Dear Go Vita Customer Service Team, I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I recently experienced at your stores. Firstly, I visited your Carindale store in Qld and found that the staff had very limited product knowledge, which made it difficult to get the assistance I needed. Secondly, during my visit to your Carindale store,… Read more

I encountered staff who were extremely rude and arrogant. This behavior is unacceptable and does not reflect the level of professionalism customers expect. I value your brand and have always appreciated quality service, which is why this experience was particularly disappointing. I hope you will address these issues promptly through additional training and by reinforcing customer service standards. Please let me know what steps will be taken to ensure this does not happen again. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Kind regards,

Lilian - Go Vita - Customer Service Queen – I wish to commend Lilian at Go Vita, (Marrickville Metro), for wonderful customer service for which she deserves at least a pay rise. Unlike so many of my retail experiences, Lilian did not stand in front of a row of products and along with me read labels to tell me what was what. Her product knowledge was detailed and demonstrated depth. Lilian’s… Read more ·  1

Very informative experience – I recent visited this store because I wanted a natural remedy to the common symptoms experienced during the annoying Hayfever Season. Previously avoided stores like these because of their exuberant pricing. But after $45 lighter my symptoms have subsided for now. Though I wanted to point out that in this review that differs from my usually… Read more ·  1

more in-depth versions.

That the customer experience exceeded my expectation, being served, I was informed and only wanted something to alleviate the symptoms and was given a brief explanation and the dosage requirements on the product.

These sorts of people operating in these stores should be the social norm. Being able to answer all of your questions or concerns as opposed to some one who just sells and doesn't give a care in the world just to cover their bottom line.

Having enjoyed my experience, I will definitely come back again.

Noting that I may have unfairly given four stars out of five, due to the price only.

Don't Buy a Gift Card – Purchased a Go Vita Gift card from Fairview Green store SA, they did not tell us that we can only use it in their store and no other. I drove an hour to a different store to use my card and was declined as Fairview Green locked it for their store only. poor and possibly racially motivated – I visited Go Vita store Epping Plaza on 18th August 24 at 13:27 pm. The customer service was so bad and I felt mistreated and ignored from the staff member without welcome or assist me which’s frustrating and upsetting me. When my friend and I entered the store, we were completely ignored by the staff member, who was busy assisting another… Read more

customer. While I initially thought this might be due to the other customer arriving before us, the continued lack of acknowledgment was concerning. I asked my friend, Mervat, to look at some items with me, speaking in Arabic. The staff member gave me an angry look, which made me feel uncomfortable, as if she misunderstood or was offended by me speaking in another language.

After approximately 10 minutes, the staff member finally asked if I needed help, but her response was dismissive, telling me to "wait." When I later approached her to ask about multivitamins, and if she can explain what it’s contained and do I need anything else? She replied it’s all B. I said so do I need more vitamins with it? She said the shelf from wall to wall you have a look. I was like ooooh, again I said: can I take vitamin D and magnesium supplements? She replied; yes. I went with my friend to self help. This was in stark contrast to how she treated other customers, whom she engaged with warmly, offering advice, moving from her desk to support them and asking if they were members or if they wanted to sign up.

When it was my turn to pay, she was grumpy, did not smile, and only reluctantly provided brief instructions on how to use the products I purchased. I asked about the drink for high blood pressure and cholesterol and how much to drink and she said 50 Mel. I said once a day. She said twice. I felt I am grabbing words from her mouth. Then she said are you member? I said no and she said it’s $120, I paid and left. But after that I said to my friend how to take the vitamins morning or night? Together or separate? I feel she was rude to me, I am not okay? My friend replied yes she was so rude to you and only supported some people not us, didn’t you notice?. I went to her and I waited again and finally she said do you have a quick question? I said yes you didn’t tell me how to take the vitamins? You didn’t ask me to sign out? She replied usually customers ask for sign up not us? I said actually no, always shops asking not customers and you just asked everyone except me? But she dismissed my concern and said ok next time. I was speechless and really in shocked. I spoke to my Poland friend about her experience with the same shop and she explained how amazing and friendly staff, which’s make it more clear as my friend white skin and blond hair. So it’s only me feel this way.

After reflecting on this experience, I strongly believe that the treatment I received was racially motivated. The difference in how I, a person with darker skin was treated compared to other customers was glaring. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable and deeply troubling. I am requesting that Go Vita takes this matter seriously and investigates this incident thoroughly. Especially I go through the page reviews and definitely it’s a big concern about the customer service for long period without solutions. I believe it's important to ensure that all customers, regardless of their background, receive the same level of respectful and helpful service. I would appreciate feedback on how this issue will be addressed to prevent similar experiences in the future.

Pricing Issues – I recently visited Go Vita in Epping and purchased Grants Mouthwash which I was glad to find in stock on the shelf. However upon leaving and reviewing the pricing on the receipt I found a pricing discrepancy. speak to the lady who served me but she was on the phone. It wasn't worth waiting as the difference was only 50 cents. However upon checking online with other retailers - Healthy Life has it for $10.80. But the most worrying thing is the RRP is actually $13.50 - so at $14.45 it was sold to me above the RRP. I don't think I have ever encountered this before and I don't even know if it's legal. My confidence in the store has been shot to pieces. I hope it was worth the extra 50 cents that you gained from my business. Buyer beware.

Mixed Experiences with Customer Service and Pricing – I recently visited Go Vita Glen Waverley VIC with the intention of purchasing health supplements and felt compelled to share my experience to inform future customers. Firstly, I noticed that the prices at Go Vita were notably higher compared to nearby options such as TerryWhite, where the products were available at 10% cheaper. This price… Read more

difference is particularly significant for those looking to make their health and wellness purchases more economically.

