Waited far too long long @ least 3-4 ti memes normal wait for my coffee no one else in the store, whole staff concentrating on the drive through & then l had to ask for my sausage roll which was just sitting there. Good venue & Ciffee & food crap service!!!

They don’t accept their own vouchers, I had these vouchers gifted and when I tried to use them . Gloria jeans Stanhope garden refused to accept as they want me to get the columns updated . Such a shame! Never gift or receive Gloria gift vouchers… Shame

 Follow-up  · The issue is only with store at Stanhope gardens , all other store are genuine. Anyways they are not even bothered to follow up.

I hadn't asked for it. They always used to say "Would you like cream on top"? Now they don't... The cappuccino cheesecake was overpriced at $9.50 and quite stale There was a notable decline in the quality of staff! I will not be going to this branch again Interesting that google says this branch is closed but I was there this morning!!!

It’s was scrumptious – I got a mango/passion fruit smoothie it was amazing! It tasted exactly like the fruits when I took a sip it washed my mouth with a lovely mango flavour with and equally as amazing passion fruit after taste! Protein chillers – They come in three different flavours: salted caramel, chocolate brownie and strawberries and cream. They look so attractive on the poster. What we were served looked nothing like it. No whipped cream on top. And the rest was just processed ice cubes in different flavours. Very disappointing! Definitely not the $7.30 Gloria Jean’s is charging per chiller ☹️

POOR Quality CUPS – The new cups are terrible, spilling all over because of the wide brim. Coffee makers are overflowing the cup with hardly any froth for a cappuccino. poor quality brim that didn't last long and became too oaked from the coffee for the lid to stay on. I have burnt myself several times with the wide brimmed cup as it just spills everywhere, even if the lid is on.

Please change these cups, and go back to the original cups before the last 2 you had.

Ripped off – I ordered my LARGE coffee n scones. Asked for seniors discount but he forgot to do it. When I realised this I approached him n he said he would do it for me when the queue died down a little. immediately went to the counter n spoke with the girl who delivered it. She told me that they were new cups to replace the large black cups and that they were the same size. I told her that they weren’t the same size, which was quite obvious just looking at it. She continued to defend herself in front of customers as did myself. Why was I paying for something that I had not ordered! Then out if no where this older staff member came on to the scene to defend the younger staff member. She got the two cups and filled one with water and with her back to me (doing it over the sink) she continued to pour the water from one cup to the other saying they were both the same. I couldn’t see so I asked her for the cups. I told them that I wasn’t impressed with the performance that they had just put on. The younger staff member has asked what I wanted to which I said I want what I paid for simple. She then poured my original coffee from the green cup to a large black cup and low n behold I WAS RIGHT! She added another half, three quarters of an inch of milk to the cup to fill it. Shame on the staff member who tried to prove that they were the same size, as it had nothing to do with you to start with, and you ended with egg on your face! Lovely way to start a coffee meeting with a friend not to mention the ‘circus performance’ in front of customers. And what is seniors discount, I was told 5./. by the guy, then the young girl said 10./.? I was given back 55c seniors discount, was I ripped off there as well? When you Google it, it states 10./. on drinks!

AVOID – My husband and I attended Bassendean yesterday 12/04/2024 at around 910am, to purchase a light breakfast and coffees. We have been supporting the Bassendean store as long as we can recall. over our food, then due to her inexperience wiped it from the plate with her bare hands. We did not embarrass her or even worry about it, as she was new and was learning, no issues. However, my coffee was extremely hot and tasted terrible. My husband’s wasn't the best but he chose to drink it however his extremely hot also.

I tried but could not even drink 3 small mouthfuls, it was awful. My husband approached the more experienced female and asked politely for a replacement coffee, I had not touched more than a few mouthfuls. His request was met with total sarcasm and outright rudeness- the staff member stated that she has made what he ordered and that's that. He politely asked for a different type of coffee, so that on our anniversary we could join each other for a coffee. This request was met by more sarcasm and outright NO, basically go away. He stated that he did not agree and would report the incident to her manager and we departed the store, also leaving his coffee.

I have been diagnosed with PTSD due to a traumatic incident which happened to me in 2021, one of my joys is to sit and have a coffee with my husband, this has been absolutely destroyed by this employee, I can only describe her as having no empathy and extremely poor customer service skills.

I would please ask that she receive some sought of guidance over the incident, which unknown and maybe non-intentional had a very stressful affect and caused a horrible experience, including not being able to return to a place I have enjoyed for years.

My cash wasnt good enough for them – They didn't want my cash so i walked out leaving my order of banana cake and coffee on desk...I wont be going back... Imagine living in a world where businesses don't want your cash.. ,we are the customers, you want to take our money so we decide how we pay you, its not for you to decide as we are the ones that keep you open... i will now visit the little family run coffee shops.

Disgusting Discrimination against older people by going cashless – I am disgusted that Gloria Jeans would go cashless thereby discriminating against older people and those who choose to only want to use cash. They are permanently banned by myself and any of my staff members who claim expenses related to Gloria Jeans will not have these expenses paid

Unhygienic practises – I tell you what...take a look at the cleanliness of the milk jug, and the cloth that wipes the steamer spout!!! Often, they are disgusting, some younger ones especially, use same rag over and over!!! Poor Service - Dismissive Staff – Café tables were all full with dirty plates/cutlery with no-one picking anything up from 9 tables not clean, waitress seemed put out when asking her to clean our table. I’d never return. Not recommended!
