Shane, their consultant was very helpful and professional throughout the process, guiding us, advising us, encouraging us and making sure every part of the process was well explained and executed. Although the process took about 4 months (as a result of shipping), it's ended well on the part of Grace, Canberra. The price was quite steep, but worth it.
A few glass items got broken, but Grace swiftly compensated us. Their partners in Ghana (Worldwide Movers) have worked tirelessly with us as well, with their agent Charles very supportive even as we speak. There's a little problem with the vehicle, but they are solving it as I speak.

I am not a customer of Grace Removals, yet today I witnessed their staff behaving outrageously. politely asked them to move. They refused and mocked disabled people — in broad daylight. This is not just illegal; it is cruel, disrespectful, and a total disgrace to the Grace Removals name.
If this is how their staff treat the public while representing the company, I cannot imagine how they would treat paying customers or their belongings. Shameful and completely unacceptable.
STAY AWAY FROM THESE COWBOYS! They cheat your money and leave you worst off. Here are photos of them moving boxes that block entranceways leaving you high and dry to deal with their mess. They will not help unpack and they will block your phone calls if you try to speak to a manager. Grace does not strive to make home moves seamlessly. They bring you your worst NIGHTMARE! Go elsewhere!!!!!!!!!

bed that isn’t mine. I was prompted by Grace to make a claim through their Insurance Company which I did, and the Insurance Company have referred the matter back to Grace Storage. It has now been 8 weeks since my removal and whenever I contact Grace Storage no-one is available and messages are not passed on or phone calls are not returned. When I call the Insurance Company they tell me the matter has been referred back to Grace and that they will follow it up. And I never hear back. Frankly Im beyond annoyed and angry and quickly moving into livid. I can’t believe a National Company like Grace has such nasty customer service.
Follow-up · The Insurance Agency is a subsidiary of Grace Australia so it’s a conflict of interest in that the Company is investigating itself. That’s dodgy at worst and highly suspect at best. Loved using this company. Used cheaper guys (to save money) who had no clue & damaged our belongings. GRACE pulled apart our bed & put it all back together again, for us to just have to put clean sheets on. It was wonderful. Thank you guys, you are all brilliant!
"4-bedroom house move from Queensland to Victoria. Very happy with the pickup and delivery; the guys were very helpful and there were no issues at all. Every item was in good shape and condition. The only issue was the stickers on each item; please go digital and take a picture of each item to catalog. Otherwise, I can’t fault the service; it was very easy to deal with.

Moved from NSW to QLD, furnished arrived and we had so many damages, items placed in sideways and so many things got crushed! They even hit walls while carrying furniture and said it wasn’t bad as they knew we were repainting the house. Now we are stuck with all broken furniture, we would have gone elsewhere. Show details
Horrible, picked up my stuff on the 5th December and said for sure it will be in canberra before christmas. I got my stuff and not all of it on the 9th january, broke a tv as well, very unprofessional, would not be going with them again and would tell anyone not to go with them.
Brad, the sales rep was great. The guys actually moving our goods were also great. They turned up on time for the move at both ends. But from there it was pathetic. Unanderra would not answer my phone calls re confirmation (see confidence factor above) but could ring me when they wanted a favour. Missed promised pick up date for the boxes (twice). Cost of moving for two adults no garage about 7kms was well over $4,000 which I thought was expensive but it did include 2 nights storage which Grace said was FREE??? Grace wanted a signature at delivery acknowledging no damage to goods but we weren't unpacked yet! Strange!! Overall very satisfied with the actual move but back office activities were pathetic.

Reception staff are friendly and willing to be helpful to guide you through the process from pick up to delivery. You feel as though the burden of moving has being lifted from your shoulders and then upon delivery the boys are careful with your things and will place them in the house where ever you require. The best by far. They moved my apartment furniture 4800k's across Aust with no problems.
As per usual Grace moved us again great help from Rob and Dave during the dramatic moving time. The boys did both the lift and drop. Rob moved us at least 3or 4 times and Dave at least twice over the years. Continuity is appreciated. 10 times (including Grace Illawarra, the Grace Sydney team, their NSW Customer Service), they have completely ignored us. Every time we contact them they say they will call us back, and yet no one ever does. Their complete lack of customer service and apparent complete disregard for the distress this has caused has been as upsetting as the initial issue of missing money and damaged items. This is the first negative review I have left online, but feel compelled to share our experience for the good of the community.
Non existent service? Unacceptable customer service- 3 large items of furniture short delivered on my international move which happened 3 weeks ago... phones do not get answered, messages go unanswered! Not the way to treat paying customers. Just have the courtesy to let me know what's happening. Grace do not deserve the one star I ticked-pity there wasn't the option of zero stars.

