Underquoting has continued despite the 2005 ruling against Gary Peer. They try to scoop up everything in the Stonnington/Port Philip/Glen Eira area and string first home buyers like us along with underquotes in order to get auction bidders. stories from would be buyers. I have heard of severe nepotism such as an auctioneer and an agent who are father and son. Today, I have read on this site’s reviews about the toxic culture of Gary Peer for employees and it doesn’t surprise me even slightly. If you are buying in that area, look for smaller, more honest firms. Sadly, some big names - like Gary Peer - are only big because they manipulate others and cater to the greed of a few. If you sell with them, you are unwittingly worsening the housing crisis and should view the exorbitant commission they are reputed to charge as karma.

Even when I was panicked, angry and in the wrong -Tracey was ALWAYS calm, friendly, pleasant and quick in her response to issues raised, easy to get a hold of, knowledgeable and most importantly gave the current legally correct advice -hard to do when they are constantly changing the laws! I genuinely felt like I was her only customer -as a tenant!! I have been with other agents that treated me like crap even as a landlord to which I used to think if they are treating me like this as a landlord imagine how they are treating my tenants! I was bounced around from one property manager to the next and often found it hard to reach my property manager and that they were genuinely apathetic and did the bare minimum in their service to me as a landlord -not with Tracey and Gary Peer though even as a tenant! As a tenant she treated me exceptionally well! It has always been easy to get a hold of and is always knowledgeable with the CORRECT answers! Something I haven't experienced with other Property managers! Her experience shows with her unsurpassed knowledge, ability to stay calm and her quick responsiveness to all issues. You genuinely feel like you are her only customer -she is amazing! I can't recommend Tracey Freestone and Gary Peer St Kilda highly enough -by far the best service I have ever received in real estate property management! Rental property manager – Our rental block's property manager, Nicole Symeonidis, is the most diligent and courteous we have had in the 35 years I have been here.

Avoid This Property Management Company – Unknowledgeable junior property manager that didn't know what they were doing and showed no care with regard to my property. property manager was tenant focused with no care for the owner of the property who's paying for the service. I have no confidence in Gary Peer and would never use them again. They were unable to competently manage my property and left issues unresolved. I would not recommend Gary Peer to anyone that wants their property to be managed with care, good conduct and professionalism.

Bad experience – [Name Removed] is the ring master of clown [Name Removed] at Gary Peer. No care was shown with regard to my property. My bad experience with Gary Peer came as a great shock and was sad and disappointing. Misleading conduct led to lost and no confidence in Gary Peer. Unable to competently manage my property and left issues unresolved. I would not recommend at all, period.

Worst real estate agent I’ve ever had – I wish it was possible to choose 0 stars. Literally the worst agent I’ve ever had. We have to take them to VCAT because they can’t do their jobs.

Gary Peer and Associates have managed our property for years. Nicole, our property manager, has been efficient, courteous and knowledgeable throughout. We recommend her and the firm to all property owners looking to rent out their properties.

Diligence – Our dealings with Jack Slater, were efficient, effective and very professional. At all times very friendly, helpful, hard working and made me feel at ease.

Great result, with a great agent ! – Arlen Joffe was an amazing agent in all aspects of selling my Toorak apartment. After each inspection I was given up to date information. I also like the way Arlene spoke to potential buyers during inspections when I was around. She spoke very honestly.

Unsubscribing – I viewed a property they were selling and now get endless text messages on properties for sale. If you press the unsubscribe button you will find it doesn't work (deliberately inactivated??) Text messages don't have a phone number but have the name "garrypeer" which my phone says is an invalid number and can't be blocked. Kogan were recently fined $300,000 for not complying with regulations I think I'll report them to ACMA

LANDLORD – attention all people looking to rent from Gary peer Bentleigh office, I lived in north road clayton for nearly years the landlord [Name Removed] would not spend one cent on the unit, I had to take Gary peer three times to VCAT over this pathetic landlord who hides behind Gary peer who sits on his [Word Removed] to have a [Word Removed] do not rent from this landlord when his name appears

the way in which we have witnessed many of their agents being spoken down to, berated, put down and humiliated by their Auctioneers/Directors. This sort of behaviour in my opinion is unacceptable and makes me very uncomfortable. Many of our friends/family have also witnessed the same sort of behaviour from their so called 'leaders'. We too are business owners however we build our employees up because we appreciate and value our staff...after all we are nothing without them. The shame is on these Directors - how embarrassing.
