Furniture N More refused to replace the mattress. Their offer was for us to by ANOTHER mattress at 50% off. For a problem that was created by their faulty products this is not good enough.

Never shopping here again – Purchased a mattress late September 2021. Within a week the mattress started to sag, and I was finding the mattress to hard after sleeping on it for a couple of weeks. the mattress to stop sagging, I wouldn't expect to have to do this after a few days. Also advised I could return the mattress at a cost to me as they could not restock/sell it. I decided to by a good mattress topper as it was the better option and cheaper. I believed I was buying from a locally owned and made store only to be advised during phone conversation that the mattress was made overseas. Will never shop here again
Disappointed!! – We went into this store to choose a new lounge suite and found one we liked except the salesman (John) said they had it in stock in every colour except the colour we wanted so it would have to be made. weeks I discovered I needed a major surgery which was costing me around $20k so we had to make the decision to cancel our order for the lounge. We had paid $1200 deposit on the lounge, and we were hoping for a store credit for that amount but "OH NO" we were advised that our lounge was a "special order" which it was not. John actually showed us the same lounge in the colour we wanted wrapped up in plastic and said it was a popular regular product and that one had been sold the previous day.
In correspondence from them they advised me to "continue to pay for the lounge at $50 a week until I get my financial situation under control (which I declined to do)
If our lounge was a "special order" then every lounge on their showroom floor (that isn't in the colour you want is a special order)
If you go to Amart or other well known furniture stores, if they don't have your colour they never say its a special order!!!
We weren't asking for our money back, we just wanted to be able to use the $1200 when we were in a better financial position to buy something again.
Disappointed, so would never shop there again nor recommend any family or friends.
Don't Waste Your TIME – Went in and was served by a blonde lady (Christine I think) who was very helpful and understood what I was looking for. On their sales docket paper (with their letterhead) she wrote down the size and recommended price of each sizing from Ottoman, single, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, and 3.5 seaters. She stated that when I came back to purchase she could do a better price.
I decided on an ottoman, single, 2.5 and a 3seater. When I went back in She was not there that day and another salesperson helped me. He was unsure about the ribbing so called Michael (1 of the 2 owners) down from the office. Michael was extremely rude and said that the lounge I chose only came in a 2.5 and a 3.5 seater. I explained that I had the list with all the sizes and prices and he said that's the one lounge we don't make and it only comes in 2.5 and 3.5. I asked why I was told differently and given written prices etc and he said oh she must have got it wrong. He also said that the ribbing she recommended could also not be done. I asked if I could speak to her when she was next in and was told no as he was the owner. I asked would he speak to her about this and he replied "no as she would just blame someone else"
I was upset by this treatment and waste of my time as had spent a long time choosing a lounge only to be told that the written information they gave me was wrong and was not even given an apology but a very rude and abrupt response from the owner.
I since went elsewhere and the sales person there used to work for them and as soon as I said the owner was rude, he said "oh Michael, he has lost them numerous sales with his attitude" I also found out that they don't actually make any of the furniture themselves which is what I was originally informed.
The try to get you to buy the limited stock they have on site on the basis it is made in QLD. I went to Harvey Norman, got a better quality lounge at a better price (ALSO MADE IN QUEENSLAND). Avoid disappointment, shop elsewhere

had not even taken it out of his van. I phoned the store and spoke to someone called Michael. He told me I had to email ‘Frank’? with any complaints. I replied no I was merely informing him that we would be returning the damaged goods the following day for a replacement, and I was not interested in emailing Frank. He immediately went in to defense saying that the mattress was perfectly alright when it left the store and we would not be able to return it. He did not even serve my son it was a female called Amanda? He then went on to say that we should have had it delivered. I asked him “why would we pay for delivery when we had a large van?” He started to tell me a story about one woman bought something......I told him I was not interested I explained again that we would be returning it the following day. He just answered rudely that we would have to deal with Amanda. We returned the mattress the following day, Amanda stood and watched as we brought the mattress in, making no attempt to greet us or ask if we needed assistance. I told her we had come for a replacement. She just kept repeating that the mattress was fine and we must have damaged it. Another lady told us just to take another off the pile. We thanked her. We said we would check that it was in good order and she responded “of course”. Amanda just shouted “you don’t need to we don’t sell damaged goods”. The new mattress was double packed in plastic unlike the original damaged one. As we left the shop she carried on shouting that my son had damaged the other mattress. Unbelievable! I notice that on the back of the docket in specifically states that all goods should be inspected and signed for by the customer stating that they are in good order. Amanda offered neither of these options to my son. My advice, don’t shop there. If you do, insist that you check the goods first because they will quite happily try and sell you damaged goods.
Amazing service, great product, helpful staff – Super happy with the service and product. Our new couch delivered same day, was a tricky delivery as we are on the 3rd floor but it was made to be no hassle and the job got done. Best couch we have ever owned. A step back in time – Looking around for some bedroom furniture and saw this huge store. As soon as we went in we thought we were in the 80s lol. So much furniture that's white lacquered and curved. Staff ignored us and sat behind their desks. Show details

