The team went beyond the scope of the contract by installing a power point in the room next to the bathroom when they noticed I needed one, and by replacing a light switch plate that was due for an update. These small but meaningful gestures made a real difference.

They arrived on time, completed the work on schedule, and were considerate of my home throughout the process — even taking care to accommodate my cat, who needed to be secured in a separate room.

I am genuinely grateful for their work and would highly recommend Fred Rose Bathrooms to anyone looking for quality craftsmanship delivered with integrity and heart.

Couldn't be happier with the result! – Rate every element highly - provided an extremely detailed quote, were very helpful in choosing tiles and fittings etc from their excellent showroom, arrived on time and didn't waste time during the job, all the tradies were lovely, communication was great and the finished bathroom, toilet and laundry were just beautiful.

Quality and service – The rebuilt our bathroom and laundry in Coogee. Started on time, worked every day until completion. Gave great up front advice and then delivered a very high quality product. Addressed any issues along the way without complaint and kept us updated.

Terrible service & terrible work – Such terrible work especially for the price. The workmen are rude, lazy and sloppy. Very sloppy work – Terrible workmanship and horrible service. It’s all about getting the job done quick rather than done right. The should use the same people rather than 5 people doing bits and pieces. Unfortunately the quality of their work is not a good as it was when Fred was monitoring the work. Very disappointed especially in their care for the customers who believe they will do the right thing.

his team of amazing tradies. Everyone was so professional and treated our home with the utmost respect. Tradesmen were happy, polite and amazing workers. All of them arriving on time and working long hours. All deliveries arrived on time and the whole process worked like a well oiled machine. Matt was on site every day and sometimes more than once. I felt completely comfortable leaving them in the house if we needed to go out. All rubbish was removed every day and there was never a thing left behind. We are so incredibly impressed (ONCE AGAIN) with the firms professionalism and how helpful Matt was in endeavouring to make things as easy as possible for my disability. Renovation was completed this July and within the specified timeframe and budget. The tradesmen were just terrific and very professional. They were always willing to answer our questions and always arrived at our place at the pre-arranged time.

purchased needed some work and Matt came out. I couldn't speak more highly of the way the whole process was handled. I have dealt with many tradesmen over the years and because of so many bad experiences always dread getting any work done. It is extremely uplifting to deal with a company which is both ethical and proud of their workmanship. A rare thing indeed.

Costly – We had 2 bathrooms and a laundry done by Fred Rose. When jobs were finished we had issues that needed to be fixed. It took a long time for them to come back. I would look into other options before committing to them.

12 years ago and the experience still haunts me – We used these people and I have long lived to regret it - they were more expensive than anyone else at the time. I expressed some dissatisfaction regarding one such mistake, and asked that the supervisor review it before another installment was made. The tradesman concerned went out into the street and screamed into a mobile that I had refused to pay the due installment. I have always felt that this was just one of their tactics.

I just happened to stumble upon this site when looking for someone to renovate a bathroom. The other reviews are interesting and I will continue my search.

Not satisfied at all! Totally regret choosing Fred Rose Bathrooms! – Problems from start to finish. Supposed to take 3 weeks but took nearly 6 weeks due to incompetency and stuff ups by some of the tradesmen. Some very poor quality of work and no duty of care! Totally regret choosing Fred Rose and would never recommend them to anyone! You're better off choosing a smaller renovation team and get more one-on-one service and more duty of care!

Not Happy!! – We had a quote approx. 5 weeks ago - have 3 bathrooms that need renovating, have phoned twice and they don't even bother calling back so obviously not in need of new work!! Very disappointing as appeared really professional when one of them came to our house. Would not even bother calling them as you will be wasting your time!! showrooms we were impressed with the displays and the knowledge and assistance of the staff. As soon as I described what I wanted in order to match a federation style border tile we had selected, they soon brought out the cream wall tiles, and terra cotta colour floor tiles I had in mind, and matched them to the timber cabinet I wanted. The selections were all set up together so we could see how well they all matched our choice of border tile. They had obviously done this many times and were well versed in the procedure. The selections were exactly what we wanted. We matched them with a cream hand basin and toilet suite & cabinet top. As I have weak wrists we were able to select lever style taps for hand basin and shower along with a grip rail in the shower.

The work was soon scheduled. They set up a programme of all the work, along with the times they would arrive every day. Our old bathroom had to be completely removed. Before the men started work they laid plastic over our hall carpet to protect it for the duration of work. Each day the scheduled workmen arrived exactly on time. Every day they cleaned up after themselves and removed all debris and rubbish. I had nothing to clean up myself. On 2 days in particular it was to be extremely hot and they arranged to come earlier in the morning to get the jobs for that day done before it got too hot. During the work a partner in the firm arrived regularly to make sure everything was done to his and our satisfaction. We are thrilled with the new bathroom and the high quality of the materials and the standard of the work.

There are cheaper firms around but it was worth it to us to have such good care taken, to know the firm was reliable and we would not be left with substandard or uncompleted work. We can highly recommend David Pace of Fred Rose Bathrooms Total care and reliability.
