This is a total buyer beware job. Had a 2 year warranty and at just under two years the heat pump and rotor started to fail. Using the thing was louder than a plane taking off. Using the manufacturers warranty, it took them 2 months to repair the thing. It’s not a later and the exact same issue has cropped up again. Do not buy this dryer if you want something that lasts. Not recommended if you have an open laundry or laundry near bedrooms : this is our first heat pump dryer, we bought it just over 12 months ago and unfortunately it has been serviced twice in that time frame. On the first visit, the repairer just popped a bit of Loctite on the offending part to stop the noise, a few weeks later the noise started… Read more
again and a bearing looking dust/powder residue was under the dryer, where parts had been rubbing, I guess. On the second visit it need parts replaced but the repairer did not have any of the parts required and needed to order them, so 10 days later the dryer parts were replaced but it is still not as quiet as when we first purchased, it echoes throughout the house. Repairer said that is how they are, Okay great. Our laundry is at the back end of the house near bedrooms so we do not put it on in the evenings unless we really need to. Drying times are extremely long and the placement of the water tank is at the top, which is not ideal really but never mind, i will definitely be more aware on my next heat pump dryer purchase, which i believe will be pretty soon from the sounds of the dryer, it will probably last for the warranty period. Why are things not made to last anymore, so disappointing.
I purchased this dryer in June 24. We need to cycle bed linen regularly and in winter that gets tough. Starting off: simple basic functionality, lint compartments are decent and look is great. Function for sheets is USELESS, like, actually not usable. The speed and cadence of the dryer puts the sheets into a ball, every time, without fail. … Read more
Add dry towels, the same, try smaller loads, the same, nothing stops it becoming a pointless ball of washing that does not dry. The only solution is to at 5 to 10 min increments, put it all out and re load. It will also be on cycle for 3plus hours, so no, you're not doing that. Again forget about sheets in the machine.
Normal clothes are fine, ive found some shrinking happening but your cant expect that not to happen.
Removing the water from the draw is quick and easy too.
Finally noise. Mid to late cycle its HORRENDOUSLY loud, its a vibration on the plastic area where the dials are, its sends you bonkers. Location in photos.
If you want something for clothes, sure. Linen and bedding look elsewhere..

Warranty nightmare – We purchased this dryer in May, the glass in the door fell out in September and since then we have been going back and forth to have this dryer fixed/replaced with Fisher & Paykel and The good guys. Over 3 months and we're still fighting to have this matter sorted. Terrible service, terrible product. Is now in the hands of Fair trading. Show details
Great dryer with great value – I purchased the Haier heat pump dryer for the New Year to replace my old vented dryer. I paid $770 after getting a price match at Bing Lee, which was a great deal. The dryer performs exceptionally well – it's much quieter and gentler than traditional dryers. It offers a variety of drying programs, and the anti-crease function is fantastic. I'm really loving it! Best dyer - quiet and quick – One of the best dryers I’ve ever owned. It’s very quiet, dries very quickly, has multiple settings, easy to clean, low energy consumption, doesn’t heat the room and it looks so stylish. Can’t fault this dryer at all. Highly recommend it. Show details