Superstore super surprise – From the outside the store appears small but inside it's a different story, acres of furniture ready to go, lots of variety and the Australian Made sofa's are especially great. Worth a visit.
Returns Policy Bizzare – Purchased a bedhead - returned 3 days later still in plastic - told no refund but can have a credit note. We have a holiday resort that we manage and require several bedheads and items of furniture to upgrade our units. Guess where we won't be going to by our products and suggest others check refunds policy before purchasing.
One Of the Worst Service – I had gone there and looked at various sofas and then choose one but then the kids played with one sofa which swirl and then the service man replied with very rude language.
I love my lounge – I just received my new lounge which was customised to suit my space, it replaced the lounge that i bought there back in 2003. I got to choose the colour from a huge range and it was made right here in Queensland. The staff were really helpful especially Paulleen and it was a great experience. Now i have exactly what i want and no one else has the same thing as me, it's exclusively mine.
Very poor customer service from management – Purchase in-store outdoor furniture $1649. All colour & oil seeped out in the first 2 weeks, back to bare timber. Was advised this is called maintenance. Very aggressive management responses by email. Staff in-store were friendly and advised no maintenance at least 12 months. 2 weeks...a joke. Told to go buy oil and re-stain it. I should have taken to court, these people shouldn't get away with ripping innocent people off. Do not recommend. Buy elsewhere.
Poor Quality Leather Goods - Recliner – I bought a ($1200) Delta Leather Recliner a while back now (June 2015) and complained about the quality of leather - due to deterioration after only 5 weeks (Approx). model). Soon after, I noticed issues with the replacement, but gave up on any ideas of refund or replacement. There was a tear mark on the right side arm rest, that had been repaired (I wish I noticed on delivery), the head rest is once again deteriorating again.
Originally they tried to blame me for not cleaning regularly (every week/2 weeks with their special products). I used their special products and the deterioration occurred again! This time within 4 weeks! This was a while ago now - The replacement came around October, 2105.
Any way - I hate confrontations and arguing - so let it go, as far as getting a refund. I now place a fabric over the head rest, to minimize the deterioration, and continue to use a leather cleaner - no longer their choice of product - as it was useless.
I hope others see this as a warning sign - either before buying from here or checking carefully gods upon delivery for marks, tears, repairs, etc.
Not impressed - you burned me once - you won't get me again.

calls from this point requested I email photos of the damage to a generic customer service address. I did as requested and followed up with another call. At this point I had a very odd, almost "Faulty Towers" type exchange.
As the mattress was less than 24 hours old I wanted it replaced immediately. The odd response as follows.
I advised the email had been sent and asked when we would receive the replacement to which the employee stated:
"when we hear about it."
When I asked what that meant he again replied:
"When we hear about the damage."
I said what do you mean, this is my second call to you, email has been sent and again your hearing about it right now. For the 3rd time he gave the same ridiculous statement. Realising I was now getting the run around I asked for the store manager. To this I was told "we don't really have a manager, we all just do our thing" but not to worry "because we'll look after you."
The conversation got heated, I demanded the replacement be delivered the next day. They complied with my request and delivered another mattress with the same damage. The delivery driver stated it was the least damaged out of 3 they inspected at the warehouse.
I'd had enough and advised I wanted a refund as this was simply unacceptable. I was advised they'd send a cheque, I asked when this would happen and couldn't get an answer. I rang the store and said I would be down for an eftpos refund as the whole experience was less than reassuring or professional.
On arriving at the store for the refund I was affronted by the salesman who was unhappy about "how much this has cost us." I told him I wasn't interested in his nonsense as it had cost us more personal time and fuel not to mention running around to get the refund and to look for another mattress with three kids.
The final little game was to pretend he didn't know how to do a refund exactly but would "have a go" and not to be upset if it didn't go through as the "manager" usually handles refunds.
I said "what manager don't you all just do your thing." The refund was successful bringing an end to the whole shoddy experience.
This self proclaimed stalwart of the furniture industry on the Gold Coast I found to be wanting in both customer service and product quality.
