I felt I'd been conned.
On Saturday morning I saw a bed I'd like and was quoted $540 with free delivery.
A little later in the day I received an SMS to say the exact product wasn't in stock but they had a similar one, in a different brand, for only $60 more.
I went in on Monday morning to learn the true price is almost $800, which is a long way from the original promise of $540.
No prizes for guessing why I rate them with only the one star
I brought a memory pillow from this store and am really happy with the quality and the customer service. My children had a great nights sleep using the pillow. I loved how it was the perfect size and height for their head. cannot wait to purchase more amazing products from your store

Don't fall for the false delivery promises
Purchased a bed over 4 weeks ago. Ian the pushy sales guy said it would be a 3 week delivery...alarm bells rang hen I saw a female sales assistant look at him in a strange way. Got told last week it should be around a week. Phoned again and have now been told the shipping container should arrive in Sydney in 3 weeks then delivery a week after that making it now 8 weeks....Ridiculous!!! I have no faith we will be seeing the bed anytime soon and without much pain!

Jamie was well equipped with knowledge of the different products and swiftly navigated us through the store in order to make the best purchase. Experience was fine
I'm seeing many people complain about delays, well that is to be expected when ordering furniture. I called around until I found a store with the product I wanted in stock and was very happy. It was delivered exactly when promised because I ordered stuff they had in the warehouse.

Keesh - manager had no sympathy or genuine care, didn't even greet us with a hello just said have two options,$200 off the damaged stock or wait for new frame.
Had to get quite upset to get a refund.
Will never shop here ever again as they don't care for their customers at all.

Really good customer service, honest advice on choosing product. I forget his name, but he was very knowledgable and we never felt pressured. Quite the opposite. They also threw in some freebies. Highly recommend this store.

Dani is just a pure goddess!!! Honestly owe her a bottle of wine! Just an extremely helpful and kind lady, happy to bend over backwards to help out. She helped me pull off the impossible, I was in Adelaide trying to organise a mattress on a Friday to be delivered in Perth the Saturday, as when I arrive back I have to isolate for 14days and had no bed! The Adelaide Storeman called every store in Perth checking for stock, not only did Dani manage to find me the mattress I wanted but she also organised a special delivery so it would arrive on time. By far one of the best sales representatives I have ever come across! Very happy to have dealt with her. In. time I was feeling overwhelmed and defeated she honestly made my week.
Great customer service
We received fantastic customer service instore by Derik. He was a welcome change to the pushy sales assistants in other stores. We found him both knowledgeable and helpful in finding exactly what our needs were in a mattress. We came in several times to make sure to make the right purchase and this wasn't an issue at all. Great after sales service, above and beyond
We had some trouble assembling a bedhead we had delivered in flatpack form from Forty Winks. (We assembled the bed base and one side of the bedhead with no issues but we just could not get the second side of the bedhead to slot together properly). One phone call to the store and they were helpful in the extreme. In the end two of the staff from the warehouse came to our place, sorted out the one side that we couldn't get to fit together, and we now have an assembled bedhead. Thanks to the team. They even went above and beyond and attached the bedhead to the base for us. Would highly recommend.
Avoid this franchise, they have no after-care to support customers
I purchased a King Koil set in February 2020 totalling $4,600, one of their sets in their top range. Not a cheap expense. Within 4 weeks, the mattress has sunk on both sides of the bed and I have had my neck seize and had to have repeated remedial massage. My husband who has arthritis in his spine has had chronic muscle pain from the first week he slept in the bed. I am so disappointed with this bed and the customer service I've received from both Forty Winks ([name removed]) and AHBeard. It is unacceptable to be sold a product that was re...commended by the store yet not fit for purpose. We followed due process and had a consultant from AHBeard come to validate if the bed was faulty. We were not even asked to lie on the bed so that the observation could be made at the lack of support the mattress offers. The offer of help from AHBeard was they could remove and replace the mattress topper, not the mattress at my expense and I'd also pay for the transport costs. This resolution is unsatisfactory. I am left with a mattress I cannot sleep in, cannot get assistance with from the seller or manufacturer, and not only have I lost $4000, but I will have to purchase a new mattress to resolve the issue. What an unacceptable resolution and terrible customer experience. Forty Winks @ Alexandria, your support to help me resolve my issue is the worst customer experience I've had and AHBeard, you have demonstrated your lack of interest in the product you have manufactured and you don't care about your customers. Why should you be selling products you do not provide the customer care for? I will never purchase from Forty Winks again in my life, nor AHBeard, nor buy a King Koil and I will make sure that anyone in the market hears about my poor experience and avoids spending their hard earned cash with you. Complete disappointment.

