Product not like the picture and description and 6 parts missing from the packaging. Of course you can’t talk or get in to anyone to sort out. What a joke

Grays have misrepresented and not told the truth about a car that my son has bought. After numerous calls to Grays (without them returning one of my calls or emails) and getting legal advice, Grays have again sold something that is not what it was advertised as. Their disclaimer is that you can start the car but cannot drive it if you do an online inspection, how do you know if it drives if they do not disclose that in their ad????
My 19 year old son out of pocket $4,000.
Be very cautious of buying from Grays Online.
I will not buy from Grays again.

I have found Grays to cover everything i need. I found them about 15 years ago when i was renovating my first house and have since bought Cars and all sorts of building material, tools really anything i have needed.
Everything i have got has been exactly as stated and i've been very happy with all my purchase's.

Another good car from grays

So far we have purchased 7 cars through Greysonline and we have had a good run out of them , we have picked a few of them up but now preferred to get them delivered. Be prepared to spend some money on them to get them on the road , because that is why they are they are at the auctions. We are very happy with all of the cars we have got and recommend Graysonline because the are easy to use and value for money.

Remember GraysOnline make more money if the car sells. With GraysOnline you have to make sure you see the vehicle before you decide to bid, GraysOnline will say on the ad the paint, panels and trim is good but it may not be the case. Make sure you turn the car on and see for smoke as that is also commonly seen. it is well known that you may not see the car and go off face value... then you are the loser.
With covid going on and Victoria under lockdown it is almost impossible to detect if the car has marks or dents as FaceTime doesn’t pick it up all the time.

I have dealt with Grays since 2015 beginning in Victoria. This was my first purchase in Queensland and I have always been delighted with the process. The only small thing, I waited for 10 minutes to see if I had won the bid and it seemed like 10 hours. 5 minutes would be a good compromise I feel.

Otherwise I think Grays are excellent to deal with and with total integrity

Vehicle Buyer Beware

Bought a 2005 Subaru (sight unseen). Collected and notice lots of leaking oil underneath. Head gasket issues ($2400 to repair). Seller can show photos of a tear in seat but can't photograph under car showing heaps of leaking oil. Will Never Buy from again.

Bought a car online that looked in tip top shape, with very low Klm’s. Got it home....Gearbox was destroyed, Alternator shot, abs and computer needed to be replaced. I spent a lot more on repairs than I paid for the car. I couldn’t even imagine what previous owners did to the car. Don’t think Auctions are a cheap option. Cars been at mechanic’s for 5 weeks now and around $5000 in repairs outstanding.....LEMON

My son purchased a vehicle a month ago still trying to get a refund. When we went to pick up the vehicle had hail damage on the roof when I should the worker told him this wasn't mentioned on the sale description he had a look and agreed told us leave the car thier so we did i said cant we just resolve here to get the refund he said no you have to call this number . Since that day we have been calling thus number firstly the said it will take 2-5 days to get the refund its been a month same ridiculous answers it has been ESCALATING, cannot get any manager or supervisor to talk too please stay away from them horrible service . Can anyone help what can we do ...

I would like to know why a vehicle that I have been interested in keeps coming back for re auction week after week (three times now) I asked this question to Grays staff and they said that most likely they did not receive payment, After researching the bidders & bidding actions over these three auctions I find this hard to believe. My thoughts may be that in house shill bidding happening here, which in the FAQ this is fraudulent and something that they definitely frown upon!!! The other question in one of these three auctions shows this outcome:

The time that these bids were made and realising the bid price is the same one would think that the bid made at 8.07.57 would be the winner , I believe that you cant bid the same amount. Am I missing something here??? Would appreciate your thoughts on this.

I have noticed this as well on a car I was looking at, every week it is sold and every week it comes back for auction?
It would appear something is very wrong.
I dont think I can trust what is happening with the auto auctions.

I have/had been buying wine from Grays for years, but their pricing (start prices) are now ridiculous and it is a waste of time. I notice that most wine never gets sold now - so Grays you have priced yourself out of the market. By the time you add the auction sale price and freight it is better to go to Uncle Dan and buy seeing the wine in your hands. Perhaps it is a good opportunity for another wine auction site, as Grays is no longer viable to the average wine buyer. Good Bye Grays!

Is anyone starting a class action against grays online? I have paid more than $7,000 to fix the car I brought...I drove it out and with in the first 15ks I knew something was wrong! I had to put in a new transmission....it still needs an alternator the tyres were all bald and not roadworthy it has taken me more than 6 months to get it on the road and I still can’t drive on the freeway because it needs new suspension and bushes and it’s not safe to have my kids in the car! I’m a single mum on a pension....I have reached out to grays several times with no reply. I have heard of so many horror stories with their cars surely someone out there has started a class action or lawsuit they would like to turn into a class action? It is so easy to find so many more victims of this evil company!
