen bed with a gas lift base as we live in a small space and we could really use the storage under the bed. I tried to contact them on multiple occasions to raise the issue but I didn't get any response. I don't recommend them and I won't purchase anything from Forty Winks again.

Don't fall for the false delivery promises – Purchased a bed over 4 weeks ago. Ian the pushy sales guy said it would be a 3 week delivery...alarm bells rang hen I saw a female sales assistant look at him in a strange way. Got told last week it should be around a week. sale. I mentioned that I had just bought a bed frame from Ikea and wanted to make sure that the mattress fit the frame well. She told me that the double mattress was a standard size and would fit any double bed frame. No mention was made of the fact that this mattress is incompatible with certain types of wooden slats nor that this can potentially void the warranty.

Yesterday I had a manufacturer rep out to look at the mattress to determine why it feels so much softer than the floor model and is starting to sag. It was only then that I found out that I had the "wrong slats" and I needed to replace them. I called the store to say that I wanted a refund because I had purchased this mattress on the basis of a dishonest sales pitch.

I was told that as there is nothing wrong with the mattress they can't issue a refund and it is not their responsibility to advise on the thousands of bed frames that they don't sell! It is also not possible to return a mattress that has been slept on over change of mind due to hygiene issues, something which was not disclosed at time of sale. They even claimed that no one has ever made a complaint of this nature before, which I don't believe at all because the moment I told her the result of the inspection she said "Oh, you have posture slats?". Way too aware of the problem for me to have been the first customer affected.

No warranty info was given to me at the time of purchase save that the warranty period is 10 years. 10 years does me no good if their nondisclosure voids the warranty. Despite repeated requests I have received NO warranty information. Who knows what other fine print exists that will void my warranty?

In the three weeks I have owned this mattress I have suffered back pain severe enough to require physiotherapy. It was ONLY because I complained that I was told about the incompatible slats. If I had waited the recommended amount of time for breaking in a new mattress before making a complaint, the health problems caused by this store's negligence would only have increased in severity.

Should have walked out as soon as the saleswoman started to get pushy. Learn from my mistake and Do not shop here.

I would give negative stars if I could!

Waiting and waiting – I haven't even received my bed yet but am already very upset with the service. We have been waiting for over one month for a bed frame that was paid for in January and have had to call the store on a regular basis to find out where it is and to get get an estimate of when it will arrive. every time it didn't arrive as promised, rather than me always having to chase it down and find out what's going on. I have been given so many promises of delivery dates but the goal post keeps getting moved. It was not communicated to me when I purchased it that it would take a very long time, they said two weeks max. My son has had to sleep on the floor and I've been giving him weekly promises that it will be here soon, but have had to break that promise too many times. Hopefully all will be well with the bed when we eventually get it. Next time I will read the reviews before I shop somewhere for a big ticket item like that.

find out about your order and call you back tomorrow", two weeks later I still have not received that phone call. The store manager took no responsibility or showed no empathy after one of his staff members, promised to call me back as the order was apparently in transit?. I just called the store today and yet another empty promise, all it seemed like is "yes I will" just to get me off the phone. Not once did anybody apologies or take responsibility for the lies that were told to me. I can't believe that in todays day and age that one would get such poor service yet you as the customer is spending thousands of dollars with the store????? Unbelievable

Horrible Service – Bought a bed 6 months back the ply is coming out from everywhere and they said it is not covered under warranty and the guy came to inspect said we r ripping Ply (what a joke) yes we do rip ply of our bed for fun , not. they will lie to u for everything, quality, delivery and even service. Arrogant staff do not know how to deal with customers. Their policy customer is always wrong and they r always busy.
