Frying pans terrible for normal cooking, burns soooo easily, takes the fun out of cooking entirely because you are always worrying about damaging the pan. Useless even at medium heat.
Bought 2 non-stick frying pans in the last year. Treated them in accordance with the instructions provided by Green Pan. They no longer non-stick. Just discarded one of them, the second one will follow soon. Disappointing product.

TERRIBLE NON-STICK PAN! I purchased this a couple of months ago and the non-stick lasted about 2 weeks and then everything started sticking! I have only ever hand washed it and followed their cleaning instructions and everything sticks to it and you have to soak the pan all day! I will never buy another one! I contacted their customer service by email a week ago and haven't heard a thing!

All I can say is if people are having problems then it's probably their own fault. After several months my frypan is still pristine. I follow the advice (no high heat, no spray oil) and I always clean it fastidiously to remove any residual oil. So far so good
Gotta say I'm having a very different experience than these other reviews, had the pans for about 6 months now and work great. I will say we used to have enamel cast iron pans and we treat these the same, don't use the dishwasher (takes me around 1 minute to clean with soap and cloth) use the rubber cleaning tools not metal ones and put a… Read more · 1
microfiber cloth between them in the draw so they don't scratch.
I think if your a "if it can't survive the dishwasher it won't survive here" type of person than get the teflon ones but for me not worth the risk. If you're happy to take the extra few minutes to clean it and store properly can't say I can fault them.
Also glad I didn't see these before buying would have missed oit
We bought a GreenPan frying pan 32cm approx 8 months ago & use it at least 4 nights per week. This frypan has been amazing to use for cooking a variety of foods from fish to red meats including marinated food. Cleaning is an absolute dream, we allow to cool down before washing with dishwashing liquid, hot water & a soft sponge. Before using we… Read more
preheat on low for a minute, medium for another minute & then setting to temp needed. We only use good quality 100% vegetable oil as stated on their website. Not sure why all the negative reviews?? Maybe not using correctly as it’s not like your carcinogenic teflon/aluminium frypans. Read instructions included & visit website!
I’m honestly surprisingly so disappointed in this product because in my experience so far, it simply does not do what it says it will do. Primarily, my biggest issue with this product, is that IT DOES NOT WORK ON INDUCTION COOKTOPS , despite heavy advertising that it does. The thick aluminium base and induction cooktops are definitely not… Read more
“best friends”, in fact, they’re not compatible at all, at least not on my electric induction cooktop.
I actually wasn’t planning on replacing my excellent Baccarat stainless steel cookware set as it been brilliant for many years. However, when I was recently in store, I happened to come across this Greenpan Padova set on my way out, and it did grab my attention. It certainly looked beautiful in Smokey blue colour, PFAS free (which is a big thing thee days), great stainless steel handle, thick aluminium base, ceramic and non slip and “supposedly” works on any type of cooktop including gas and induction. And the price, originally $749 down to a phenomenal one day price of $299. I’m sure most customers like myself would agree, all these factors ticked a lot of boxes. I thought, especially given the original price that I was buying a very high quality cookware set, and it’s certainly promoted that way. I don’t feel that way now.
So my first cook was on the smallest frypan where I cooked an omelette. It worked well on this particular piece, heating up in minutes and slid beautifully out of the pan onto the serving plate. At that point, I was impressed. That was, … until I wasn’t. The next day, I used one of the saucepans to boil water for a few eggs, and this did not perform in anywhere the same manner as the small frypan. Honestly, I stood there for not joking 20 minutes watching it and no boil whatsoever. Not even close. The water was warm, but nowhere near hot. I then even swapped elements on the cooktop just in case there was something amiss with the element I was using. Same thing, the water simply DID NOT BOIL. I was frustrated and annoyed, thinking “what have I just paid $300 bucks for” !! In the following days, I used the medium sized frypan and this also did not perform well with the heat distribution very, very poor. Although I do like the small omelette frypan and use it regularly, the rest leaves a lot to be desired, so much so that I find myself not even wanting to cook with this set due to its poor performance on my cooktop, and I think “that mindset” and that fact alone speaks volumes for the overall cooking performance of this set. I feel incredibly let down by it and monumentally disappointed in it. Maybe it would better on gas or whatever, but be can only speak from my personal experience, and I rate it, deservingly, poor. Would I recommend this product, … on my experience , NO. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.
For the record, yesterday I retuned the set to the Myer store where purchased. I had no choice because they simply do not work the way they are supposed to on induction cooktops. Since I had already given away from Baccarat set to a more needy person, (& thinking my Greenpan set was going to be excellent), I was left with. I cookware at all. I used the refund on the Greenpan set tomourchase a stainless steel set in another brand.
If you have induction,….. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.
The worst pan i have even had. Your better off getting a $5 pan from target. They last longer. The photos are after only 4 weeks of use, can not clean off, and look at the base, all the food sticks around the edges

