Poor company. Full of misleading info. If you want garbage, buy from them.
Poor product quality and customer service(virtually none). In multiple cases, they sent me wrong product and when I raised the issue, they came up with all the rubbish logic. Once, they deducted almost 5K from my credit card without any invoice and I had to lodge complain through the card company. After details investigation, it was concluded in my favour and the money was recovered.
Other companies use them as the gateway to sell their quality failed products and garbage so buyers should keep their expectation low. To save time and money, I will recommend not to use them at all.
Shonky corporate entity no regard for the law
Money taken direct from credit card for car. Forced to sign documents before car shown to me. Then not as described. Refused to take car. Threatened with storage charges. Exercised by legal rights including a goods not as described reversal which they. We're told about..so they responded to me doing that by cancelling my account despite me still purchasing and paying for all items. The most unconscionable organisation I have ever come across. Does the CEO know how his staff behave... like vindictive people?. Do not deal with them... They are an...organisation who treat purchasers as commodities. I've never encountered such deceptive misleading and vindictive conduct from people employed by any business. The sooner the accc shuts them down the better and I'll certainly be pursuing their business conduct via that forum.
Purchased item. Booked a day/time to inspect/collect. The lady at the customer service desk was absolutely disgusting, no people skills at all. I asked if i could plug the the purchased item into the wall to test before accepting, and was told "NO".Dodgy. you may inspect as long as it doesn't involve seeing if it works before signing for it.
First and last time i will use them.
Do not buy a car for grays
In the title it states service history....... no it has a incomplete service history. The photos are deceiving at best. The car had been sunken in a swamp, mud and water under the carpet and the chassis rail’s and sill are full of mud and rust. And in the description it states

Bought a car from these guys. They gave me wrong log books for my vehicle. Took for ever to find out where our books were. You can only speak to people in the Philippines! No Australian phone contacts here . They are refusing to send my log books until I send them back the wrong ones they gave me first. Not our fault you stuffed up guys. Do the right thing first as a goodwill gesture. Also car was sold without plates and unregistered but when we went to RTA we found out that they hadn't handed in the plates or cancelled rego so we had another r...ound of phone calls to overseas call centre and a lot of unnecessary running around on our part. Extremely unprofessional. I wish I could post a copy of the stand over email I just received from them. I'm calling Dept of Fair Trading.
Buyer beware absolute scam and no customer service
I purchased a car from graysonline and found out the car had been listed 4 times prior to me buying it but advertised correctly stating the car had "transmition issues"
The car was then listed another 3 times after with same amount of kms with no mention of transmission issues.
me not knowing anything about the trans issues purchased the car and then went to Sydney to pick it up only to discover the car did not even go in to gear, had no reverse I was furious Ive then dropped the car back to the desk saying the cars stuffed barley drives.
I ...was told there would be a dispute lodged, this was close to 4 weeks ago now I am over $12000 out of pocket with the only way to contact anyone from graysonline via email as there call center is located in the Philippines and is not possible to actually call anyone from grays located in Australia.
Terrible Apps, Terrible Customer Service
Have used their app a number for bidding on their online auction (at different times), app always buggy i.e. bids not updating, pages freezing etc. Furthermore; when you actually win an auction, there’s total disregard for your good purchased, example is buying items categorised as “collectables”, and they stick their adhesive lot number labels directly on original packaging, which then damages the packaging upon trying to remove label. Has happened to me a number of times now; sent emails to their customer service email to lodge complaint, no response, they’re only interested in turning a buck. Buyer beware, consider using other reputable auction houses.

Sold me a car with a blown head gasket
Before bidding I obviously looked at the photos of the car. They conveniently showed photos of pages of up to date log book service history. I drove out the door and was stuck on the side of the road with the car overheating. When I looked inside the log book there was a pice of paper from a local mechanic clearly diagnosing a blown head gasket. Pack of mugs...
Absolute worst Company to deal with
Can’t ring grays online anymore and speak with anyone in Australia to check about anything there support team is located in the Phillipines unbelievable how is someone in mother country ment to help when they have absolutely no idea what your talking about
Disgusting illegal procedures!!!
Purchased a vehicle from this company. Vehicle was still registered upon purchase, which legally entitled me to warranty. Didn't drive 50 metres up the road without the car breaking down with a blown head. Did not receive any help or assistance with claim. And am no in legal proceedings. BE WARNED
Delivery Address Wrong
Purchased an item as a present and notified Greys Online as soon as won auction they had wrong delivery address. Thought all was sorted but when notified when goods dispatched 4 day later still had. Wrong address. Called and they would not contact delivery company to change address. Called delivery company and address changed in 5 minutes. Also what about the large markup on each item.
Bought a vehicle online looked the part, started fine look on dash engine light came on as we accelerated out of the yard went in limp mode drove with no power could even pull out it traffic. Were lucky we are alive. What heap of crap
$24.000 down the drain, parked up don't even want to look at it..

DO NOT BUY A CAR from GraysOnline
We bought an AudiS3 with less than 95 000 kms on the clock. Within 3 months (driven less than 1000 kms since delivery) the car is not working and requires over $12 000 worth of repairs! The car has been sitting at the Mechanics workshop for 2 months now as my son is saving up for the repairs. Warranty only covers $1500. Contacted GraysOnline and they don't care. Please don't buy from them.

has anybody had legal action taken against them for not going through with a purchase
my child bid and won a auction i have tried to cancel it but have been notified by grays that i need to pay 30% of the invoice cancelation fee also the difference in any shortfall the item may incur due to relisting
on the terms and conditions i can only find a statement saying 10% will be charged
what will happen if i dont pay they are threatening legal action

That is illegal and disgusting though i am not suprised these lowlifes will try anything stand your ground report to ACCC if you think you have been unfairly dealt with. Good luck

I have yet to pay anything I argued that the site says 10 percent cancellation he quickly said to me that they just have changed the policy and would speak to somebody to clear it up What fee is owing

Same thing Just happened to me. I called them but they wouldn't withdraw my bid and were of no help. Said if payment doesn't get taken out of credit card i can call to cancel it and pay 10% cancellation fee which I said I'm not going to do and i told them I'm going to cancel my credit card and I'm not gong to pay them a cent. They said if i do that they will cancel my account and ban me from registering again.
How did u go with your issue did it get resolved? I suggest u do not pay them anything.
Have purchased a registered vehicle but without a RWC. Can l drive it home
