Just like the other reviews! Terrible fridge and even worse customer service!!! – Would not recommend! Do not buy from HAIER or FISHER & PAYKEL. Fisher & Paykel was purchased by Haier in 2012. approved a replacement without contacting me and told me its already been 'processed'. They did not even give me the option for a refund. I had to fight over the phone for days just so I can get my refund 'approved'(Even though I'm entitled to one). I have the option to pick between a replacement or refund according to the Manufacturer's Warranty, as this issue is considered as a "MAJOR FAILURE". They make it difficult for customers on purpose so they can either get a replacement (benefits Haier) or store credit (benefits the retailer).

!!!If you are reading this, please take into consideration my story before purchasing this product. I don't usually leave reviews but this was a must. Save yourself the nightmare and do not buy this fridge. Not only is their product unsafe but their customer service is even worse!!!

When we asked if Haier/Fisher & Paykel could arrange for the new fridge to be delivered sooner, they suggested that we pick the fridge up ourselves, which is impossible unless you own a truck and a bad idea for insurance reasons as fridges need to be moved professionally with care. I spent 2.5 hours on the phone to Haier/Fisher & Paykel customer service representatives who were SO unhelpful - they have refused to compensate us for our losses even though they have an obligation under Australian Consumer Law to return the consumer to the same position they would have been in had the fridge not broken. When I asked if we could be compensated for the takeaway food we have had to order as a result of not having the fridge, the representative said no because this was OUR CHOICE. How are you supposed to cook normally if you don't have a fridge???

They suggested that if we wanted compensation then we would have to take the matter to ACAT; a waste of time and money, a waste of the tribunal's resources, and a clear evasion of the company's obligations under Australian Consumer Law.

Never ever buy a HAIER APPLIANCE - they are faulty and you won't receive any help from the company if your appliance breaks.

No complaints - very happy – We had a very small space but needed the biggest fridge for the space available. Haier 450 litre seemed perfect. need to be fully opened to get the drawers out, so be careful if you are locating the hinge side against a wall. The temperature LED's on the fridge door are only displayed when the doors are opened. The temps are not actually what is happening inside the fridge but rather what the desired settings are. Kinda meaningless really. In operation - super quiet.

I needed to change the hinge side. Some suppliers can arrange this but it was $150. I did it myself but it wasn't easy. Whilst much of the fridge manufacture and fittings were excellent, the bolts used are really cheap and the heads are somewhat rounded. You will need a good socket set and lots of patience. The freezer door bottom hinge mounting is located UNDER the fridge. Note that whilst the bolt heads are the same dimension, the thread sizes are different for the middle hinge to the top and bottom hinges.

Appliances Online cannot be faulted. Amazing service. Next day delivery to the NSW South Coast. Frequent automated SMS to advise of delivery status. Delivery guys were terrific. Free delivery, free removal of old fridge.

What an excellent fridge freezer – As one of the biggest white goods manufactures, Haier got it so right with this one. the cold water dispenser, it is easy to re-fill and can take water OR anything you choose to refill it with. The capacity is about 2 litres. The door has 3 large bottle space and a wave shelf accessory that allows for a further 3 wine bottles that lie flat on the shelf of your choosing. The fridge area of adequate for 2 to 3 people with 2 drawers for fruit and veg and meat both can be temperature contolled. I run the freezer on -15 degrees (can go down to -25 degrees) and fridge on 3 degrees while the meat drawer is on 2 degrees. Totally brilliant. Recessed handles on the side of each door and it is possible to change the door opening from left to right if required. Oh, and very quiet, you can't hear it running. Fridge has very good lighting, freezer does not. Fridge has a small door enclosed shelf for eggs of dairy and a long but short shelf in the door for mustard, small jars of stuff or tubes of glue. So there are 2 other treated glass shelves apart from the shelf above the veggie drawer. Compliance plate inside the fridge on the right hand wall. I strongly recommend this appliance.

Simple & elegant design – I shopped a LOT for a fridge & this is brilliant. The stainless steel shows no marks, the extra fridge draw with special zone works! lasted 3 months, fridge & freezer not working – fridge and freezer no longer functioning, lost all food in both compartments. Having been attempting to contact Havier customer care for weeks and not able to get through to make a claim. I also purchased their washing machine and now that is malfunctioning too. fridge. I will rebuy a Fisher and Paykel that served me without any issues and I only replaced it bc it was 13/14 years old. I miss my old fridge that shut properly, kept food in the climate intended. That's not asking too bloody much is it? At least, this review will save others from a lousy purchase.