Our gorgeous packers, Peta and Dan, worked their magic and brought the laughs with them. And not a single item broken at the end!
Our uplift and delivery crew, Leo, Rai and Lucas were incredible. So careful with all our belongings and everything secured and protected perfectly.
As soon as we’d finished unpacking the team went out of their way to expedite collection of all our empty boxes and paper. This meant we could really start to settle in sooner.
We couldn’t be more thankful and happy with every aspect of Grace this week. Now if only the rest of life was as easy….
Found Grace efficient - came from Wollongong and packed very professionally one day and moved us the next with absolutely no problems at all. Due to our dithering an expensive wine fridge was not moved on the main removal day - Grace came the following day and delivered the wine fridge to Menangle from Wollongong free of further charge! Would always get Grace removals
Absolutely useless. Changed the day of pick up less than one week out from move date which resulted in more expenses such as accommodation, pet care etc for us. just called when they were 20 mins away from destination whilst we were still interstate. Many items were damaged, fridge dented, antique table gauged, smashed plates, glasses etc - definitely not due to poor packing on our behalf. So many pieces of furniture both expensive and not expensive chipped, damaged and dented. The removal guys left litter on driveway and some of them were rude and hard to communicate with - resulting in some items being put on truck that were not ours but belonged to the owners of the house that we were renting- essentially making us thieves - we had to reimburse them for some items worth hundreds. But one of the most infuriating things are the inventory stickers they use on the furniture- they take off paint, leave sticky residue and are quite hard to remove. If you value your possessions or have anything of value - please for the love of god -don’t call this incompetent waste of space company. I have moved over 25 times In my 44 yrs so I do know what a good removalist looks like and this ain’t it. They are very friendly and helpful initially but will lie through their teeth to secure your business and then (in our experience) screw you over in every respect.

international manager, failed to offer any helpful solutions and avoided taking responsibility for their mistakes. No compensation was provided.
- One box was nearly lost due to the failure to apply the correct label, and no assistance was offered. We have to deal with the local shipment partner ourselves in the UK to sort it out together and found the missing box with no label attached.
- Several pieces of furniture were damaged or broken. No apology was given, and only a computer-generated form was sent in response.
- The shipment was severely delayed. During the consultation, the consultant guaranteed that our shipment was on an ideal schedule; based on this assurance, we chose Grace over other companies. No warnings about potential delays were communicated. It appears the consultant was primarily concerned with securing a signed contract as quickly as possible. Communications after signing the contract was slow.
One fair compliment I would give is to the movers on the day. They were polite, helpful, and handled our belongings with care when moving them from our apartment to the lorry.
In all honesty I cannot recommend Grace for an international removal. We moved from Melbourne to Italy. We also wished to keep some items in storage in Melbourne. Grace was storing in Australia be delivered to us. The company in Europe who handled the delivery was unhelpful. They did not deliver on the day they advised. The address where the delivery was to be made is located in Switzerland. We travelled into Switzerland to meet the delivery truck at the time advised. We waited 6 hours, left numerous voice mails and emails which were never returned so we crossed the border to go home. The delivery was made early the following day with no advanced notice. We were not present and had to arrange for someone to accept the delivery. We then had to travel back to Switzerland. All this is bad enough but there was not any response to the voice mails or emails and no apology offered. Grace recommended the item be packed in a special crate. On arriving in Switzerland we discovered the crate was broken and the legs of the furniture item were poking through and damaged. We paid hundreds of dollars for the storage crate. It was not fit for purpose. We will use another company in future for an international removal. Footnote 1. Grace refunded the cost of the crate in full. The consultant was very efficient and I could not criticise her performance. I now await the outcome of the insurance claim to repair the furniture. Footnote 2. After some follow up and discussion the insurance was eventually paid out.