During my visit, the customer service experience varied greatly from a previous encounter. On a past visit, I was assisted by a gentleman who was thorough in guiding me through the product line, even taking the extra step to secure a discount for us. This level of service deeply impressed me and set my expectations for future visits.

However, my most recent experience was markedly different. I felt a reluctance from the staff member on duty to welcome or assist me. This contrasted starkly with my previous visit and left me feeling unwelcome. Further, when I requested a refund upon finding a cheaper price elsewhere, adhering to a policy I was previously unaware of, the situation escalated unexpectedly, leading to an uncomfortable confrontation.

It's disheartening to reflect on such a varied customer service experience, and it raises concerns about consistency and the welcoming nature of the store. I believe feedback is essential for growth and improvement, and I hope this review serves as a constructive critique. I encourage the store to consider the importance of consistent, friendly customer service and to re-evaluate their pricing in comparison to neighbouring competitors.

Inaccurate pricing online vs in store – I went to the QV Melbourne outlet today after checking the price for two deo pastes online. I was glad that the products were in stock. the specific products with the prices - sure enough, discounted. At first, I thought it was a genuine error or something. But the seller went on to argue that the extra cost is to cover the "shipment" price. Seriously? Shipping cost for someone shopping IN STORE!?

I had my card in my hand to pay, which I put straight back into my wallet and cancelled the transaction. I don't know if this is common practice at Go Vita, but today was my first time visiting them and I am surely never returning. This one experience is bad enough.

Difficult Staff Member - Springwood, Blue Mountains – I tried to get a refill on a herbal supplement in liquid form. I had the old bottle on which a staff member had written my name, the contents, the date dispensed and the practitioner's I.D. number. When I went to get a re-fill on a Saturday, the person at the Springwood store said that the name in their book didn't appear to be quite the same as… Read more

my name (either misspelt or scribbled illegibly). They also said that a specialist, who doesn't work Saturdays (their "busy day", she said - why doesn't their specialist work on their busy day?), would be needed to authorise my re-fill, even though this wasn't prescription medication. I had on no previous occasion been told that there might be hassles involved in getting a re-fill if I happen to come in on an inconvenient day. I had been led to believe that, if the herbal solution was in stock, that I could come in and purchase some anytime during business hours.

Additionally, this herbal solution seems to be the only thing I have ever bought at Go Vita that has had any effect. All other supplements and herbs seem to have done nothing for me at all. So the store mostly seems to contain placebos and "snake oil". Will definitely go elsewhere in the future.

Helpful staff – I love visiting my local Go Vita, even if I know exactly what I need I always enjoy having a look around at products and maybe find something new. Staff at my store are always helpful and insightful, I have specific health concerns and dietary needs which has been made easier thanks to advice and options in this store. Items can be a little pricey which is pretty consistent when you have to eat a particular diet so much of a much-ness. Show details ·  1

Deceptive customer offer – Having now read several of the reviews of this company, some training in customer service would seem appropriate; including in relation to my experience. I arrived at the Greenwood W.A. store yesterday (March 23, 2018) to find it closed for business and was given a printed notice about the closure by the woman packing up. Underlined and in all… Read more

capitals the notice stated to 'register your members card to receive a 30% voucher and a free gift' at the Woodvale store. I went there and when they did not have the products in stock I wanted, the shop attendant kindly phoned the Currambine store who did and would honour the 30% voucher. On leaving the Currambine store and checking my docket, there was only a $6.60 discount on $89.75 worth of purchase. I questioned the woman who served me to be told the discount was only on a single item and was the lowest priced item. I pointed out this condition was not stated anywhere on the notice and was met with 'but it doesn't say the discount is on the total purchase either'. Pointing out that if it is only a single item this needs to be stated clearly and was again met with the same response. She also informed me she had given me the discount on the most expensive item as if this was supposed to placate me. This is very deceptive practice and I will never step inside a Go Vita shop again.

Expired Products, Racist Behaviour in Glen Waverley Store – I went to Go Vita Glen Waverley store on Saturday March 3, 2018 around 3pm and was very disappointed when I learned there were expired bottles on the shelves. When I pointed that out to [Name Removed], he was visibly very defensive and non-apologetic when he remarked, "You are really good in spotting expired products, aren't you!". But that… Read more

sarcastic remark was pale in comparison to what he did next. He asked me to get out of the store. In his words, "Get out of my store!", which he uttered repeatedly when I initially questioned his whole approach to customers. He was probably too full of himself to apologise for the expired products sold in the store, and chose to show off his racist and patronising attitude towards an Asian customer.

I reported the incident to the Centre Management, and because it's weekend I only managed to speak to the Duty Manager who promised me that he would speak to [Name Removed] about this incident. Later that day I learnt through the corporate website that Go Vita is Australia’s largest health food co-op who is "committed to making a difference in our local communities with ethical, quality products and honest health advice."

Given my experience, the phrase "ethical, quality products and honest health advice" is no doubt the biggest understatement of the year for the Glen Waverley Store (of course, I am not referring to the overall Go VIta). Instead of "providing honest health and wellness advice" and treating customers in the local community with "care, respect and honesty", [Name Removed] has knowingly sold expired products in his store, (thereby targeting unassuming customers), and asked me to get out of the store (a racist, patronising behaviour that is not tolerable in this day and age).

Glen Waverley is an area with a large Asian community, and [Name Removed] racist and patronising behaviours are such a disgrace to other Glen shopping centre tenants and their customers. And totally un-Australian too! Left unchecked, his behaviours will damage the reputation of Go Vita Australia.
