Eighteen years and just died because of dead frogs on pcb – Has done a great job of cooling and heating 150sqm for eighteen years. There are probably more efficient models now, however it's done a great job with no problems. Great.

Purchased in at RetraVision for $1,800.

Excellent – The unit has operated without missing a beat for more than 4 years and I'm happy to say I'm more than pleased with the purchase. It really makes an enormous difference to our entire home. During the dry summer we use it in conjunction with an evaporative cooler. Quiet, very reliable and very powerful. The inverter control works very effectively and reduces the power usage considerably.

Terrible – Don't touch Fujitsu! If you're lucky to get one that doesn't break you might be ok, but if you need customer service you're stuffed. You may as well chose another brand to start with. It worked for 18months. Horribly noisy from day one. Got noisier before it died. Died within warranty and Fujitsu said it was our fault for not cleaning the filters which caused the compressor to break. Fujitsu wouldn't even discuss us paying to repair it. They treated us like dirt! Absolutely apalling customer service and a truly crap product. We replaced with a panasonic (we had another panasonic which is 10years old and going strong) and it's fantastic. I will NEVER recommend Fujitsu - total rubbish and terrible customer service.
