the way. Communication and administration could sometimes be frustrating, and there were times when I felt I needed to chase information or clarification myself, which added unnecessary stress to what is already a significant life event.
That said, any issues that arose were ultimately addressed, and the team remained willing to work through concerns as they came up. Building a home is a complex process, and while the experience wasn't always seamless, the quality of the finished product speaks for itself.
Overall, G&P delivered a home that I genuinely love, and I appreciate the effort that went into bringing my vision to life.

no problems. We went over our budget, but we kind of expected that. The wardrobes ended up less expensive going through G&P than if we did it ourselves though.

always available to chat to us about our build, sometimes even when he isn’t working! We have met the majority of the trades and they have all delivered the best quality of work. Everyone has been so friendly and helpful throughout this whole process, from the office staff to the trades but in particular, we have really appreciated the outstanding support from Cory and the site supervisor, Todd. Not only have we received the best customer service but the quality of the build is far superior to what we have seen in other builds. Also, due to their very thorough quote process, we have received no additional costs due to rising building supply prices from the pandemic that others have experienced. Did not even get through the initial draft stage – In Feb 2021, we met with the sales consultant at and listed down what we wanted for the build. Waited for almost 2 months. And the day we were to be presented the draft, the designer "lost her data". Complete waste of time but glad we changed builders at this stage rather than later. case our experience was awful. 8 weeks with no initial draft. If you are going with G&P builder, just make sure you are kept updated with the progress.
We did have a challenging block so glad we went with a more custom builder in the end.
Great Quality Home by an Excellent Builder – PLANNING STAGE: Our planner was great, and likewise our site manager. like the homes they build for you. (You will not find their homes in display villages - they just build a few homes to function as example homes.)
FOUNDATION AND FRAME: For most aspects, and especially important aspects, like the foundation and frame, G & P default to high quality "traditional methods". For example, all timber is treated, and they do not use "waffle pod" slabs. No doubt this costs a little bit more, but the foundation and frame are the most important part of a house, and therefore we thought this was worth it.
FIXTURES: The workmanship and build quality are excellent because they employ really good tradesmen and tradeswomen. They used an incredibly helpful colour/selections/flooring consultant. The kitchen and laundry are excellent, as are the bathrooms. The tiling in particular is outstanding.
At 12 months we only had a few minor things to be fixed up, and they were.
Our only criticism is related to how involved we had to be in the process to prevent errors. This was quite stressful. The high-level project management was OK, but not great. If we had not been visiting the site regularly, there would have been some errors, mostly minor and mostly correctable. One error, however, would have been significant, and not correctable, had we not spotted it. Some site meetings were rushed.
We recommend this builder and believe they are better than most others in Brisbane and its surrounds.
Quality that lasts – 7 years ago G&P built my house. Today I look back at everything they did for me with grateful appreciation. The quality of their work is outstanding and passes the test of time. Couldn't be happier – As first tine builders we opted for a smaller family owned company over the larger builders after seeing frustrations from our friends and boy are we happy we did. Workmanship was spot on and any small things (jammed doorlock for example) were replaced quickly prior to handover.
They kept the site clean and trades men were willing to chat. Also GnP were happy for us to be on site thoughout the whole process.
Finally, a huge bonus was that if the sales person said something at the time of signing that wasn't in the contract they honoured it anyway.
We are so thankful that with three kids under 5, our family will remember this with positive and exciting memories.

importance on safety and good housekeeping on the job site, and delivered on schedule and under budget. In contrast, our neighbour had 30 variations and 18 months of building with a major Brisbane building brand before he kicked them out to finish the work himself! Great team of trades, working together to minimise interface issues. Get them to use some else other than Stegbar for the screens & mirrors - 8 trips back & they still can't figure our how to get it done.
OK – if you build with gp make sure to take note on the qualify of finishes etc paint work,front doors and handles brick work and just don't go along with she be right mate make sure you stand your ground to put things right it is a lot of money you are spending they are a great team while it is beening built but not went things go wrong nice display… Read more

Excellent – I like the layouts of thier plans, thier workman ship looks great(thats becuase they ARE the builder), heaps of plans to chose from, though not many 2 story ones! you can't view all of their plans online, if thier plans don't suit you then they can build yours, or they will design a new plan for you! they don't have any five bed plans, but there… Read more
are still some big ones. you have to download the plans to view them which is realy a pian. drove passed some of the huoses they were building and they look really good. nice display home, great workman ship, the display looks like an expensive house but was properly cheap to build. the streetscape looks upmarket. not enough storage in any of the plans, website hard to navagate and use, they only have one display home.
