experience was extremely disappointing, especially when the company contacted me and offered a refund or discount. I wouldn’t trust them to do anything else.

Monumental Fail – I ordered the fruit and chocolate basket $153 for Fathers Day as my 90yo parents are in lock down and we haven't seen them for 2 months. Nothing at all as advertised and poor customer service – Purchased the Sauvignon Blanc gift box and it was nothing as advertised. Instead of the bottle advertised it included the cheapest you can buy for $4. The chocolates were also not as advertised. No Lindt box and just a few thrown in the box. Felt very cheap and I was ashamed to be sending such a gift. On complaining, received a very arrogant and disappointing reply with no apology. afternoon which I didn’t read until after close of business in NSW stating that all of their florists had sold out & they could either deliver on Tuesday or issue a refund. You would think on one of the busiest days of the year they would only take orders that they could fulfill. Their late response also meant it was impossible to organise delivery with any other florists. Very poorly run business which I would not recommend

Highly Recommend – I have been using Fresh Flowers and Gifts for over 2 years now to send flowers to my Elderly Mother inlaw who lives in NSW. The flowers are always so beautiful and of high quality. The website is very easy to navigate and all of her other elderly neighbours are always in awe of the most beautiful bouquets. couldn’t fly in due to covid. So we wanted to group together to do something special. On day of delivery you emailed to say you wouldn’t deliver. So no option left. Suprise ruined for her and all group who put money in. Unacceptable! Why did you confirm delivery to the area then wait until I pay and then tell me the afternoon of delivery. We waited on zoom call for her to go to reception to pick it up late arvo - it obviously wasn’t there! Refund means nothing cause it’s ruined!

if my order was still standing. Apparently not they cancelled it due to availability of flowers. I will ensure I order locally in future. On the plus side they responded to my emails quickly however they had my mobile number but did not attempt to contact me directly. Side note my Mother is recently widowed and alone as we all live interstate so she did not receive a gift on Mothers Day this year.

Go Local – I payed the fee and completed everything a week before Valentines Day for delivery on the day. Never got a confirmation call, email or message! I tried calling, emailing on the day but never got through to anyone and the phone kept going voicemail. I had to send a nasty email just to get some service. Do not use this service

DO NOT USE – I had ordered some flowers to be delivered the day before Mother's Day (I figured there would be a mad rush on the Sunday) At 6pm Saturday night I got an email saying that my order had been cancelled. No explanation as to why. Pitiful service.

Will be trying someone else next time – Firstly they sent the flowers a week early. Which I had to call to get rearranged to be sent on the right date (girlfriend's birthday). Secondly my ONLY request was that they included sunflowers which they did not manage to fulfil on the replacement order. Will be using a local florist next time.

no further attempt to contact me. By the time I got the voice message it was too late to make other arrangements.

I then emailed them and only then did I get an apology and refund offer. I asked if I arranged delivery myself would they cover the cost and they said no.

I see that their website still accepts payments for deliveries to this location which, seeing as they are unable to fulfil the contract, is certainly illegal. Please don't give these people your money.

dead. This florist is at present threatening me with debt collectors for services that were below par. The flowers received were not at all what I asked for, I have photographic evidence of what I asked for with the final result completely different. I tried to post negative reviews elsewhere although this vendor blocks and deletes it all. Do not use this vendor!!

Amazing service by Tony – I've recently purchased for mother's day and I am absolutely satisfied! The customer service is unprecedented. I had difficulty coming up with a card message, but the service rep Tony was absolutely sweet and spent half an hour with me writing the perfect message for my mother and she loved it! I can't imagine any other place to order flowers and will be ordering her again soon! Thank you fresh flowers!Thank you again Tony !!!

rural and even though their website says they deliver there, I wanted to check with an actual human. He took my order and said they would call me if they were unable to deliver to that location.

I tried following up on the Saturday but couldn't get through. Same on Sunday.

As it turns out, the flowers were never delivered. I rang to follow up and was told the money had been refunded because they couldn't find anyone to deliver to the area. When I said I had been expecting a phone call if they coulnd't deliver, I was told that it had been 'a madhouse' and very busy. They did send an email notification, as it turned out, but it had gone to my junk mail so I never saw it come in.

Fair enough that it was 'a madhouse'; I know the Mother's Day weekend is the busiest of the year. - but I was told I'd get a call if they couldn't deliver, and I never got that call. I didn't find out until two days later that the flowers never made it.

In the email, the reason they gave for not delivering was that they couldn't find a delivery service to deliver to that area. This seems to be a common thing among online florists - they list every suburb and town under the sun on their websites as their delivery areas, and then just hope they can find a courier when someone places an order.

While Fresh Flowers and Gifts were very efficient with refunding the money, their service didn't meet the expectations that they had set up. Won't be using them again.

Cheap terrible looking flowers, not what was paid for – A beautiful mothers day plant was ordered, with very specific instructions with regard to deliver. My mother has had a stroke therefore the plant needed to be delivered, not left beside a door. The plant was left beside a door, not found till the day after mothers day and it was not the plant that was ordered, instead some cheap nasty plant. The cheap and nasty was confirmed by the $15 price tag that was still on the plant.

I thought I'd write to counter some of the bad reviews.

Would I use Fresh Flowers again? Maybe but would prefer a smaller local company that can make contact with their drivers to give more information.

Should have read the reviews – 1st order placed wasn't delivered, I had to contact them to get a replacement. Gave them another try later and they didn't even ring the doorbell to deliver the flowers, just left at the front of the house. Only lucky that a nurse on call was leaving and saw it.
