4 Liz  · Cleaning – I had some juice go through the base how do i clean it
4 Mismaxd  · Functions well – The machine works great, My only gripe is the length of the vessels being too long making them difficult to dry.
1 leanne  · Leaks everywhere – Was really impressed so purchased 3. One for a gift. Two days apart both rubber seals buckled and leak everywhere.
5 Tina  · Perfect! – This is a fantastic blender - easy to use and great for smoothies. I would recommend it to anyone and it's perfect for gifts as well
2 Brihac  · Bottle not compatible!! – Package States compatible with older model mix n go bottles.... This is NOT true!! Bottles leak and don't fit correctly at all!
1 Carol  · Disappointing – Worked well at the start now leaks every where the rubber ring on the moter is to big I would not recommend it Very Disappointed

It won't last long! – It seems the problems I had aren't unique to me. Once you've navigated past the obvious company paid for product reviews, you get a good idea of what this product actually offers. It is a very good machine at first. It's fast, blends well and easy to use. The design isn't too good though. It has a very awkward drinking lid that is not designed… Read more

for anything past water.

The blending cap is a very strange design, with a random and somewhat pointless rubber seal that doesn't fit snugly and lives over holes. So when the seal fails, which it will do after a few weeks, your smoothly will start to flood over you worktop. To make matters worse, the blade cogs leak a mixture of oil and grated plastic in to your smoothly while mixing. This is the black liquid people ask about. It can't be healthy, especially as plastic can be a carcinogen.

Cleaning the blade lid is quite difficult due to all the random crevasses and strange click together parts it's made of. After a few months, the top blade lid broke completely. The plastic that housed the blade cogs just gave way and broke. No doubt you can buy replacement parts as this product looks like it was designed to fail.

So is this product cheap? No. Because to have the same lifetime as a product 3 times the cost, you have to buy 10. Do the math!

Awesome for the price – Bought this about 8 months ago and am very happy with it. Wouldn't put hard fruit in it though. I usually make banana smoothies sometimes mango or blueberry, it's brilliant for those. Sometimes it makes a funny noise and you need to make sure it's put on properly. Tip: only fill 3/4 full or you'll have problems with overfill leading to leakage (… Read more ·  2

I'm guessing that's what's happened to previous reviews) and it doesn't like being too full. Simply fill, screw on top, put on and whizz. Then take off motor lid and replace with drink lid. One container for mixing and drinking, easy.

Overall, I was really surprised with the quality for the price. Am very happy, will be buying one for christmas gift and will purchase another once this one goes. At this price, am not expecting it to last a couple of years as it gets used constantly, but I would happily buy another. Brilliant for the price, would recommend to anyone wanting to make quick smoothies without the cleaning drama. I've got three kids who all like different smoothies, it's easy to give them what they each want without any drama. Buy one, you'll be happy.

Best purchase I've made this year! – I make smoothies every morning, I received a fantastic stick blender for Christmas last year and have been using that, I buy whole strawberries in bulk and freeze them- the stick blender takes quite a bit of coaxing to get through them- though I didn't think anything of it, that is what i would expect of any product. I had seen similar products… Read more

to the Mix and Go online and thought it was a fantastic idea ( I loved the idea of less mess and having a convenient bottle I could take on the go). When I saw The Mix and Go on a promotional special I couldn't go past it at just over $30 for the mixer and 3 bottles (you'd pay that for just the bottles in most retail stores!) I read through the booklet and kept looking for a catch, can you only fill the bottles half way? no, is it difficult to clean? nope (it's all dishwasher safe too!), I couldn't resist using it as soon as I got home to see how it performed. I was blown away by it's performance, I loaded it with whole frozen strawberries and frozen banana (chopped) and topped it half way with almond milk. I kid you not I had a smoothie in under 6 seconds. It seemed to be done- but I didn't believe it- i thought the blades had just failed to pull under all the strawberry, I ran a spoon through it and it was smooth as anything. I was absolutely amazed! This $30 more convenient blender had managed to achieve what my $60 stick blender couldn't in 60 seconds in under 10! and I had it immediately in a bottle to go, I just had to rinse the blender component and it was done. I am loving this product so far, it's easy to clean, convenient, inexpensive, powerful and effective and it looks great. The only negative thing I could say is that the motor component has seemed to leave a slight burning smell (nothing major, you can just tell it's hot, even if I'm using fruit/veggies that are chopped finely) which has me questioning the longevity- but we will see! It truly is Mix and Go! Very easy to use, great performance and low cost! no complaints here- will have to see about longevity?

Powerful little blender – Althogh the box states low wattage, this little blender is powerful and makes really good milkshakes and smoothies. It can break through ice with ease. I have used it for a year now and would definitely recommend it.  Show details

Good, but not the best – I wasn’t overly satisfied with the ability of the machine to be able to blend the ingredients for my smoothies. It always came out chunky and with large bits floating throughout the drink no matter how many times I would shake the mixture and re-blend. The cups that you get to blend the drinks in are also very difficult to clean. For a cheap… Read more

blender I would say it’s okay, but if you drink smoothies often I would recommend spending a bit more money on something that is of a better quality.

Good blender, does the job – The blender is easy to use and does the job well, after a bit of shaking every now and then (for an even mix). The bottles are a little difficult to clean but are perfect for on the go drinks. I use it for drinking water too!  Show details

so good we bought one for home and one for the office – This blender works a treat. I use it to make a lot of fruit smoothies using frozen fruit and ice cubes. It handles the ice cubes so well, you get a smoothie that's as good as the shop bought ones. The only negative is cleaning, it is nearly impossible to fully clean the top of the base unit without the use of cotton buds or something similar. I've… Read more

Good quality but fundamentally the same product as competitors – This machine is reliable and blends very well. I use it each morning with frozen fruits, and it has no trouble cutting through these. Very rarely does something fail to blend - sometimes with very dry ingredients or partially blends but fails to mix half of the contents. However, I suspect the product is the same as many other 'blend and go' style… Read more

Easy to use but noisy – This blender is ok if you just want a simple banana smoothie. It's easy to use but does not blender well. It is very noisy when running. Also it is hard to drink from as the opening is too small. Ok for kids smoothies but not practical for everyday use.  Show details

Early mornings made easy – I bought this product to help me kick start my heath and fitness journey and it was a really great addition to my appliances! I loved making banana smoothies however I found it couldn’t handle more than a few ingredients at a time (didn’t blend well enough). It also didn’t last as long as I had hoped it would, but for a few months there it really did the job and I was happy enough with that  Show details

Very easy to use! – Love the travel cups, and the fact that you can (or were able to) buy spare cups! The blender does a great job on fruit, veg etc. I wouldn't put too much hard stuff (like ice) in it, the little motor struggles a bit. I love its compact size, easy to chuck in the cupboard when not in use - and the different coloured cups suit everyone in the family. I've taken this to work on occasions, very handy and efficient!!  Show details

Not as good as the bullet – It’s okay, but I find that with anything a bit more solid, it really struggles. It struggled with my protein powder as it was a little more dry but the bullet can do it in seconds. I would continue using it, just with more liquidy drinks not thick smoothies  Show details

Great for smoothies, blending spices etc – I love my George Foreman. I have a spare bottle for blending/crushing my whole spices into powder and it works great.