Don't buy Haier – Bought this fridge brand new off Appliances Online. After a couple of weeks we realised the seal was broken. Good enough – Positives: has worked well for us for 3 years, good temperate control, good energy consumption. Negatives: slid Id ing shelves often fall off the tracks. Freshbox shelves dont disassemble and can grow mould in the cracks (after years) with no way to access to clean. Show details

to be meaningful. The Samsung fridge closest to this one has almost 3 liters;

-The draws (crisper and extra). These are great but you need to open with two hands as with one it gets stuck (comes out crooked); and

-Lack of ice tray in the freezer.

My biggest gripe (and we'll see how I go with Haier's tech in the ACT) is that the seals are absolutely crap. We've noticed neither the fridge nor the freezer vacuums properly and we've had instances where the freezer seal has come out of its groove and resulted in the freezer staying open and spoiling things in the freezer. I never had an issue with my old fridge (a Samsung from 2011) about seals and the like and this has made this fridge after only 4 months.

I will update post tech visit - but if its the same guy as who checked over my Haier washer, he'll do his utmost to not do a thing.

work well – The fridge runs very quietly, the freezer is easy to clean, the space is large enough to provide ample food and drink, and it's perfect for kids to enjoy quick cold drinks. Excellent, no problems at all – I've had this fridge for over 1 year now, and I'm very happy with it. Can't complain at all. It's silent, and I have no issues with frosting or anything else. Good – Good clean design, price is reasonable and affordable, we only have 2 people so the space is really enough, pretty much all functions we need has been met. draws open and close without any issues. Other than that you really do get a lot for your money compared to other brands. Having two draws in the fridge is very handy, especially since you can adjust the temperature in one of them. The water dispenser flows at a great rate and does not drip once released. The 3 freezer draws are great. The outer walls are not overly thick so you get a decent amount of internal space. A big bonus is that you can switch which side the door opens from and it's fairly easy to do.

Very Pleased With This Fridge – This fridge is a big improvement on out old rust bucket one and its like night and day! It is quite - that's the first big plus and I love having the freezer bottom mounted. I was thinking its more environmental friendly like that (cold drops) but I have discovered that all the food is at a much better height to choose like this. Could use more freezer room – Quiet for the most part i notice it more so on hot days is a little louder. Fridge is awesome with a draw that has its own temprature option. Great little fridge! – Bought this fridge off Queensland Appliances online and other than a couple of issues which were resolved the fridge is working beautifully. Keeps everything very cool, adjustable digital thermostat, water dispenser for when you're thirsty for cold water and bonus "myzone" compartment with it's own temp control for items you wish to keep extra cold in your fridge. More than Happy – Purchased 5 months ago and love it. For the price it offered features that more expensive in other frigs have. Four star rating and five slide out draws that separate foods and reduce the loss of cold from the other parts of the frig so very cheap to run. internal lights and surprisingly large capacity. Cold water dispenser is very slow so we continue to use stored water in the frig unless you have a minute to fill a glass.

Great Product – Fantastic fridge has heaps of space and we love the bottom cold zone drawer. The crisper is huge and keeps the fruit amd veg nice for ages. happy with it. It is super quiet and it os very easy to clean out with the glass shelves a quick wipe amd it is as good as new.

Good fridge – This fridge is a bit noisy to run often noise cutting in and out so hard to get used too. Shelf height is also a bit awkward and freezer draws are to small in comparison to fridge space. A month went by and same thing happened! This time technician arrived just a week later and he told me first technician hadn't noticed a manufacturing fault, which he had rectified. Again i was assured everything would, henceforth, be okay.

Another month has gone by and guess what? Yes, it has packed up for the third time with the same symptoms as before. Haier won't replace and I am waiting for another technician to call (ten days wait this time). Claims for compensation for wasted food also ignored.

I will be contacting Ministry of Consumer Affairs after visit from third technician.

Perfect Family Fridge – Modern stainless steel finish with external LED displaying inside temp zones (3). The drawers sometimes come out a little crooked, and it's difficult to push back in......but that's a small thing that's easy to avoid by ensuring to pull out the drawers straight.
