Do Not Buy From Here - Go To Harvey Norman Next Door In Same Center Or Snooze In Ballina
I walked in and was 'sold' to very well to buy a premium bed just like the one the assistant owned. I pulled out the new bed base and bed head measurements to get her to help me ensure this would fit. Unfortunately she didn't mention this mattress is a VERY high mattress 15 cms higher than a standard mattress. I paid $5,000 for this mattress. When it was delivered and set upon the new bed base and mattress while the width and length did fit the height does not. I immediately contacted them asking to exchange ONLY and I would pay return fees and...
Read more they are refusing. The bed still has the plastic and I have time stamped photos showing its not slept in. They know and believe this but say they cannot be responsible for this. How can a bedding expert company not support this obvious oversight from me as the customer and them as the 'experts' to advise 'oh please note this mattress is 15 cms higher and won't fit in this base and bed head. I would eb fine for that oversight but why not let me EXCHANGE ONLY at my cost? I have offered for any further funds to be left in a store credit. Why would they be doing this and treating a $6k customer like this? I also bought pillows including a temper pillow for $600 + latex pillows + mattress protector. When you have a high paying customer I dont understand this at all. I strongly suggest buying form Harvey Norman in they bedding section in the same centre or Snooze down the road. Whoeever these owners are - who by the way wont talk to me about this only their their store manager - they are greedy and unkind and I will be making sure I continue advising anyone int he local area not to buy from them.- Customer Service

Read more forty winks Ballina! Honestly the most greedy appalling retail experienced I’ve ever had. A plastic wrapped mattress purchase under your store workers consent it would fit. When she didn’t advise me the mattress is 15 cms higher than a standard. I offered to pay for return, exchange only AND explained I needed to buy two more beds next year so you’d have my business. I bought the bed head from forty winks last week.(Whitehorse road), the staff told me it takes about 3-4 week for delivery. Yesterday the staff told me the bed head already in warehouse . So they delivery today. After unpack the box, I found the edge of the bed head is very dirty. I think they sold me the display one.

I bought a bed from Forty Winks. I've set up 2 delivery dates. No delivery. No show. No bed. Just empty promises.
It's the equivalent of " the cheque is in the mail."
I'm surprised that Forty Winks is either a scam artist, a fraudulent company or just really unreliable, unprofessional or just plain dishonest.
I don't know what their problem is but a failure to deliver a bed twice is fraudulent. Don't touch them. Shop somewhere else.

I went to Craigieburn store with an idea of what I wanted. Lidia was there and she helped me alot. I didn't feel pressured and the lidia was very easy to talk to. At the end she really looked after me and I booked my king bed with Fortywink.
Hopefully will receive my bed on time.

Went to pick up a bed we ordered. Sales lady said to come between business hours. Turn up after organising help and a trailer 15 minutes before closing time and they already had the doors shut. Sales person Wouldn’t come to the door! Was YELLING from behind the counter and said you need to come 1 hour before closing time! Refused to even acknowledge us. Closed before actual time!!! Nice that they let you know before you organised everything for pick up and then because you’ve already paid, they are rude about it to boot!! Won’t be going there ...

Just wanted to thank Tim at this store, there are a lot of mattress stores in that shopping complex and we visited 5 of them.
The Forty Winks not only had the best products at the best price, but the staff genuinely understood and listened to our requirements. It was the last store we had visited and Tim was the first to actually get what I wanted in a mattress, going so far as to describe what I wanted in a way even better than I could.
We've been sleeping on the product for a week now and the wife is ecstatic, I'm very pleased myself.

Made an order, paid for the delivery $80.
Got a text saying mattress due next day, please be home. I said yes.
Next day at 2pm i get an emergency call from school and miss delivery.
Now they want another $80! Or happy to refund me less the delivery fee.
Complete rip off.
NO WHERE does it state these conditions when placing an order. NO WHERE does it state you ONLY get a 30min window.

I worked in Retail management for over 22 years and have employed many young people in my career and I was astounded by Zacs professional manner yet friendly service. He used our names constantly, made the shopping experience fun and answered all of our questions easily. It's not often you come across sales people like Zac. To be honest we were so impressed with him we would have easily spent more! 4th purchase from this store. Love the service and staff and their knowledge. Ask for James if he’s in as he really knows his products. Highly recommend them!!

Can someone please give me a review on 40winks pocket system spine smart king XL?
I purchased a King size bed with two bedsides and a dressing table about 12 years ago. They were built by Nova Hollandia in Dandenong. I am downsizing to a retirement village where everything is smaller and was wondering if I can get a Queen in the same design? I can send a photo if needed?

i rang the store over a week ago now , as my bed which is under warrant broke , they told me the guys you pay to fix your stuff would get back to me within 48 hours , they never did so i went into the shop and and they told me that the guys would be sending me a email or coming around to check out the problem within another 48 hours and still have not heard back from them , i have an electric bed and the motor that lifts the head went bang in the night and dropped down , when i looked the cheap plastic cover had broken and that the plastic motor was only going in and out not doing anything , i would like to know when these people are coming around or when my bed base will be replaced,
