Poor customer service / warranty experience
Purchased a laptop which had issues with the touch screen within the warranty period. Have been trying to understand the process to make a claim under the warranty (and even understand the process for it to be inspected). Customer service appears to be intentionally delaying providing me with any information on how to do this. Will be flying overseas in a few weeks which now makes this near impractical, despite having tried to get information on this for over a month.
NOT HAPPY JAN!!!!!
8 Screens. I was the highest bidder, I wanted 3 screens. The other bidder wanted 7 screens and he got them even thou he was the lowest bidder. I thought the highest bidder get what he wanted.
Very disappointed with Grays response.
This goes against their policy.
Ute I bought stuffed - evidence of deliberate cover up to hide faults before auction.
I bought a Ute online last Sunday 21st Nov at Hamilton Nth NSW. A family member checked the ute out for me as I live 600kms away - vehicle started no worries and idled nicely. I paid for a history of the ute- was reregisterd 26 Sept this year so I'm thinking it must be ok because it passed inspection only 6 weeks ago. I pick it up on a permit to drive it home so I can get blue slip at home. Everything seems all good - oil, water etc. Was disappointed to find blinkers not working and a chipped windscreen - I'm thinking how did it pass pink sli...p 6 weeks ago BUT if thats all thats wrong i can live with it. I get 5kms away and the temp starts to red line. I pull over. Water in reservoir but none in radiator. I put 6 litres of coolant in. She goes good and I'm thinking why no coolant in rad? 60kms on temp goes up again. I pullover. No coolant in rad again. Get it a mechanic. Turns out radiator stiffed and a cracked had in the engine. Evidence that chem weld been used. Either grays of the vendor have received the public. The vendor it turns out was a large car yard in Sydney. Did they deliberately register the car 6bweeks before the auction and then hand in plates to cover the paper trail? Did grays know this vehicle should of been in a salvage sale not a car sale ? I'm all is 10k out of pocket at the moment and waiting on a response from Grays. So disappointed

sold faulty vehicle that was described incorrectly - what can I do?
I bidded and purchased a vehicle today - the advertisement said it had full service. It had done 130k but the service log last service was 50k. It travelled 50km and stopped. It was clearly faulty and has oil and coolant leaks all through the engine. It cant be driven. GraysOnline have advertised the vehicle incorrectly and under consumer law, sold a faulty product. It has left me clearly stressed.
Good deals on auction wine.i have made multiple purchases and the quality, value and quick delivery was great. Okay, the lack of combined shipping fees and buyer premium is a bit disproportionate, but overall it's still a great price you cannot match offline.
Missing parts and poor service. Not a reputable company! wasted alot of money
Purchased lockers on the 9/10. they where delivered on 11/10, great speed in delivery.
Item purchased: * Twelve-Door Office Gym Shed Storage Locker
When the lockers arrived they had no instructions. I emailed and they emailed them out to us, great! However half the pieces where missing. Now I am in email war trying to get a refund or even the parts missing and have been requested to send photos of missing product, which I did, I have had 5 people contact me all requesting photos and evidence etc, which I ...
I purchased some items to the value of $1171.63. To be fair, there was a problem with my registered credit card because of an external attempted scam.I asked a customer representative for Grays banking details, so that timely payment could be provided.I was assured that an invoice could be forwarded, with BSB and account number contained. That invoice was received.......without any sign of banking details. As an alternative, my partners credit card details were provided, and payment was accommodated. Furthermore, confirmation of direct transfer,...after banking details were eventually provided, was confirmed.....thus constituting duplication of payment.........all of this within one day of completion of sale and purchase. In consideration of Gray's requirement of proof of cleared payment, why should I be required to wait for more than a month for refund of a duplicated payment......if, in fact, there is any intention to do so. Furthermore I have submitted emails requesting this refund and/or information regarding same.....to which I have had no reply. I suggest that this company demonstrates symptoms of being , at the very least uncaring, but possibly unscrupulous. The month since purchase has rolled over, and the sale is long finalised. Unallocated funds would appear to be clearly ignored? This is absolute rubbish and demonstrates features that any prospective purchaser from Graysonline should be well aware. It is my belief that, if this the manner in which they treat their customers, in terms of payment, there is little reason to trust them in terms of product. Thank You
False and misleading
Purchased a 191 build FPV F6 ute on the basis that it was a limited build car with matching numbers . Described in the advertisement of having a genuine fpv engine to match the cars VIN. Delivery to home and a inspection from a licensed mechanic found the engine was out of a substandard vehicle and was completely different to what they advertised it as . Have asked to return vehicle and for a full refund due to the misleading information provided by their establishment. I was declined an was not aloud to speak to anyone of higher authority other than employees from the overseas call centre. Matter is now in the hands of Fair Traiding
As soon as I bought the car, it broke down!!!!!!!
It's really the worst. A few days ago, Hilux from buying a problem entering the cabin of exhaust fumes and an Engine warning lamp is open.
The delegates are to continue repair is asking only that none of the accident and with no problem. Toyota fixing before the full repair center in repair that traces of the rulings was to go to where a person.
To ask for a refund but not to continue. Don't just say, warranty that, but had the government, saying that if something happens, get a refund on only that a lie.
My daughter is having a hard time drinking exhaust gas. Nevertheless, keep it fixed and put it on. I'll get a refund by any means possible.
The graysonline has not informed you of any problems with the vehicle.