Worst frying pans – Terrible frying pans, bought 2 and very expensive . They both stick and everything takes ages to cook in them
Follow-up · I kept one frying pan, followed the instructions on how to care for it. It lasted about 12 months then started sticking and after that it was no good. I’ve gone back to tefal and for me this has been a much better product
(Greenpan APEX 7pce set) We bought a set of these 2 months ago and as an avid home cook, I absolutely love them! I tried the Triton Pan from House that's meant to be non-stick/stainless and it was rubbish. These are so much better for non stick. Of… Read more
cause, you'll never get 100% non-stick but these are 98% and clean up so nicely. You get beautiful sear and the ability to sear a chicken breast and throw the whole pan in the oven to finish is just outstanding. If you treat your pans and knives well, they'll look after you for a long time and after 2 months of use on gas cooktop, these are holding up. Will buy more and highly recommend.
Follow-up · Ok, it's now been several months. The pans non-stick coating has degraded a little with use. What I've found is if you treat the pan like a stainless steel pan, use heat control and oil, you can still get a non-stick effect. I really like these pans for the durability and flexibility. I think I'll be replacing the fry pans every 12-18mths because… Read more

helpful. I have tried to grill a steak twice now (only just got it), and ended with it cooked right through both times, to my rage - I like mine medium rare to rare, and I bought this appliance specifically for the grilling of steak. I could happily publish a rave review if Greenpan will provide me with something a whole big lot better than the manual that came with it; but right now I am unable to use my new Contact Grill.
Follow-up · OK, it wasn't a lovely thick steak - who can afford that ?! I cooked it for about two minutes on each side so as to get it rare to medium rare, and it was only a little less rare than I like. As for the settings ... the twist buttons that are supposed to apportion separate heats to the different trays - well, they didn't. But then, the manual's directions lack clarity for an ancient.
Follow-up · I'm happy to report that the company supplied a total refund. And they said I needn't return the grill ! So although I can't say I'm a Greenpan Contact Grill fan, I am of The Cookware Company's/Greenpan Australia's business methods.
This review is for the Greenpan Contact Grill, which I wrote into the heading (but someone edited it out).

I've had my GreenPan Valencia frying pans for a few months now, and I've been recommending them to anyone who will listen ever since. They brown steak, chops and chicken beautifully, and so far nothing has stuck to the pan - not sticky sauces, seasonings or marinades. The non-stick performance has been excellent. cooking red onion, which left a dark stain that wouldn't wash off with normal cleaning. However, GreenPan's website provided simple deep-cleaning instructions, and after following them the pan came up looking like new again. No hours of soaking, no harsh chemicals - just near-boiling water then a gentle scrub for a few seconds with a restoring sponge.
If you're looking for a wedding or engagement gift, replacing old cookware, or simply tired of scrubbing pans after every meal, I highly recommend these. They've been the best kitchen purchases I've made.

Bought the contact grill and it makes the best cheese toastie Ive ever had, also cooked up some quesadillas perfectly. I love Greenpan, its a safe and non toxic for cooking. I have changed over everything all my pots and pans including my airfryer and slowcooker etc. You do need to cook a slighly lower setting to avoid sticking, definitely needs less heat, I use 8 on my induction cook top instead of 9, I find it works best or it will burn and stick. Complete WASTE of money buying a set of 3 greenpans from Myer. I bought the cream coloured pans as they looked great. But everything you cook sticks to the pan and it is impossible to scrub the black marks off the white pans no matter how hard you try so now they don't even look good either.
Not a non stick! After 3 months the food started sticking on it. It is like using a overhyped pan with no quality! It did feel great one month and aftee that we struggled to cook anything! The lifetime warranty is a sham!!!
We bought Greenpan airfryer, that is the worst airfryer we ever had. It always stopped in the middle of the cooking then restarted again after 1 min, then getting more frequently. The custom service did not want to give us refund, then took long time to replace another one, then the same problem happened again. They should stop sale this faulty airfryer untill they improve their quality. Dont waster you money and time to buy this product.

