Although I was sold 250mbs and received 170 at best, apparently this is deemed acceptable by you guys. I wonder if I short paid my bill by a comparable amount would that be acceptable?

Excellent customer service when faced with no internet connection. Quick to respond and very solutions focused!
Goodtel service deserves 6 stars. For once I have a telco that provides real service, same day if not same hour replies. Our NBN and mobile plan with Goodtel never fails and we're supporting good causes at the same time. Good stuff Goodtel !

Hi Stephen. After seeing your review I asked the team to triple check that everything was working on your nbn service as it should be. I appreciate getting 170mbps (at best) on a 250mbps service is extremely frustrating. Unfortunately nbn claim that the 'acceptable' range for a 250 service is from 150 to 250. I dont agree this is acceptable however whilst it is within nbn's acceptable range there is nothing they will do to speed up the service. It is likely this will improve over time, but there are no ETA's on when this could be and I can only apologise for the speed you receive in the meantime.