Dont buy from newcastle if you are from interstate. SCAM
Bought car online from newcastle, they hide damage on purpose, windscreen smashed not mentioned, pic taken at an angle can not see, interior in terrible condition written good. Grays simply refused to help saying its onto vendor they can mislead we cant and wont do anything and vendor said sometimes we miss things when viewing the car like smashed windscreen missing and broken things. Really disappointed.
This is a scam auction system, I bid on a car a few months ago quite good, happy with it. Told a friend, That friend has been bidding on the same car, 4 times in a row now just keeps coming back with the same bidders, bidding on it and the same one seems to win it every time, maybe with a slightly different name, maybe not.
Such a dishonest approach. Why not be straight foward and put your reserve on it and stop scamming. You waste peoples time.
You get exactly what you pay for! Why should we expect anything better.
You can complain of course,...
They sold me an expensive car with RWC and a perfect description, so I have paid a big money for it ( to use it for Uber ), they gave it to me with a warm engine smoking a little ( its diesel ) but when I started it next day with a cold engine it was smoking a lot and i found a lot of hidden rust and other things ! ( its worth nothing ) , Its look like the RW tester was working for them .
They refused to refund it .
Im just parking the car waiting for the court decision.
Damaged goods no reply
Purchased RTV which was a ex Coates and was damaged whilst forked.
Coates would not allow me to come on site and waited for pick up where to my horror I noticed they picked the machine up with a fork lift damaging the drive shaft.
Reported this to Grayonline received a first and second message that someone would contact me which never eventuated, few more emails sent with no response. Looks like a faitraiding case Graysonline!

Would not use grays again!! Brought a couple of diamonds off them over two months ago THEY screwed up my address over a month went by and I started to wonder where they where.
After a couple of phone calls I tracked down that they had been sent back to the sender as the address was incorrect now they can't locate them and i can't get an answer out of anyone to where they are or when I will be seeing them. Cant ever get through to management. Custom service is terrible! Cant even get a refund as they cant find the diamonds. Wouldn't even think about going through them again.
Fake bidders, shill bidding, dodgy bros auctions stay away.
Signed up to bid on a vehicle and was winning vehicle at $709 only to be outbid by a bid of $4809 by dodgy bidder. Car was then re-auctioned the next week and same outcome with same bidder. Car was then re-auctioned a third time and same bidder was running up my bids. Rang and made an inquiry into the bidder and was told they would investigate. Auction then disappeared offline for 20 minutes and was re-instated with all of the dodgy bidders details removed and replaced by a different bidders name with the exact same bid times. This information ...was also altered in the previous two auctions to hide there tracks. Grays are welcome to challenge me on this as I screened shot all the auctions and bids and have all the evidence to show they are running dodgy bids to inflate the vehicle prices. Just watch their auctions and you will find lots of patterns of the same bidders on multiple auction in all states. Only rated them 1 star as there was no other choice. Buyer beware with this mob.

Questions & Answers
why are marked as sold yet are relisted for sail the following week. I notice this happening often. if there is a reserve it should be stated
We should come together and close this scam auction. This shouldnt be happening in Australia I blame the consumer law for all this been happening . and consumer law Australia doesnt take any auction against this . GraysOnline shame on you .
Every one that has been affected by these professional scammers should goto consumers law and report this unfair act , in order to stop this and to save others . the second option will be court hearing via a lawyer, they shouldnt be operating within Australia all their office should be closed under fair trading .
I purchased a vehicle with low kilometres on the speedo & the engine listed should be the original according to information on the ppsr, but when vehicle was inspected by mechanic after collection it was the wrong engine number & didnt even match the Graysonline invoice! its clear the engine which is identifiable Is the same one on the photos in the listing, this replacement engine has much higher kilometres but was not acknowledged in the listing, this is unlawful. I Have asked for refund, the advisor said bring the vehicle back, then the advisor said, no you own it you keep it. My patience is running out I have given them plenty of opportunities to rectify the problem but just getting the run around. This looks like another consumer law case in the making against Graysonline.