Good sales assistance until after purchase. We purchased a Sealy Edinburgh Mattress and it is nothing like the one we tried in store - even after weeks rotating and of trying to break it in. It is hard as a rock. We both have bad necks and backs to the point we can barely walk. The only thing the store offered was a mattress topper for a discount price. We should have the opportunity to swap it within a period. VERY disappointed as we spent way over our budget to get a quality mattress and we can't sleep in it.

Forty Winks O'Connor - Be Careful
From an initial perspective the store is well presented, sales people are friendly and try to wow you with their years of dedicated service. They also promise to be with you every step of the way when finding a bed and any after sales service if required. However the truth is far from this, their opinion is every bed in the store is great just lie down and see. They will tell you this bed aligns your spine perfectly, and don't worry if the bed feels warm, you just need breathable sheets. I know I should have been more skeptical but sometimes y...ou would like to think there are just some honest people in this world. What a mistake that was, as soon as you pay for the mattress, game over, god help you if you have any trouble. Once I had the mattress delivered, I called a friend to assist in moving it to my bedroom (King Size) he subsequently told me he had very bad experience with a similar mattress which prompted me to look at the reviews, which were terrible. With this new information I proceeded to call the sales Rep to express my concerns and that I would like to return the mattress and exchange for another. The mattress is unopened and hasn't moved from where it was delivered at this stage. The sales Rep proceeded to blast me and said I hadn't even slept on it and I should sleep on it and if I have any problems we'll go from there. So I opened the mattress and slept on it for the next couple of nights, unfortunately the reviews were accurate and I had a terrible sleep (even got the sleep tracker to prove it) So I went in to the Forty Winks store to have a discussion, they sent me home and said they'd be in contact. The next morning a Rep from the mattress company called and basically said you've opened the mattress and slept on it nothing we can do... Are you serious...What a setup!!!! I only opened the mattress because you advised me to :( The rep proceeded to say they can potentially retop it costing approx.$550 but I'm not interested in throwing more money away.

Warning !!!!!!!do Not Shop At Forty Winks Nunawading.
They have the worst customer service, they lie constantly, and deliver inferior furniture.
I purchased a full bedroom suite ordering the brand Flamingo Furniture Monet for two rooms.
1. The items were scratched, in particular all over the dressing table.
2. The Bedhead was made on an angle.
3. The side rails had been put together with off cuts of pine timber and then stained to make it look new.

Purchased a mattress from forty winks Knox Ferntree Gully my sales assistant was Dara she was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about all the different brands of mattresses . She made it very easy for me to select the perfect mattress for me.I found it to be a very friendly atmosphere and never felt pressured to purchase . Would recommend this store definitely
My partner and I recently purchased a bed from the Mackay store after much effort trying different beds from different stores we found forty winks to have great customer service and we had an awesome shopping experience . Also we believe we got a great deal definitely worth a look

what would the delivery fee be for 2 single mattresses and 2 bases to Ringwood?
Purchased a mattress that I tried down in Adelaide to be sent to my holiday apartment in Queensland. Have just been down to the apartment for the first time since having the mattress delivered. It is extremely firm, a lot firmer then the one I chose. It even says medium on my invoice when I chose a soft feel. It’s been 3 months. I don’t feel as if the mattress is correct, can I exchange it or get a refund?
I have been trying to contact. I bought a mattress with 15 years warranty but it is dipping & sagging.
