The hose kinks all the time when rolling it out, very frustrating
Bought 1 of each April 2022. The big one was quite good, but not kink free ever. After a year, it was a nightmare to use. It was like being in a den of snakes. did, it just did another twist again. It was out of control, I had the cardboard packaging still and the receipt, Aldi refunded me no problem. I wish I had taken photos of all the kinks, but I do not take the phone into the garden in case I drop it or it gets wet. Im not sure who tested these hoses, but not Aldi's usual good quality, they did not go hard, but they had a mind of their own for kinking in several places. To get a hose that doesnt kink, I believe you have to spend 3 times Aldi prices, Im on Hoselink and Aussie Gardeners website now! The small hose (blue) had a constant drip from the fittings when I fitted a 2 litre container sprayer to it. Maddening.
Not fit for purpose. Followed the instructions and had it straightened out and under pressure for two days to loose PVC memory. Nevertheless, hose kinked immediately and very hard and stiff hose, difficult to roll up. Not enough softener in the PVC. Very poor quality product. I chucked it out 2 weeks after purchase. we bought a hose 30 meters only to find that after we tried to connect the hose to our standard hose the ends on the water hose bought from Aldi's were like the attachment on an air hose and that two additional hose connectors were missing. what I do not like is when a store says the item was never purchased there and the store intentionally sells a defective product - no i DO NOT want and EXCHANGE - nor do I want a refund, what i want to that the store pays for their intentional deception through fair trading, many times over

Worst hose ever purchased – Gardenline grey hose 30m with stainless tap fittings blows up to double its size and just kinks and folds flat. as I didn't keep the purchase docket. The manager was rude and refused straight away due to the missing paperwork. When we protested and said we were regulars and the product was identifiably theirs, she said we might have stolen it. We were gobsmacked and asked where trust and fairness comes into this request for an exchange. She questioned what trust and fairness on Aldi's part was needed. We replied the trust and fairness we deserved relates to the warranty they give and the courtesy of looking at the product and the photos I took of the holes. She didn't budge on the blank refusal to engage further. We walked out without shopping there this week.
Best hose ever – I bought a hose with what looks to be stainless fittings, it’s probably not but the quality of this 15 metre hose I’ve not bought before. Fantastic it has a 20 year guarantee too. Kinks like you wouldn't believe – I have bought many garden hoses over the years of such brands as Pope and Nylex. I thought I'd try this Aldi purchased Gardenline hose and it takes the cake as it kinks like you wouldn't believe. Every time I use the hose I have to un-kink it at between 4-6 locations along the hose line. It is also a nightmare trying to wind it back onto the hose reel after use as the hose convolutes any which way. Avoid this convoluted hose. Show details
Taints the water – I think there is some reaction with the hose rubber that is affecting the water quality. My dog won't drink it, and I agree it seems to have a chemical taste to it.. I want to take it back but they will think I'm mad. Anyone else with this issue let me know?!

Gardenline hose 20m – This hose is the worst I have bought. The hose head, fitting doesn't fit at all and when first used and since, sprays out of the head everywhere. Terrible quality. I have bought two and I will never buy them again.
Gardenline hose – The gardenline hose real at Aldi is 10 time better than the $200 pope garden hose we bought in bunnings. Next time aldi have them in i am definitely getting another one. Show details
NO WARRANTY – Bought this hose reel and seemed fine, would have said worth the money, then it went wrong! Usually this is not a problem with things purchased from ALDI, but on this occasion Gardenline informed me it is not under warranty when it clearly is, have emailed them for an explanation but all they have done is ignored any correspondence since their statement, DO NOT BUY GARDENLINE PRODUCTS AS SEEMS NOTHING IS COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. A new use for this hose – I bought this hose at my local Aldi's couple months ago. I've had 2 leaks in this hose that I repaired and now have a 3rd one. Thinking about turning it into a soaker hose. What you pay is what you GET – Buy a hoselink retractable hose , get value for money, very easy instructions and easy to install. Only have to buy a 12mm concrete drill bit and use a hammer drill or borrow friends drill Garden line are trying to make a poor copy of other opposition models on the cheapside Show details
Not so good, get what you pay for – Hose is very soft, had to repair one already, don't know what caused it to open up, kinks way too easy. Spend a few more dollars elsewhere and save the headaches. Show details
The water reel does not work – I bought the ALDI hose reel, it barely connects to to the tap and no water gets to the end of the hose. Useless
TERRIBLE HOSE!!!!! – Shocking hose, couldn't get it to work even though I spent ages trying to, neither could gardener. Returned it and received a refund. Waste of my time and time and money spent on gardener trying to get it to work. Don't be tempted to ever buy one, total waste of time and money!!!!!!
horrible – I Bought it this past spring and in 6 months it was dry rotted by october....worst purchase ever will never buy this hose again.
high kink resistance for price – Very flexible hose and has nice connectors with soft rubber grips that fitted to all my older garden hose stuff. Shopped around and found slightly cheaper hose options but not with the kink resistance (8 out of 10) and for the price (about $30 for the 20 metre hose). Also comes with 10 year guarantee. High kink resistance yet to see how it lasts...
