Asolutely love my GHD – It is my go to product when I am feeling flat...I feel instantly glam after I use it. Simple & super quick heat up design allows me to have salon hair in no time. I also love how compact it is for travelling in my vintage caravan to shows:)

Great product – The straighter only a couple of seconds to heat up. It heats up fantastically. It only takes ten minutes to straighten my hair amazing. Very easy to use throughly recommended it for people with thin hair

Does not get better than this – Ghd is known for their quick 30 second heat up phase and the v gold mini does just that, it is perfect for people like my mum who have fine, short hair. Pretty much takes her 5 minutes flat to get the results she wants. Love Ghd, they are among the best of the best.

Great – GHD is every girls favourite, everyone of my friends always had one and I have always wanted to get my hands on my own! I don’t regret it they are so good. I have wavy kinda of hair and this straighter makes it so straight and the ends aswel! I use to use a iron my ends but I don’t need to anymore!

ultimately chose the GHD because it didn't get quite as hot as other brands (my research says it gets to 185 degrees) which is a good thing for me personally because I have semi-straight fine hair, so I don't need 200 degrees +!).

I also couldn't help but notice the good reviews about the company itself...it seems most people who have had their GHD die a premature death had no issues with getting their warranty honoured, which is what ultimately convinced me to purchase such an expensive luxury. Call me stingy, but I am a mother and I was a bit apprehensive about making such an extravagant purchase for myself!

It has no variable temperature, but when I used it the first time this evening it did not fry my hair on the ends like my cheapies did, and seemed to do a much better job at dealing with the cowlicks. I normally have to wet my hair and blow dry it before straightening, so as a busy mum I appreciate eliminating the extra step.

Upon turning it on, the GHD logo flashes and the straightener emits a friendly beeping noise. A few seconds later it will beep and flash one more time letting you know it's ready to go. I vaguely sectioned off my hair and away I went. Once I finished styling, I applied my usual styling product to finish up, and that was it! No snagging, no burnt ends, nice and smooth and shiny! For once I didn't need to add shine spray!

The only reason I took a star off is because of the price...it is not far off from the price of a "standard" GHD, however while doing my research I noticed it is only the plates that are smaller, the "body" of the straightener is the same size as the standard GHD, which once again poses another advantage over the cheap ones, no burnt fingers!

I'm not sure if I am a true convert to the GHD yet, but I am pleased with my purchase so far. I do recommend giving the mini GHD a try though if you have stubborn cowlicks, if you are as fortunate as me it will be worth it!

Worth the money – I bought this a few weeks ago and an very satisfied with the performance, coming from cheap hair straighteners in the past, this hair straightener heats up quickly and straightens my hair without damaging.

Fantastic for short hair – This straightener is a must have for short hair. I bought it after the hairdresser used it on me. Heats up incredibly fast, makes shiny curls/waves. Expensive travel straighter that is built to last – I always reach for this travel straightener for trips away from home and it always delivers with its sturdy build and small compact design. Whilst it may not have as much power as other straighteners I've always found it to do the job well. I wouldn't recommend for daily use but great for travelling!

slick. I would definitely recommend this anyone with short hair, it’s so much more conventient for shorter styles than the regular sized GHD.

My wife loved it – I bought this for my wife as a birthday present and she totally loved it, it worked really well too compared to the other hair straightener she has always had.

Love it – Love my mini straightener. I can’t live with out it. It fits in my bag and can take it almost anywhere with me. It’s small and does a fantastic job of my hair. Good but a bit small – Great quality and fast straightening of hair. This hair straightener does not seem to damage my hair as much as other products, but since its smaller it does tend to take a little longer

shiny, smooth finish. Takes a swift to heat up the plates and all I can say its that the results are fantastic. Such a good product. Worth every cent, I would recommend it to others.

versatile – As a hairdresser I use all the sizes of GHD these minis are very versatile great for curling or spikes. wouldn't recommend these for long hair unless just for curling or adding texture. great for party hair. mine get worked pretty hard and heat up well and have lasted for years :) vesatility. Good – I have longer hair so should have bought a bigger model, but even so, it heats up well and straightens well. I haven't mastered the curls, flicks etc. yet but that is more of a user error than the product itself. Heats up quickly Compact in size None so far
