helpful on both occasions offering good suggestions and knowledgeable advice without me feeling pressured to buy. I have been sleeping on my new mattress for 3 weeks now and am very relieved to say I am happy!

does not accept returns if you're not happy with product – In store purchase. If you aren't happy with your bed, don't expect to be able to return or exchange it because forty winks does not accept that - even you contact them the day after you first slept on it. decision and being happy with the bed is important. Unfortunately this store doesn't care about that, they only want the money and then it's goodbye, deal with it. Definitely won't buy anything from them again. I'm thankful though for learning a valuable lesson from purchasing at this store: I will only ever buy from stores which do take returns and exchanges for change of mind from now on, or second hand. So thanks for helping me become a better consumer!

if you have a bad back or are so so at assembly Malmö is not the suite for you – Really poor instructions substandard tools and heavy parts makes this bed not only difficult to assemble but hazardous and could lead to injury. There is no way one person could do the assembly. At no stage did the staff indicate that two strong people would be required. Definitely an OH&S issue here. Worst experience ever!!!!!! – Braught a mattress and it is absolute crap, my partner and I sink in to each other, and we have had nothing but sleepless and constant back pain. to get nothing fixed!!! And all they can say is, get it "firmed". Which we agreed to, being told we will only have to pay $50. Then getting told a week later than we miss understood and it's half of $120... Then reviewing a call from sleep easy saying we have to pay half of $275 for firming!!! It's not fair to pay for such non sense after spending so much already!!!

40 winks had given us nothing but hell, I don't know how a company could of such bad customer service!!! Rude and in capable of communication! (Returning phone calls)

Terrible – We bought high quality hardwood bedroom tallboy from Forty Winks (Joondalup WA) for over a thousand bucks. After telling us it would take 6 weeks, it finally arrived after 10 weeks with a dent on the solid ash top. We had to argue tooth and nail to get a replacement, which we were told would take 3 weeks. ! All of the drawers had split wood on the inner corner joints with fingertip sized pieces missing in some. We were told we could only have them filled and couldn't have another replacement even though it was clearly a manufacturer's fault (Blue Diamond Furniture in Melbourne). We tried all avenues to get a replacement but the owner (who owns 2 stores in WA - Joondalup & Wangara) was so arrogant and stubborn, even saying there was nothing wrong with them. We did our homework on consumer law. Wrote him a letter asking for a refund, giving him 2 weeks to respond. Still no offer of replacement or refund. Got the Consumer Conciliation Dept involved, who worsened the matter as they tended to side with the retailer, giving their opinion (which isn't their job). Finally had to take him to court 8 months after buying the drawers. The court ordered him to give us a refund. The time, money and stress wasted on this imbecial and Forty Winks should never have happened. This kind of service and lack of care is damaging the Australian retail industry and Australian companies. Wish we had read the reviews on here ! NEVER EVER buy from Forty Winks, it's just not worth the stress when something goes wrong. None at all ! Appalling customer service, Waiting forever on delivery dates, Take your money and don't help when something goes wrong, Manager who seems to think he can do and say what he wants when it comes to consumer law, they lie big time !
