It just bundles everything up into a big clump and nothing dries. Absolutely terrible
In under 18 months, the entire barrel rusted. It’s caused over $2,000 worth of damage to linen and clothes. Absolutely devastated and now significantly out of pocket. I have had Haier products for the last 13 years or so. I always upgrade every 2 years or so, and I think this will be the last time I choose Haier products. While this dryer is exceptionally good at drying clothes, it's horrid at drying bedding and towels. Although it claims to have reverse tumble action, it only reverses twice during a load.… Read more
Whether it's set to bedding, bulky, or towels, it doesn't reverse tumble enough to stop the articles from balling up and becoming a ball of wet clothes. There is no way to increase the reverse tumble either. This could be something they update in the future with the ability to be able to update the software using the app, but from the conversation I had with Haier, there is no interest in them even being able to look into it.
So, the upside, it's a hybrid dryer, so it can dry quickly, but it will cost more to run. You are able to run it as just a heat pump to save money, which is really cheap to run. Connecting to the app is easy as, it doesn't have as many programs as they claim it has, but it has enough, even though the "bedding" program is not fit for purpose, nor are the Bulky or blanket programs.
Would I buy this again? No, I think Haier is slowly getting worse with their designs and making their machines unfit for purpose. Unfortunately, the washing machine that came with this is also one that's a bit rubbish and nowhere near as good as my old one.