Welcome to Green Pan, the very expensive, non-PFAS Non-stick Frying Pan that's healthy for you and where you need to dig your breakfast out of the pan. Only used a few times without excessive heat and no scratches. Rubbish products sold by a scam company.

Looks Great When New, Ages Too Quickly Unfortunately, due to lack of time, I was not able to leave this review earlier. After almost six months of use, I wanted to share my honest experience. are. While the interior coating is still in reasonable condition, food sticks more than I expected from a non-stick pan and often requires soaking and scrubbing.
What makes this particularly disappointing is that GreenPan is not a budget brand. If this had happened with an inexpensive cookware set from stores such as Anko, Kmart or Big W, it might have been understandable. However, for cookware sold as a premium product, I expected much better durability and appearance over time. For the price paid, I believe the exterior finish should hold up much better than it has after only six months of normal household use.

both of them. And for those 2 weeks I used a gentle dishwashing soap on them until it didn't work anymore! I know you aren't supposed to but I've ever tried gumption to get all the stains off (defeats the purpose of low tox but I was desperate) and they will not budge! I literally use olive oil and butter for my cooking on a low heat. Please tell me what I've done wrong because this is absolutely ridiculous. You should be replacing these for me! I've never had pans like it. I cannot tell you how shocked I am at the quality! Just terrible. I cannot afford to buy new frying pans every 3 months! I own lots of Le Creuset in white and they are all perfect so it certainly isn't my cleaning skills!
Edit: What a pathetic response from GreenPan! Most passive aggressive 'apology' ever. No I am not having trouble 'cleaning' the pan. Your product doesn't work. The non stick stopped being non stick two weeks in! Nothing to do with my cleaning ability. How dare you. What a disgraceful company. Selling a dodgy product and then trying to blame the customer. I will be throwing the pans in the bin today and will ensure I write as many bad reviews as possible. Horrible pans and horrible customer service.

We thought we had an amazing set of pans on our hands for the first week. How wrong we were. We carefully followed all of the care and cleaning instructions to no avail. it and sent us back to Myer. Who has time for multiple follow-ups, which is what I am sure they hope for, and after 6 months of persistence and scrubbing... I binned it. GreenPan, if you can't stand behind your product, don't expect your retailers to have your back. An expensive and painful experience, but a lesson learned. Don't purchase GreenPans; they don't last, and they won't stand behind their products. My only recourse is this review, which I hope will help others make a better choice.

reviews so they don’t look like they’re covering up. But nope, I’m not playing now. See below my original review, fair game if they want to block genuine reviews. Highly recommend avoiding buying from this company due to dishonest behaviour and manipulating reviews, suggest not buying from reseller retailers too, there is nothing honest about this company.
Here is my review of the Greenpan frost Sadly, this machine is of poor quality in the materials of the clear churning bowl. Bowls are cracking a breaking in th locking lug/channels on the clear bowl where it is attaching to the machine after a few uses. I saw that others were using the same issue so was vigilant with the care and treatment of the bowl, confident that I’d win. Well, after 6 uses, 2 of the 3 locking mechanisms on the bowl cracked. Poor customer service from Greenpan direct. The unit itself is decent, but when a company denies any issues to one customer an confirms they are aware with others, I smell a rat. My retailer has seen several units be returned for the same issue. Highly recommend looking up the Facebook group to read genuine content on this machine before you lay out your money. Not all retailers are keeping up with consumer rights either. These machines should be recalled and issues rectified before resuming sale again. If they fix the bowl, they’d have a semi decent machine. Yeah, slushies came out good, but you need to spent lots of time and ingredients in making the perfect soft serve. Buyer beware is all I can say. Australia Greenspan do not have spare parts to replace faulty items, some staff deny there is an issue, then others will say they are fixing the issue with the bowls with other customers. Staff also refuse to pass you on to a manager because apparently they don’t have any. Yet another rat. Poor service, which is a shame, as I would have actually waited for a replacement bowl once breaking issues were rectified, instead, here I am hoping I can save others from paying too much for this pile of trash. See the Facebook group for all the others from all over the world having the same issue, with the exact same cracks with minimal use. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!

but after another two uses, food was sticking to the pan again. Today it went in the bin. If frypans have so many stipulations for use I.e use only low to medium heat, let the pan warm up before adding oil etc etc then clearly they are not tough enough for daily use, so what is the point then? I have other frypans that have stood the test of time and I cook ALOT. Don't waste your money on these pans. It's all warm & fuzzy to promote these as healthy cooking pans but you have to look past the marketing gimmicks because that's all you are really paying for.
